    Just a little Sushi
    Amy W.

    I have been craving sushi! So when my son said he wanted some as well, I was super excited! Sushi date? Yes please! I love spending quality time with him! So we bonded over Sushi. This place came highly recommend by my favorite foodie, so I knew it would be high quality! I may have gone a tad overboard with now much I ordered but we were not disappointed. We ordered 8 shrimp, 8 crab, and 8 salmon. My son's favorite was the crab and mine was the shrimp. We started with Meso soup which was a first for my 16 year old. He loved it! The service was great and the place was clean. It was quite busy for lunch! We are already talking about what we will get when we come back. We did go a little overboard as we returned home with 5 left over Sushi. But I love a midnight snack!

    Great place and staff!! Highly recommend!

    Delicious sushi's and even better cheesecake. We were there for my son's birthday, sushi was great, the service was amazing and she surprised him with the most delicious cheesecake. Thank you!

    We got takeout; I ordered some nigiri and gyoza on top of some specialty rolls. The nigiri was fresh, salmon and the yellowtail were especially great! The pictures from yelp all looked so amazing, so I hope the next time I try it, I'm in the restaurant. The red dragon roll was good, not great. The firecracker roll was my favorite from this bunch. There are a ton of intriguing rolls I'm looking forward to.

    I've ordered out here a time or two, overall decent. The service is great, the workers I've met are very kind and efficient! The restaurant is smaller but I liked the decor. The sushi, however, is just decent. It's not bad in a pinch but I've defiantly had much much better. I also noticed almost every sushi had cucumber and/or cream cheese, personal preference but I'm not a huge fan of either if the sushi isn't super well made- they do let you take it out though which is great. I haven't had anything but their sushi.

    Open until 9:45pm on a Saturday. It's located at the Cherry Creek corporate park. It's next to Starbucks. We ordered two house salads, lobster delight, crunchy california, no masago, fiesta, under the sea, no masago. Miso soup is complimentary. The house salad isn't too bad, dressing was alright, watery, not very gingery. The miso was decent. The sides of sriracha is $0.75 each, expensive for the small condiment. The fiesta is the best of the 4 rolls. It's a huge bite of a roll too. The crunchy california isn't special, no so crunchy at all. The under the sea is okay, nothing special either. The lobster delight could be better, it tastes like a burnt roll from the torch for sure. Service was good. Staff are all nice. Heidi was attentive. The manager also checked up on us as well. We both liked the fiesta roll the best out of the 4 rolls for sure. The total bill was $59.74 and the $1.50 for two small ramekins of sriracha listed. Kind of cheap to charge for sriracha when we don't use any soy sauce at all. That's why the tip is less when we get nickel and dimed for sides of sriracha. We could have brought a bottle of our own then.

    So many great things to choose from and the portions were large so we ended up with leftovers to bring home - which normally never happens with Sushi!! They have a nice dining room area and we felt safe during the COVID-19 situation. Employees all wore masks and guests must wear masks when walking around in the restaurant. It's small and cozy. It seems like they do a good carry out business too - so it took a little while to get our food. It was worth the wait.

    Large variety of always fresh rolls. Very friendly staff. Very quick service. Table layout is more suited to parties of 4 max.

    Love their sushi! Bit overpriced but good. Just don't get the rolls with cream cheese bc that's not real sushi!

    It was subpar sushi. The put soo much rice to maximize their profits which took the fun out of the food

Then the bento box was good it came with 4 pieces of sushi, fried zucchini (I think it was zucchini), fried shrimp, a fried slice of sweet potato, a spring roll, white rice, and beef with white and green onions. The bento was really good. The inside of the restaurant was really nice and decorated with more dim lighting. The servers were really nice too. They came to the table several times and took trash and our dirty plates away. I will note that they do have hot green tea and miso soup that are not on the menu (at least I didn't see it) so those are options to get too even though the are not on the menu.

The space is inviting and dimmed for a romantic atmosphere and the service was attentive and friendly. We shared a bunch of things and not only did everything taste fresh and amazing, but also was plated beautifully! The veggie tempura was lightly battered and crispy and the shrimp fried rice was so flavorful. We shared the berry good, king salmon, spider, and tiger rolls! They were all so good! I was skeptical about the berry one with tuna and strawberry together... SO glad we tried it!! A such a unique flavor combo with a little spicy kick! All of our food came relatively quick and we really enjoyed our experience!

The place is clean and well decorated albeit a bit dark inside for the middle of the day. Our server was cassandra and she was wonderful throughout our lunch. My friend isn't well versed on sushi, and I tend to be a bit more knowledgeable so between myself and Cassandra we helped them out ordering. What I really liked was their lunch specials they have Monday through Saturday for a wonderful price. I got the basic lunch box which came with salad, miso soup, 5 nigiri and the chefs choice on sushi rolls. For $17, I got a ton of food! The food itself was really generous and freshly made. I did dock a star for two seperate reasons. First, the menu was impossible to read due to the extremely small font and dark lighting. We had to use the flashlights on our phone to read the descriptions. Second, the crab rangoon was good, but could've been better. Did I like it? yes. Could it have been larger and less overcooked tasting? Also yes. Prices are competitive here and I'd like to go back and try the hibachi if possible. Overall a great experience and the meal was tasty.

    I was very disappointed with my experience at this Japanese bistro…read more First and LAST time eating here.... I found a hair in my food, which immediately ruined my appetite and raised concerns about cleanliness. The steak & chicken were BOTH extremely tough and difficult to chew. For a restaurant serving premium cuts of meat, I expected much better quality and preparation. To make matters worse, the portion was underwhelming--We received only about five small cubes of steak, & chicken - which did not justify the price or meet my expectations. Overall, the food quality, portion size, and cleanliness fell well below what I expect from a restaurant advertising premium ingredients. Unfortunately, I won't EVER be returning and cannot recommend eating here based on this experience. {7.26.26}
