I love this WSS. It is in Lynwood, which is a drive for us, but we go to this one because of their great customer service. We were there on March 4, 2018 and were helped by a great employee named Esmerelda. I think she could see I was having a few issues trying to get my special needs grandson to be still for shoe fitting. She came up to us and just started helping, finding shoes, getting them on my grandson, talking to him, keeping him busy, and just being a great support. Because different makes of shoes can be oddly sized, we ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes, in different sizes. They fit him perfectly with just a little room to grow. I would not have been able to get through this without her help. The selection is great and the place is spotless and organized. Parking is a breeze on their lot. You are greeted as soon as you walk in. Now, that is nice. Check out was great. Esmerelda got the shoes together and helped us pick socks while I was in line. To keep my grandson occupied she showed him a ball, which we ended up buying. At check out, our shoes were checked again by the cashier (#012020 5:02:57pm) and he asked if we needed anything else and wished us well. What a great experience. read more

Why does store pick up take so long? Why does WSS offer this service if it's an inconvenience to their employees? If you place an order expect to pick up towards the end of the night or the next day , I had a recent pick up did not get email for a couple hours called store and very rude employee said they don't even have the product in store and they would need to cancel the order I got a confirmation for it about 3 hours later , the employees here are very lazy! If I could give this place a 0 star I would. I placed an order for pick up for a Christmas present for my dad. WSS confirmed my order, took the money out of my bank account and sent the order to this store for pick up since it was said this store had the shipment available for pick up. I got 3 confirmation emails and emails saying my order was ready for pick up. When I get to the store, the employee said she was having a hard time fining my order and asked for assistance from other staff. I showed proof of confirmation and all the emails they had sent & even saw my item behind the counter. It was frustrating but I understood with it being the holidays. Everything got worse once they called the manager, Irene. Irene did not come to speak to me first and instead spoke about me to the coworkers and asked "is she even in the right store? Did she even pay for the item?". She then came to me with an attitude saying she had no idea where my order was and had no explanation for why it's not there. When I pointed to the merchandise behind the counter she said those weren't for me. I told her how unfair it was that other people had their merchandise ready for pick up and mine was nowhere to be found even though it was paid for, confirmed, and "ready for pick up". All she kept saying was that she had no idea what to tell me and kept insisting to buy a different item or get a refund. I told her I didn't want any of those options & wanted the item I had already purchased. She was NO help and made the situation worse. Went to buy Nike Vapor Max Plus and the worker only let me try one shoe at a time. Even after telling them that I want to purchase they made me wait in line with no box as it was given to the other employee cashier to hold on to until purchase. This is racial profiling and will not be tolerated lightly. Another customer was handed a pair of shoes without any policy of one shoe only. I noticed that the employees and managers make up there own rules when it comes to policy, I bought a pair of Nikes they didn't fit very well so I decided to try and exchange, but the opening morning employee, she gave me a hard time because I didn't have the shoe box that it came in, also stating, and I quote, I don't have time for this shit, is the response I receive. There's no where in the policy that states that a person needs to have the box for a return or exchange after reading the policy to her, she argued me down for a while giving in, finally giving me a desired refund because she called her manage, then they advised her to give me my money back. She was very unprofessional and rude, and this whole not having a box situation was pointless, I paid for shoes, not a used box. read more

Don't order from this company! I ordered a pair of Adidas online and they were too big, so I called to start a return. The customer service rep was friendly and told me they were mailing me a return label. The label never arrived so I called again. Apparently they emailed a return label, and since more than 30 days had passed since my order, they refuse to exchange or return. I spoke with a "manager" who kept repeating that they emailed a label and that there was nothing else they could do to help. I explained that there was a miscommunication and I had been waiting on the return label to arrive, but to no avail. Clearly I will NEVER place an order with this company again. Customers are much better off spending money with reputable companies who value customer service. I went in to buy work shoes specifically steel toed because unfortunately this is the only store around me that sells them. I used the shoes one time for a little under 3 hours and the laces snapped, doing light work. I contacted customer service and they basically said they can't do anything about it and I need to contact the store manager. They didn't even try to help me. I called the store multiple times and no answer. I spent a lot of money for bad quality shoes and I can't be refunded because they need to be "un used". So disappointing :( shop at a shoe store with reasonable policies, not ugly places like this who won't take accountability or offer support for defected shoes. read more

I ordered a pair of crocs online and received the wrong style of shoe, No big deal but when I called the store and told them what happened I got the worst customer service. I simply asked the manager if they even had the shoe I wanted in stock. He then put me on hold and never came back to the phone. I gave him the benefit of maybe they were busy. But after trying to call a few times an hour later no answer, then the next day they don't answer the phone. I ordered from the website and was sent the wrong size despite emailing customer service immediately after I placed the order and saw that the size looked wrong in the order confirmation. I was assured that the correct size would be sent. A week or so later I got my order and it was the incorrect size. I did get free returns but after waiting a week to receive the order and another week to send the wrong size back and another week to receive the correct size I am disappointed with the experience overall. The price was reasonable which is the only reason why I ordered in the first place. The replies from customer service were fast but I wish they had done more to rectify the problem. I asked for my shipping to be reimbursed or for the replacement shoes to be sent sooner but was told no. If you don't want to read the following reviews here is a summary: Customer service is subpar - go to another location where they have the time to answer questions and treat you respectfully. The reps that helped me get some shoes that were unreachable were helpful and were always available for assistance. The store was clean. Now the cashier and the doorman is another story. Your reps need to know how to handle questions and objections from customers. The cashier spoke to the customer ahead of me in an unprofessional manner. The customer had a doubt/question about a promotion and the customer objected and said thats not what the receipt says and the cashier said well it says it all right there in the receipt and just waved to us to proceed to the front counter and give her the cold shoulder. Needless to say the customer didn't leave happy. When I tried to use my student discount the cashier said you have to have a current registration sticker! WHAT?!? I told him the semester hasn't started yet and asked if he can make an exception, the answer was "na...i cant". At least be empathetic with me or ask a manager! Should I bring my school registration next time?!? How do you know my college always gives those stickers? What if they don't do that anymore? If this is just a ploy to bait your customers into your store and not honor your 10% student discount then please just do away with it. I didn't realize the $5 I would've saved on the $50 sale was a big hit to your sales goals! Last thing, as we were on our way out the store the doorman started talking in general about customers (and i paraphrase) "you see those type of customers just dont get it... Not happy at all I try to use my husband reward card with are phone number n gave them his name and they made me feel like if I was using a credit card and I was committing fraud and it was a rewards card come on now I had $10 off on my husband rewards card to use it towards the shoes I was going to buy and then for them to act like if I was committing fraud or like using a credit card like somebody else's credit card they made me feel belittled they made me feel embarrassed I even told them that I would even have my husband or my daughter take a picture of the rewards card and my husband id n for him to call them so that he could talk to them but no I was trying to reason with them and I never had any problems with any other WSS store but here they told me I had to bring my husband with me and his ID an order to use the $10 rewards discount.
