I was trying to get the car home legally without paying thousands to ship it -- something I've done with other states before. Instead, I spent months getting conflicting and incorrect advice from other tag & title places and the Maryland MVA. I was repeatedly told it was "impossible," or that only the MVA might be able to do it with long waits, appointments, and excessive hassle. Meanwhile, the car sat at a friend's house while I tried to figure out what to do. All I actually needed -- which no one else could clearly explain -- was a 15-day transit tag and the correct paperwork. Maryland Express Tag & Title was the only place that truly understood the process. When I first spoke with Kelsey on the phone, she immediately said yes and clearly explained exactly what paperwork I needed to bring. Given all the bad advice I had received elsewhere, it sounded almost too easy -- so I asked her to please confirm with a manager. She did, called me back, and confirmed again that everything would be fine if I brought the documents she outlined. When I visited the location inside the Bowie Walmart on December 10th, I worked with Michael M. and Leticia T. They reviewed everything right away, reassured me I was good to go, and handled the entire process professionally and efficiently. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, including fixing a couple of sections I had missed on the paperwork. I had set aside an entire day -- and even planned for an overnight stay if needed -- but their efficiency saved me a massive amount of time and stress. My insurance company told me that New York and Maryland are two of the hardest states to deal with, which makes their competence even more impressive. I bought an older, increasingly rare car I wanted when I was a teenager, and thanks to this team, it finally made it home. If I had called this shop first, I likely could have driven it back months earlier. Huge thanks to Kelsey, Michael M., and Leticia T. -- they absolutely deserve the recognition. I will 100% use this location again and recommend it to anyone dealing with out-of-state or private-sale vehicle paperwork. I wish they were in NY.

I actually did not know they were located so close to my home. I needed to do a title switch ASAP! The young man told me I can expect to wait "up to a month but some people have been receiving their new titles within 2 weeks". Doesn't seem so "speedy" to me. And I promise that next weekend, my title was being delivered. You do not need to go anywhere else. Maryland Speedy Tag and Title will take care of you and fast. They also "found" two broken front tie bars, TWO leaky rear shocks and they were going to include a faulty rear speaker (my pickup truck has no rear speakers!). Total value: who knows? They only wrote down the price for parts and would "explain" the rest to me. I left and only paid the $70 fee because I needed the key back.

Jimmy is always great, honest and if he can fix your problem today he does. His estimates on cost are spot on. The work is pretty good (I'm not a mechanic) and I have never had to go back and get something that was missed or not finished. The two times I needed major work the final price was less than I expected. I'm not moving any time soon out of this area and as long a Jimmy is there, I'll keep coming back.

When I arrived for that appoinment I was told I should wait for it would only take 20 minutes. After a hour and 15 minutes I asked how much longer and was told they are finishing the installation. Another 30 minutes pass and I was informed that they needed a different mirrow and woud be contacted when it the replacement would arrive. The bottom line is for a 20 minute initial installation I was at this shop 5 different days a total of over 6 hours and the job was not completed for worthless explanations; could not get it calabrated, we need another time to paint it, we are ordering a new one etc. The last visit I was told the car was being washed and it would be ready in 10 minutes - a complete lie. I asked for the manager and was told they were having problems installing it. All these visits I was misinformed, actually lied to, on the time frame to replace the mirror of which none were accurate. I left without the mirror replaced. Went to another shop, part was ordered and when it arrived, I waited while they replaced in in 55 minutes. I have used RPM a number of times with good results, but this experience could not have been any worse. ps I have never written a negative review before - but I feel this is extremely warrented.
