Shawarmas are some of my favorite foods so I had to check out Wrap It Up Shawarma. And the verdict? Such a great place to eat! The menu has a great variety but you can't go wrong with the gyro. We got gyros (Greek style) and they were delicious and very generous with the portions. The tzatziki tasted authentic and the fries were perfectly crispy. I also love that they offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery, making it super convenient. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more. Definitely recommend! read more

I was looking for a fast food dinner place and saw this small restaurant. I ordered a chicken gyro which cost 15 bucks after the taxes were added, prices have gone up on everything. The poor lonely guy who was working the register and making the food was busy. After 15 minutes I received my order and it was a big gyro topped with fresh crispy fries. I've always been a fan of shawarma and I've had my share of really good ones and mediocre. This place serves really good shawarma. I love the beef and so does my kids. The people are nice and very accommodating. The location may be in an odd spot especially in Glendale where parking is such a hassle but this place is definitely worth your efforts. Check them out! I had a specific craving for shawarma and fries on a rainy weeknight at 8:30 pm. After placing the online order on their website, it was ready in about 20 minutes. The employee at the register was polite. The small Beef Gyros Shawarma Plate ($17.99) was actually quite large! I got full after eating only half. As mentioned, I chose the french fries instead of rice. The thick crinkle-cut fries were very crispy and a touch salty. I found the beef flavorful, but not as juicy as I hoped. I enjoyed the generous drizzle of creamy, garlicky sauces that had a similar mouthfeel to nacho cheese. The side of hummus was very good: rich, creamy, and smooth. I appreciated the fresh simplicity of the herbed salad, which consisted of crisp cucumber, tomato, and diced red onion. The borderline blandness of the vegetables balanced out the salt and grease on the rest of the plate. My least favorite item was probably the pita bread. It was just okay - thin and cold. read more

I can't say Enough Good Things about this place. The Food is Fresh & cooked Well. It may be a short wait but when the Food comes it's Delicious.! Let me start by saying perhaps my first visit may of been a miss on an item I ordered. However, I could not stop thinking about that garlic sauce. It is that MEMORABLE! It's so delicious that it's on my cravings list. The garlic sauce has a light and airy texture that melts in your mouth like butter, with a pop of garlic that engulfs your entire mouth. Masterfully crafted garlic flavor and smooth silky texture. I decided to pair this sauce with fries. The fries are straight from the fryer. Hot and crispy. It's a delightful combination and the flavors marry well together. Now, if you compare to the traditional disco fries concept, then this must be the Studio 54 of disco fries! Definitely a must try! There are 2 sizes and I got the large size because this sauce is a regular condiment in my fridge. I just transported the sauce into a mason jar. It is versatile and will uplift and enhance any dish. So darn DELICIOUS! I would recommend enjoying this disco fry idea at the restaurant because the fries are fresh from the fryer and best hot and crispy. So delicious! Really tasty fast-casual at a decent, if not cheap, price. My wife and I were craving shawarma, and this was one of quite a few in the Glendale area. Menu had plenty of options, and I liked that they had combo options as well as a fiery house sauce. I did takeout so can't really speak to the service, but they do have the tip option for takeout which is a sore spot for some people. Generally though it was a great experience. Today was my first time coming and I was very hopeful. I love rice dishes as it reminds me of Philadelphias food scene. The Halal cuisine, Indian cuisine, just a variety. I was greeted by a very kind gentleman and very enthusiastic about seeing a new customer. We had a nice chat and I wish I could've tasted the food there just to tell him how AMAZING the food was. Although it was empty upon first glance I still made my way inside this nice small but spacious restaurant. I will return especially since I will be starting Nursing school down the street and possible eat here almost everyday. That's how good it was. I hope when I return this Thursday he has Tzatziki! I hate writing bad reviews. Went on a Saturday night. $50 for two for a quick-serve restaurant? Ok, the food better be good.... The food was really bad. The beef shwarma was dry and didn't have that signature taste, and it was drowned in cold sauces. The rice was dry, the hummus was thin (as if from a can) and the salad wasn't fresh. The chicken curry was overly flavored. The pita bread was dry. On the plus side, the place was clean and the service was friendly. And the yogurt/dill drink was good. Came in around 11:30 to try this place out. I had no clue what I was getting, so I went with a Chicken Curry Bowl and a Fries It Up with Beef. Was told by Ravi that it would be about 10 minutes. I always appreciate a heads up if an order will take a bit longer. The fries were a bit intimidating at first. At first glance, I saw the beef, onions, cilantro, and sauce, but no fries. I also want sure if it was going to be spicy or not. First bite, there's a sweet and savory profile that goes very well with the fries. The beef was just right and I was immediately satisfied. I peered to side and took some of the house sauce, adding a few drops to the food. It didn't look that spicy and I was right. There is a smooth and sweet spice that blends so well with the dish. The curry now. I had never had non-Eastern nor non-South East Asian curry, so I was unsure of the expectations. It is a light curry that accentuates the chicken. I'm fairly sure it's white meat, but it was not dry at all. It has the right amount of sauce and goes down really well. All in all, loved this meal. I have leftovers and plenty to share. That's one thing I'll add. It may look like a small dish, but it's perfect for sharing with someone. Ravi was great at making this meal and his customer service was awesome. I often have a hankering for shawarma, and unfortunately around LA there aren't many super great options, but luckily Glendale has some very good spots. Wrap It Up Shawarma is one of them! I stopped by during a weekday, and there was no wait. I ordered the beef gyros wrap, which at around $17 seemed steep until I saw the size of it, it's massive! It was tasty, and made to order just like you would expect. The meat is juicy with generous portions, and all the normal fixings and sauce options inside. Yesterday I got the '12 inch Chicken Shawarma wrap and two Lamb Gyros and let's just say I want to go back again today. The '12 inch Chicken Shawarma wrap is honestly big enough for two people. Ate half of it yesterday and couldn't wait to wake up and eat the other half today. The hot sauce they have on the side is just so perfect it has a nice kick of heat to it which I am a big fan of. The restaurant is a casual, clean spot and has a welcoming environment. Service was attentive and friendly. Our salad was fresh and delicious and the meal portions were large and plentiful. Good hearty sized plates but low on taste and quality. Unfortunately, the pita was one of many low points. The pita arrived cold and slightly stiff, not warm and soft as we'd hoped. It lacked the toasty, chewy texture that makes pita so comforting and effective for scooping up dips and bites. Another low point was that our rice was barely warm, almost cold. Not good. The worst part of our meal had to be the hummus. It was almost frozen and tasted as if it was just scooped out of the freezer. Terribly disappointing.
