Amos is amazing! He was upfront and honest about the whole process. We test drove a Ford Bronco and loved it! He was able to answer all of our questions and made sure we got the best bang for the buck. He didn't pressure or do the typical "salesman" act on us. There was a recall that prevented us from purchasing same day but kept us updated every chance he could. Once the recall was completed and clear for purchase, he called me right away (8am) to let me know and I rushed right over! The building is clean and quiet, which I like, and all the staff that walked by were friendly and kind. Financing department was great and quick to verify and address any questions or concerns I had. They even do DV/MH tags too which is amazing. Saves me a trip to the DMV! Best car buying experience I ever had. AND they got me a great price for my trade in! On 16, October 2023 I took my 2018 Ford explorer to Wray Ford for the internal water pump leakage. I picked the vehicle up on the 26, October 2023, parked the vehicle until the next day, around 12 noon I decided to drive the vehicle to the post office approximately 3 miles from my residence and upon starting the vehicle I hear the chain rattle in the engine " indicating low oil pressure" and a leftover bolt that did not get placed back on the engine. After a brief inspection I discovered where the bolt belongs. The vehicle is just above 54,500 miles, and there of course was NO timing noise present to opening the engine, and the timing chain noise has gotten progressively worse. Car dealerships only uses blended engine oils, I've only used full synthetic oils as the manufacturers recommend, and the performance is far better with synthetic oil. I am a hands-on Mechanic for more than 40 years and have full knowledge of on-board system diagnostic second generation, OBD2. It's quite clear that workmanship is the culprit. The gentleman in the service department that received my car for the water pump repair whose name I'll not mention at this time has suggested I bring the vehicle back to Wray Ford on Monday November 6, to revied and possibly correct what was overlooked during the original repair. I think I took my truck to the service department 10/14/22 because I had been smelling coolant inside the cab (they replaced the heater core about a year ago). The service advisor (Kyle) said I'd have to leave it because it would take time to look at it. I returned on 10/19 and spoke with Kyle again to have him write up a ticket. Again I told him I had a coolant smell inside the cab, had had to add coolant and I also needed the fan belt replaced. I called late the next day to check on my truck and found out I'd been handed over to another service adviser (Carl). Why I don't know and don't really care. I just wanted my truck fixed. Carl told me the mechanic had driven the truck and didn't smell anything and checked for a leak but couldn't find anything. He did say they had replaced the fan belt. I told him I didn't see how he couldn't smell anything and he said he would have it checked again in the morning. I then called back and asked to speak to the service manager. I ended up getting a voice mailbox with no name. I left a message with my name and number. Apparently he was gone for the day because I didn't get a return call. I called this morning (10/21) and was greeted by a woman laughing like she'd just heard the funniest thing ever. After she finished laughing I asked to speak to the service manager. I was transferred and somebody in service picked up. I asked for the service manager and was told he was not there. I asked to speak to a general manager and was placed on hold. After being on hold about four minutes the guy picked up and said the manager was in the shop and he was transferring me to him. After several rings with no answer a voice mailbox answered. I called back again and asked for Kyle in service, was transferred and Carl answered. I told him I wanted them to stop doing anything with my truck that I didn't want them doing anything further with it that I was coming to pick it up. Even though they were supposed to be checking the truck again he quickly told me "No problem, I've got the keys with me right now." I told him that didn't surprise me as they were supposed to be looking at it again. He did remind me that they'd replaced the fan belt and owed $163 (I think). Of course that wasn't tax or labor. I get the feeling since this would have been covered under warranty and they weren't going to make money off of it they weren't going to do anything about it. Also, when I picked my truck up Carl told me they'd pressure tested the line and found nothing wrong. This was about two hours after I told him to leave the truck alone I was coming to pick it up and he told me they hadn't looked at it this morning. So now he was telling me they'd pressure tested the line which was the first time I heard that. I don't believe this was done. Something they were making money on they got right on. This was nothing but a shit show from the start. I would advise anyone to take their vehicle to another shop or dealership because you wont get anything but high blood pressure from this place. read more

Everything, service is awful, any time you take any vehicle there for repairs takes forever and is never done right

We purchased a 2020 passenger van. The problem started two months after purchase. Unfortunately, the dealership where we bought the van, WRAYFORD, provided very poor service and said they were unable to fix the problem after multiple attempts. The van has been unreliable, not starting multiple times and causing us to have to rent other vehicles and park the van for 1 year, going back and forth. We also purchased an extended warranty to no avail. After seeking help from ROUNTREE FORD, Shreveport branch, they found the issue but are now asking for payment for repairs that should be covered under the extended warranty that we purchased, which covers electrical work. As a Bishop and community leader running a non-profit organization helping disadvantaged youths with limited resources, we cannot afford these additional costs. We purchased the van with contributions from our community and kindly request that Wray Ford take responsibility for their product and consider a buyback option. Quite literally the worst experience I've ever had. Took my vehicle in for an oil change on Friday, Saturday morning I went to pop the hood on my vehicle and it wouldn't open. This is a 2019 with routine maintenance. Called Saturday no one was there to speak with. Called again first thing Monday and they refused to look at it but said I could have Hyundai call them after it was looked at for the cause. Hyundais service manager called to explain it was in no way due to wear and tear and that whoever did it pulled on the latch too hard and broke it. Austin the service manager at ford yelled at the Hyundai manager, wouldn't allow him to speak, then said they weren't paying and hung up. Where to begin.... So I brought my car in for a simple clip replacement on my clutch master cylinder.. ended up needing a slave cylinder as well (which requires a transmission removal) and that was no big deal.... In the 3 week period my car was in the shop, my advisor (Kim) called me a total of 2 times. When I called she had no time estimates and no answers to any of my questions. The service manager took over and that's the sole reason I'm not putting one star. only problem I had with the service manager, was the up selling. I added a clutch because it made sense while the transmission was out... but a master cylinder was added to my ticket without my knowledge and when I got my car back it looked like it was prepped for extra work that didn't get my "okay." I purchased a 2017 F-150 from Wray Ford. Our salesperson Karen was friendly, polite, and most importantly knowledgable. I personally hate dealing with salespeople because I was one for a time, and I know that often it just comes down to making money at any cost. It was refreshing to not feel pressured to buy something on the spot. We went over a number of trucks, looking at the different options, engines, etc. We thanked her and went home to think about it for a couple days. When I called Karen back she was obviously happy to have the sale, but she continued to make sure everything was great for us. The paperwork was done within about two hours, and all of the staff was very friendly and down to earth. Poor customer service. I left my truck for three days to fix the glove box and still was not fixed.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership (and I have had some terrible experiences). My truck was in the shop for TWO MONTHS, I was repeatedly lied to by "my" service advisor, Austin (the service ticket says CHARLES WILLIS). Thank God, my truck was under warranty, but being in a rental for two months costed me THOUSANDS of dollars. Austin's communication skills were atrocious. I was put on hold dozens of times, I was repeatedly hung up on, no one could ever give me a straight answer about anything, I asked for numerous call backs (which I never received, which Austin repeatedly had to apologize for). I got accused of recording Austin with my cell phone, which at no point in time did I do. Austin repeatedly asked me to speak to him outside (is this a standard practice, because I didn't see any other customer doing this, or was I singled out because he never could give me a satisfactory answer to my questions?). I bought my first truck from Wray, twenty years ago, but I'll never do business with them again. I was treated like a fool while I was alone, in front of other customers, and in front of my children. Wray Ford is a joke and they will not be getting any more of my money. Their employees are either incompetent, liars, or both. And this is completely unacceptable. My personal truck has been in the "shop" for 2 weeks. Stay tuned for update. Finally was able to pick up my truck, thanks to Red Auto Protection. Red Auto is the company I use for my additional extended warranty. Red Auto went the extra mile to get a power steering rack assembly since Wray couldn't find one. Then I spoke with Red Auto to confirm payment since Wray said they hadn't been paid yet. Will never use Wray service department again. I've dropped a star because whoever worked on my truck at Wray didn't put all of the inner fender liners back in. It honestly scares me that vehicles come out of there shop with parts missing. Spent all last night torquing bolts just to doulble check. Done with Wray. Never going back. read more

The service department does a decent job. Price is average (reasonable). Can be difficult to get an appointment sometimes. Repairs can occasionally have a long turn around. Haven't had much experience with their sales department, but overall a better dealership than Roundtree Ford. read more

Can not speak as far as buying a car. This is just on service department. I paid 20$ less on my oil changes at the other ford dealership. They Never have enough mechanics. Needed a new tire due to nail. Called made an appointment showed up. Tire was never ordered. I took the day off work to get this done. Came back later waited almost 3 hours for one tire. Left they never put my spare back on. Called to come back to get this done. It took over an hour just to put a spare tire back on. Always over charge for oil changes. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Went to Wary Ford on Benton Road this morning for a simple FordPass issue with my Sync 3. Pulled into the service lane and watched 6'ish service reps watch me drive in with no one else in the service lane. Waited in my car for 20 minutes and no one came out. I went in and asked the wonderful lady at the inside showroom area and I asked about the protocol to see someone in service, since all of their doors have a do not enter sign on them. She got someone out there immediately and that lady was rude and less than helpful...I was bothering her! Filled out her form and was told that I would need to leave my car for 3 days and they weren't open on Saturday and they might be able to get it looked at. Absolutely the worst dealership service center experience I've ever encountered. I'd steer clear of this place for any service activities...I'll also not buy anything from them, as this type of behavior is allowed by management and they run the entire place! PITIFUL!!! read more

Awful! I will never go there again. Service department first tried the tell me that the service I needed done wasn't covered by warranty trying instead to get us to pay for the service. Wrong! It was covered and they had to be corrected. Second, the part had to be ordered and we were never given a call stating the it was in and tried to schedule a appointment, I had to call to get it done myself. Then after months of delay we finally get it in and I wait all day to get a call saying that it was ready because I didn't want to harass them, but I finally did only to find out that it was fixed hours prior. Finally; this was suppose to be a warranty job and it was going to be covered by my warranty only to find out there was a deductible they failed to mention. Kyle is the absolutely worse at his job and does not deserve a job working with costumers. I am completely disappointed by ford and this dealership that I honestly wish my wife had a different car. If I were you, I'd try Shreveport and if that's not an option, go out of state. read more

This dealership is horrible Ford should remove their privileges of selling their products I was traveling through Shreveport with my 2016 Ford diesel truck and experience a problem I called him and talk to the service his name is Austin. Austin seem very friendly at first on the phone and said for me to bring it in first thing in the morning which I did. I drop the vehicle off at 7:30 AM as agreed at 2 PM since I have not heard back from Austin I called him he advised me they found the problem it was injector I asked him do they have the part available he said yes they will install the part today. At 5:45 PM I called Austin to check on the status he advised me at this time that he would have the mechanic begin working in the morning on the truck I went to the dealership the next morning at 8 AM the truck has not been worked on as of yet I waited till 9 AM to find my truck no longer in the shop but sitting out in the parking lot. I went and talk to Austin and this time he notifies me that they do not have the correct part and would not be able to get it until Monday. Now I am stuck in Shreveport for two days and going on four days. I went to another dealer and they got it repaired. My advice to anyone out there not to ever go to wray ford in Shreveport Louisiana and definitely do not have any contact with Austin since he is such a liar. read more

I just had the most horrible experience at this dealership. I went in a purchased a vehicle on april 1 and our sales guy Busto was AWESOME however the finance rep Jimmy Burton is completely unprofessional and rude!!! He became upset after I question him about the terms of my purchase as the paperwork didnt match what we discussed. After I asked for an explanation I was treated like garbage. He became loud and belligerent with me and my fiance over the phone after all my fiance said was Mr. Burton was that was not we discussed. He then told my fiance I'm not gonna talk you, you don't even have credit(my fiance was not signing or co signing my loan) hung up in his face and slide my phone across the table like it was trash. It was then I got up from my chair and walked next door and spoke with the other finance mgr who made it right. I purchased a 2016 Explorer in June. The glove box started squeaking about 2 weeks after purchase. It is very irritating and distracting. I have had it in 3 times and it continues to squeak. I am in the market for another vehicle...it will definitely NOT be a Ford!!! I am seriously thinking of using this 2016 Explorer as the trade in on the new vehicle and keep the 2000 Town & Country van that I had originally planned to trade in! I have never left a bad review on anything..ever. But I have to let people know. I had to have my 2016 F-150 towed to Wray. First, they charged me $78 to pull the truck from the back of the parking lot, where roadside assistance left it, to the service department. I had to pay for that. Next they told me they found a short in the audio wire I had an audio company install. They said that voided my warranty. OK..I can understand. I told them the audio place should cover it and to wait until I called them back after I called the audio company. When I called back, they had already started work and had cut the wire. I told them the audio company wanted a picture and they admitted they should have taken one. Now it's Wray's word against the audio company. Neither will pay and I am left owing $328. We have bought a lot of Ford products but will definitely rethink buying Ford again simply because of this experience. This service department will not even think about working with you. read more
