A HIDDEN GEM ON WHEELS!! Greeted with a warm smile and lots of options. A charming set up where you can see she care's about every detail. The menu offer's something for everyone from bold to sweet coffee's... and be sure to try her seasonal drinks! What really set's this place apart though, is the vibe. Friendly service and a great conversation hits different. Absolutely worth the stop. Support local, sip happy... This is one mobile coffee shop you'll be chasing down again and again!

    Tasty coffee with friends!

It is futuristic without being cold, elegant without trying too hard. Of every LUX I have visited, this one feels the most like a hidden gem. The staff welcome you with a kindness that cannot be designed into a building. It lives in the way they remember your order, answer questions with patience, and make space for everyone at the table. As someone who is gluten and dairy free, that kind of thoughtfulness never goes unnoticed. Different milk options and a willingness to accommodate make this little café feel even more like home. The soundtrack deserves its own applause. Walking in to hear Studio Ghibli melodies drifting through the room made the whole experience feel cinematic, as if a gentle breeze from another world had slipped through the front door. My lavender latte was delicate and comforting, floral without losing the warmth of coffee. The matcha with peach syrup was equally memorable--a drink that somehow tasted like spring finding its way into a cup. My mom enjoyed her Americano and pastry, proof that sometimes the classics are all you need when they are done with care. The art covering the walls, the copper glow of the hanging lights, the soft pink chairs, and the gentle hum of conversation create an atmosphere that asks nothing from you except to slow down. Bring a book. Put on your headphones. Sit with someone you love. Or simply sit with yourself. In a world always asking us to hurry, LUX Max Annex is a quiet rebellion. A cozy escape tucked inside the bustle of Scottsdale, where beautiful drinks, welcoming hearts, and thoughtful details remind you that sweetness still exists in ordinary days. Some places serve coffee. This one serves a little more hope with the foam.

This location is quite a large one with quite a bit of seating along with an organized line area to go upon arrival. I recently joined the loyalty program and tried something new this time. I was delighted by my visit. When I first walked in, I saw quite a number of customers deciding what to order while a number of them were already in line. There were also a number of employees working behind the registers helping customers. I walked around and looked at the self-serve section, the options behind the counter, and the menu. I decided to order a sourdough turkey melt. It came out nice and toasted and quite tasty. There was a wait until it was ready, but that was to be expected as it was weekend lunch-time. The employees were so helpful and walked me through how everything worked and how to come back and take advantage of special offers. I haven't had a crepe in a long time so was excited to have one. I parked in the parking garage nearby and it was a short walk over here. The space is large with lots of indoor seating and a nice, spacious patio. Would love to take advantage of that when it cools down, though they do have misters. There was only one person when we arrived, but a large party and other small groups came in afterwards. We perused the menu for a bit and went to order at the counter. There are a lot of options but I went with a classic: Nutella and strawberries ($13.25). The gal ringing us up was friendly and took care of us. You can enter your phone number to sign up for their rewards program, which gets you $5 off your next purchase. We got a number card and grabbed a table against the wall. Our waters and latte came out pretty quickly, and it didn't take long for our food to arrive afterwards. The presentation of the plates is lovely and appealing. I enjoyed my sweet dish; the tart strawberries were a nice complement to the rich chocolate Nutella, providing a balance of flavors. I finished my food and it was surprisingly filling. Multiple staff checked in on us throughout our meal which was nice. Overall, this was a great choice for breakfast and I hope to come back in the future.

I had no idea they were open that late! What a charming place. It wasn't very busy, which I'm assuming was because it was dinner time and perhaps not everyone realizes they are open that late. The menu offers so many options that it was honestly hard to decide, everything looked delicious. Since it was dinner, we chose savory crêpes, but the sweet crêpes looked fantastic, and the breakfast crêpes (served until 3pm) look great too! I ordered the Nordic Crêpe, filled with smoked salmon, dill sour cream, capers, scallions, pickled red onions, and lemon. It was served with a side salad of baby greens. I enjoyed it and thought the flavors worked well together. I would have liked a little more filling, but overall it was a good meal, and I especially enjoyed the fresh side salad. My daughter ordered the Truffled Caprese Crêpe with mozzarella, basil, cherry tomatoes, and truffle oil. Hers was absolutely delicious, and I would definitely order that one myself next time. My friend chose the Cali Truffle Crêpe, which came with turkey, mozzarella, bacon, truffle oil, basil, cherry tomatoes, and spring mix. She ordered the avocado and jalapeños it comes with on the side. She had mixed feelings about it. The bacon seemed to overpower the other flavors, and she didn't get much of the truffle taste she was expecting. For drinks, my daughter had the Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte and loved it. I ordered the Spritz à Paris, made with Prosecco, orange bitters, and sparkling water. It was light, refreshing, and paired nicely with dinner. I loved the beautiful chandeliers and the overall atmosphere of the space. They also have an outdoor patio that would be nice during the fall and winter months when the weather is cooler. We had a lovely experience and will definitely be back. Next time, I want to try the breakfast menu and one of the sweet crêpes. I also have my eye on their frozen mimosa!

Especially in mid February when the weather is very cool and mild. Made the ambience feel a bit melancholy. Staff is friendly and efficient. I especially like that you can check in online before you arrive so wait was minimal, a few minutes. The menu has lots of great options. I ordered the salmon Benedict. I give it 3.5/5 stars because the bread was cold and not toasted at all. I expect the bread to be toasted in a dish like that, it made the experience less tasty, plus it was bland and needed salt and pepper. An easy fix. My husband enjoyed his chimichurri steak and eggs dish. The only complaint is the actual dishes, the inside of our mugs looked questionable and he had to get a new one it was dirty inside. Then my plate looked like it had small dried on food. It looked washed but needed a better wash. I don't think I would go back here. Because there are other breakfast spots with better ambiance and food was mid. Plus the questionable cleanliness of dishes. Staff was great though.
