Regardless, no explanation was given. Outside of a toasty restaurant, Mesquite looks like your typical fast casual restaurant. Not terribly friendly but service isn't a big part of the experience. Drinks (3.5/5): I went with one of their fresh lemonades which I'm always about. They also have smoothies, but they're a bit pricey. So I went with the more affordable choice. Outside of that, your typical soft drinks. Food (3/5): I went with a couple of tacos to get a good variety (steak, chicken, and barbacoa). For some meats, including the steak and chicken, you have to pay an upcharge. The meats are mesquite grilled which gives them a bit of a smoky flavor. If you order three or more tacos, you get rice and beans for free. Score! While Mesquite has some kinks to work out, my meal was solid. They have a special Taco Tuesday deal if you're looking for a discount.
