The decor is bright and clean, and there's a few tables inside. It's a fast casual setup where you order and pay at the counter. I opted for the regular size Tuna Lovers bowl, which I thought was a fair portion. To me, the taste was just ok - I've had much better poke bowls and for less $. A really good poke option! I got a build your own bowl, the large option which means you get 3 proteins. The regular option has 2. This is a great poke option, you pick your base, your protein, toppings, sauce, etc. The protein, toppings, and sauce all get mixed together unless you request they don't. Not a lot of poke places take this approach but it's a good option. The interior is well maintained, very clean. The staff is very helpful and nice! The only downfall is the price, I'm not a fan of extra charges and this stop has some up charges for a few topping options- it's nothing too out there but if you're not looking to spend a lot be mindful! Food wise I bought the new volcano bowl (included spicy salmon and spicy tuna). I got with brown rice and everything else it came with. It taste good, however it is not worth the price (2 bowls were ~$30 with taxes). I got 4-5 cubes of fish. It was 90% salad with spiced jalapeños. Pretty middle of the road for a poke place. The Detroit location was good when I'd had that 2 years ago so today I was in the area and thought I'd give this one a try. Unfortunately, my meal was lacking sauce which made it a bit bland but my friend's meal was good and flavorful. The team seemed very nice and even let me try a sample when I walked in to pick up some carry out. A clean and nice establishment but again, the flavor left something to be desired. I'd also note that it's pretty pricey for the portion you'll get compared to other places that are similar but it's worth a try if you want poke. But we came here for a "healthy" dinner to go for the road, and it was good. I was really happy with my experience at Poke Poke, I appreciated they had vegan options that were clearly labeled on their website and more than one vegan sauce option. I also thought it was nice that takeout orders come packaged in a sealed bag so if you order as a delivery, you don't have to worry about any mishandling. I do wish their vegan options were more clearly labeled while ordering in the app, but at least the website can be cross referenced. This place has so many great customizable options. I'm not a raw fish eater, but that was not a problem here. I made my own bowl with brown rice; chicken, artificial crab, corn, and cabbage mixed with spicy mayo; and topped with nori strips, crispy onions, tempura bits, and masago. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and light, yet filling. The interior is bright and clean and the service was friendly. They are very precise when adding ingredients to the bowls, measuring out everything. That is a good thing - it ensures consistency and the portions are pretty generous. I was so excited to try this place because I love poke, however this was extremely disappointing. I was first bummed out when I saw that they did not have a marinated option for each raw fish. This is what makes it poke! The serving sizes were pretty skimpy and they charge extra if you want more than their one squirt of sauce. I asked for free soy sauce packets to add more sauce because it was so dry and bland. The biggest disappointment of all was the fish itself, it was super fishy tasting. Not normal for sushi or poke. We came here 3 times in 4 days? I think that tells you a lot. The guys behind the counter were so awesome, so friendly, and so ready to help in anyway possible. We ended up doing "make your own", kind of like subway but in a bowl. Wonderful array of fresh seafood, rice, and veggie toppings.. the sauces are so good. This place is really "hip".. I've been in here at 11, and they get busy, even at 11 on a weekday! Constant flow of people in and out.. I think that speaks volumes to a new business. Oh, the music they play is totally great too! Haha but as I ate there each time I really enjoyed the music. I think the combo of good food, awesome employees, throw back music, bright and fresh colors.. make this place just stand out to me. This place is convenient for me because there's an LA Fitness in the same plaza. Every time I go to Troy gym I usually stop by and have a poke for my post workout. The restaurant has enough space to sit down and try different mix of pokes. Plenty of parking. I think it's the sauce that puts all the flavor together. You start by selecting your poke and select the many toppings available. I tried the salmon and it was good. Servers plays an important role because if you're lucky you'll get more fish than usual. This place is my newest obsession. Everything about it is so good. Been here nearly 10 times and it is always very fresh, clean, & delicious. Only had an issue with the miso soup being too watery once but it has never happened again. I appreciate how healthy the menu is and how there are vegan options. Can be pricey, especially for some add ons being over a dollar extra, however it is a nice splurge to have once in a while! Parking is easy and staff has always been very friendly as well! read more

My husband and I stopped by this new poke restaurant on Saturday. The staff was really friendly and helpful and helped us select two of the most delicious poke bowls I have ever had. I ordered the spicy tuna bowl with white rice, spicy tuna, avocados, cucumbers, sesame seeds, pickled ginger, roe, and their delicious house sauce. My husband ordered a similar bowl but selected Ahi tuna and topped his with fried onions. Both roles were absolutely outstanding with extremely fresh sauces. I also appreciated the fact that they allow you pretty much unlimited toppings. If you things are an up charge that would definitely be considered premium items like a half of an avocado and spicy crab salad, but most items are absolutely included. I chose the spring mix , with the large i got the choice of three proteins I chose ahi tuna , crab and Hawaiian salmon. Then I had vegetables to choose from I got watermelon radish, cilantro, red onion , green onion and cucumber. You get choose a sauce I had the sesame ginger. The fifth and final was the topping I had sesame seeds. This was all mixed in a bowl. A very attractive bowl of food. The flavors were fantastic. The best part it didn't get drowned by the sauce a perfect amount was added. The staff in there were super friendly and helpful. They asked if I wanted to try anything before I preferred it. I arrived at 11:30 A.M and since the parking area is so small, I had to walk quite a distance. It was slow when I came but by noon, it was packed and the line was out of the door. I created my own bowl and had a 30% off coupon by the app FiveStars, which took $3.50 off my total bill, which was nice. I ordered the regular size this time and it didn't fill me up like the large did last time so I probably wouldn't get a regular size again.
