I could have not received worst service. I needed a side mirror replaced. I was given the cost of it's replacement and made an appointment for the new mirror to be installed. When I arrived for that appoinment I was told I should wait for it would only take 20 minutes. After a hour and 15 minutes I asked how much longer and was told they are finishing the installation. Another 30 minutes pass and I was informed that they needed a different mirrow and woud be contacted when it the replacement would arrive. The bottom line is for a 20 minute initial installation I was at this shop 5 different days a total of over 6 hours and the job was not completed for worthless explanations; could not get it calabrated, we need another time to paint it, we are ordering a new one etc. The last visit I was told the car was being washed and it would be ready in 10 minutes - a complete lie. I asked for the manager and was told they were having problems installing it. All these visits I was misinformed, actually lied to, on the time frame to replace the mirror of which none were accurate. I left without the mirror replaced. Went to another shop, part was ordered and when it arrived, I waited while they replaced in in 55 minutes. I have used RPM a number of times with good results, but this experience could not have been any worse. ps I have never written a negative review before - but I feel this is extremely warrented. read more

Upon walking inside your greeted and everything. If going thru insurance. The claims estimator comes out and looks at the car for a few mins. You sign off on the paperwork and that's pretty much it. Prior to me leaving I told them the stuff to check. I would later find out. That turned out to be a total waste of time. During the repair process they do keep you somewhat informed of the progress so that's a plus. FAST FORWARD ALMOST A MONTH LATER. Upon picking up the vehicle. It felt like a "pressured" experience. Since the car was already done. I was told if I left the vehicle there it would incur storage costs because they informed me because they're responsible for the car if anything happens to it. Now that's understandable. But we're NOT talking about a Lamborghini or Bentley here. But rather a cheap electric car. Lol. Yes I'm badmouthing my own car. So I was really rushed into picking the car up without fully inspecting it especially since they close in less than 30min that day and won't reopen until after Labor Day. Usually I NEVER EVER give in to pressure but figured I could always pursue it in the future if any issues arise since I signed the paperwork with "under duress" under my signature. Now "Cosmetically" they did a 75% good job. The front/side panel and door was fixed the guy hit and everything. But minor stuff that was LISTED on the work order as replaced was still broken such as the license plate bracket. It says REPLACED but yet it's the SAME DAMAGED ONE from the accident as well as other stuff. ???? Now for the VERY BAD. The shop fixed almost everything COSMETICALLY. But MECHANICALLY they really didn't fix ANYTHING. I now have to take the car directly to Nissan myself and waste more time on something that should have been centralized to RPM since their pre diagnostic worksheet showed error codes when they inspected the vehicle. But upon fixing the COSMETIC stuff. The OBD2 codes "MAGICALLY" fixed themselves. Which really means someone with a obd2 reader just deleted the codes and hoped they didn't reappear. Since it's a electric car they're not really equipped to work on it which sounds weird because we're living in 2021. In a couple of years most of the world will be fully electric. So if you have a fairly newer gas car or an electric car. You may definitely want to go to the dealership if you want your car fixed 100%. Overall. Probably won't bring any vehicles to RPM again. Because it's like MOLD being in a house and instead of removing the mold. They just put up new drywall. Equivalent to they fixed almost everything cosmetically but mechanically they really didn't fix anything. Unless you love wasting time at body shops and then car dealerships. I would GO ELSEWHERE. Now I have to pay OUT OF POCKET for Nissan to inspect the car and DEMAND REIMBURSEMENT from the other side's insurance company. Niceeeeeeee. NEVER AGAIN...... read more

I am only giving this place 5 stars because of Sondra and KJ. Although i have no issues with the bodywork that was done to my car, the outside is fine. My issue is with the mechanics that were in charges of making sure the wires were connected correctly. After getting my car back the LED light was not working on the drivers side. I had an appt to bring the car back. Literally the day before i was to take my car back it shut off at the light. It did turn back on, but i thought that was weird. The next day the car wouldn't come on at all. So i lifted the hood and noticed that the battery was not secured AT ALL. It was literally just placed on to on the part where it is suppose to go. I was able to push the piece down and the car started. The day of my appt for the LED light. I told the mechanic what had append and asked him to look at the battery as well. He told me that the battery and LED light had nothing to do with the other. DUH!! I'm not stupid. After he brought the car back and told me that they tightened the wire for the light. I SPECIFICALLY ASK HIM DID HE LOOK AT THE BATTERY!!! He said yeah. Everything was fine until a month or two later when guess what MY CAR WAS CUTTING OFF AGAIN! My car is new and no one has touched it besides this place so i knew the issue was with them. I called and spoke with Sondra she immediately told me to bring my car in and she would have KJ look at it. KJ actually listened to me and looked at the car unlike the previous man. He showed me exactly what the issue was, the battery had not been tighten. Even though i didn't have an issue with the body work, i should not have had to take my car back to these people not only once but twice. Moral of the story..listen to your customers even when you think they don't know what they are talking about. read more

They are thieves. If I could give a rating lower than a one star I would. Don't even leave a hair pin in your vehicle when dropping it off. They had evidence of what I had in my vehicle and claimed they didn't see their employees take anything out of my vehicle, however all of my glasses were stolen out of my truck. Why would you need to empty all the contents of my glove compartment just to look at the manual? What are you looking for in my middle console when the only thing that had to be repaired is my front bumper? I am beyond pissed off with these dis-honest people. I regret the day I agreed to use them. In addition to being robbed these owners don't even have the empathy or decency to do the right thing and reimburse me for my items. Thieves, thieves, thieves. I came to RPM for a diagnostic because I was told my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited need a new transmission. It was purchased only a few months prior to this diagnosis so I needed another opinion. Mind you I received this diagnosis from 2 places. When I came to RPM, one I was greeted with great customer service and a clean customer reception area! My service advisor Fernando Pavarin was so helpful and patient because he really wanted to diagnose and find out what the problem was. They finally located the issue that was causing the leakage and it was only a seal that had worn down towards the back end of the "oil container" (I don't know the proper name). I haven't had any issues since and it's been months! I'm so thankful that they where patient and found out the real problem my vehicle was having. I felt like they where honest and fair. They'll be servicing both of my cars from now on! read more

My fiancé and I had some body work done to our vehicle, it was smashed rear passenger side fender and rear passenger door. The insurance company found this place in laurel and they conducted all of our body work needs. The Initial person we spoke with whose name escapes me at the moment started out communicating well about the time of completion . He instructed us the vehicle was going to be done on a Tuesday which was fine , but when we called that day around 10am they said it would be ready around 3pm , when we called back around 3pm the same person said they where slightly behind schedule and they would have it finished by the close of business . When the close of business came at 5pm we called and the same person said oh well the shop is closed and you will have to pick it up in the morning . Now mind you we live within walking distance of the facility we could have been there in a moments notice , there was no regard to how we both took time off of work to be on stand by for the completion of the work in the car . It was a huge inconvenience, she and I both lost time and large sums of money from work. When we do go to retrieve the vehicle later that day we explained it to the cashier it wasn't much she could have done but I wasn't pleases at all with the lack of communication , I wouldn't ever do business there . So once my spouse got the car she drove it home parked it the next day she said that it was feeling off and she believed her alignment was off , we called the shop and they mentioned that they didn't do anything to the alignment . We inquired why wasn't the alignment checked prior and after this could have been confirmed at who was at fault from the side swipe impact . Our insurance adjuster-had to go back and forth with house of dubs to get them to fix the alignment . Once finally the alignment was taken car of, the car appeared fine and looked new and the alignment was corrected . I will say that the work done on my car was amazing. They did an amazing job repairing and painting it. It looks brand new! They also completed the job with a full detail. The only reason why they are receiving 3 stars instead of 5, is because of the last minute notifications of the delayed repair status on my car. My car was quoted to be finished on 12/5, but I received a call (on the 5th) that said it wouldn't be available until the 12th. On the morning of the 12th, I received a voicemail saying that they had just received the part that they needed, and my car wouldn't be ready until the 18th. I imagined that they were aware before the 12th, that the part didn't arrive. Why the last minute notice? On the 18th, I received a call saying that it wouldn't be ready until the 19th by close of business, because they were not quite done. On the 19th, the same thing happened. But this time it was because the guy who does the detailing of the cars did not have time to finish my car. I FINALLY received my vehicle on the 20th. Though I was extremely satisfied with the work, I was extremely annoyed by the last minute notifications on the status of my car. My beginning estimate was December 5th, but I did not pick up my vehicle until December 20th. Luckily, insurance covered most of my fees and the rental car. But I would have been infuriated if I had to pay for additional days in the rental car, with last minute,same-day notifications. Please do better with communicating with the customer AS SOON AS you receive information about the delay of a repair. I understand that things happen, but same day notification of a week long extension is ridiculous. read more

RPM did a repair on my car that was paid for by my insurance. The work they did looks perfect to me, and it was done in a reasonable amount of time, but that's not what I'm posting about. I was expecting that. They also thoroughly cleaned the car, inside and out .. every inch of the interior was spotless, and the car was not clean at all when I bought it in there. Terrible customer service and horrendous body work! I brought my vehicle to this shop because it was authorized by Geico. Big mistake! My vehicle was in the shop for almost a week and came back to me with the bumper still popping out. My vehicle then had to be put back into the shop for further repairs, wasting my time and money on rental services etc. During the second repair session I received no updates from my adjuster or RPM. I had to consistently call Geico and RPM to get simple information. I am aware that Geico is part of the issue in this case, but RPM is as well. Honestly considering switching car insurance, but that's besides the point. I'm making sure that no one uses this body shop! I should have gone to the highest rated shop in the area vs selecting RPM out of convenience and proximity to Enterprise. Avoid this shop at all costs! read more

I was referred to RPM by GEICO after getting hit from the passengers side of my car. A big Range Rover truck hit me pretty bad. Upon arrival to the center, I was warmly greeted by a sales agent who explained the whole process to me. When I aw the level of details the guys used to inspect my car, I felt confident that the repair would be done in the most professional way. Two weeks later, I was called to come pick up my car! The repair was fast and efficient. In addition, I noticed that they fixed a small piece of window frame that was missing from the window. I was impressed that they went the extra mile. I would give them a zero if I could. They are the worst. My car went in for what was to be minor repairs which took two weeks. Also, the car was to be ready at 5 PM on a Monday. I confirmed the end of the week prior that it would be ready. I was told at 4:15 PM on Monday that they knew the week prior that car would not be ready. Note, I called an hour prior and was told they were cleaning it and to call back to see if it was ready, but in an hour, it was not and the story I got an hour later was very different. Of course, they did not call me ever to say we are having a delay. I called them to discover what going on. I took off work to get the car because they close at 5 PM, and I work in DC. I reorganized my schedule to get the car. RPM took no responsibility for not telling me. This is so offensive. I will never use them again. I have no idea as to the quality of the work, but even if it were the best I have ever seen it is not worth it to me. read more

I came here because I got into a collision accident and my back bumper had been torn off. They not only replaced the bumper but they did an amazing paint job on my sliver Hyundai Santa Fe and changed my rims as well. Super super grateful and great customer service ! I will definitely come back! They are also full service. My ac is acting up and I will come back to get it serviced as well ! I believe a Jose helped me out they were very understanding and accommodating to my preferences. It was a 24hr labor job and they finished it in 5 days instead of 8days that I was quoted. After going to like 6 mechanics and auto shops to repair our sliding door that fell off the track on our Honda Odyssey, this plane took care of us. They were not intimidated with the repairs like other places. We were reassured that it could be done. They were professional and efficient. Gave us a quote and then ended up charging less than the quote. They kept communication open and answered my many phone calls because we were anxious to get the van back. At some point they ran into some difficulties and they communicated that when we called but again reassured us that it would be handled. My main complaint is that it took a while to get the parts and that could have been better communicated. Overall, I highly recommend this business. But I hope we do not need to return. I would not recommend anyone to use this body shop. This shop was recommended to me by Geico. I took my car for a paint job on September 8th. I was told it would be a 6 day repair. When I stopped by the shop on the 16th of Sept I was told by front desk girl that they had a little issue with the car, but it was resolved. She said they had to replace my battery. WHY would they need to replace my battery when the car only had 47,000 miles and had a new battery when it arrived?! I received a text message on the 19th saying my car was ready. I arrived on the 20th at 8:00 am to pick up the car. I was then told by the front desk girl that the car would not by ready until 10 because photos were needed and the car had to be cleaned, but they will try to have it ready by 9 am. I waited until 10:15 am without an update, but I noticed my hood was up in the garage. Finally, I asked for an update. Mario came out and told me the lights on the dashboard were on and they don't know what is wrong with the car. I asked would the car be ready that day, and I was told if they could figure out what was wrong with the car. AGAIN, I didn't authorize any mechanical repairs and WHY are my dashboard lights on for a paint job. I left and GEICO called to tell me they body shop blew the amplifier! Why would the amplifier be damage when only a paint job was requested. Then I was told they did not replace the battery; they only replaced the fuse to battery. So what did they actually do?! No one knows. Geico said, I could pick up my car, but there would be no sound. Why would I want to drive a car that I can't play music in or use the Bluetooth? Geico also mentioned it would take 5 to 6 days to get the part. I called on Sept 27th and was told the amplifier had not arrived from Lexus, but the car will be ready the next day. At this point, I told Mario I am not paying the deductible because they had my car entirely too long and caused mechanical damage to the car and no one can tell me what they did or why. Mario said he was speak with the manager about the deductible. I called again on Sept 30th and was told my car would be ready at 1. I arrived 22 DAYS after the initial drop off and was asked to pay the deductible. I asked why in the hell I would pay the deductible after they damage my car and they had the car for 22 DAYS FOR A 6 DAY PAINT JOB. The owner/ manager said "it is fixed isn't it?" Is the car actually fixed no one knows because I STILL DO NOT know what you all really did to the car to cause the issues. I CAN'T get a straight answer! read more

Geico referred me to RPM to fix a dent in my bumper. I'd already gotten into an accident earlier in the year and had a horrible experience with the repair shop that the insurance company sent me to, so I was not too happy about dealing with another collision shop. However, I had a great experience, from start to finish. I was given a check-in time by Geico, and once I checked in for my appointment, probably waited about 10 minutes to be seen. Edwin B. the manager explained the process from start to finish and provided business cards for basically everyone involved in the process: his card, the Enterprise car rental rep's card, and the shop manager's card. I was told that my truck would be ready in 4 business days. The Enterprise rep was ready for me once Edwin was done explaining the process to me, and she even made sure that I was in a vehicle that was similar to my own, versus the car that Geico originally told me they were giving me. The most amazing thing happened later that day; I got a call saying that my truck was ready. In ONE DAY. What?? I wasn't able to get to RPM to pick up my truck before they closed for the day, but this is unheard of. RPM gets 5 stars for excellent customer service, getting the repairs done at a crazy fast pace and doing great work. My bumper looks like it did before the accident. I recently came here to have my bumper repaired after a minor fender bender. The front desk staff was very helpful, accommodating and communicative, and the body shop employees were too. Do not use RPM Collision in Laurel for any reason. I used them as they are the closest repair location my car insurance covered after I was t-boned in a car accident. Initial repairs looked fine, but when I got home, I noticed they broke off my rear windshield wiper when they were repairing my car (nowhere near the repair areas) and didn't tell me. When I called to tell them this they said they would order a new one it should come in two to three business days and they would call me when it arrived. A week later I hadn't heard so I called them and it was in. They had me come in on Thursday and I waited for the full half-hour they said it would take to replace the whole thing only for them to say oops we got the wrong part. They said they would order the new one and I could come by Friday. I called Friday morning and they told me to come by at 3. Arrived at 2:50 and they told me I cut it too close, that they are closing at 3 p.m. Needless to say they did not close at 3 and they did put on the windshield wiper. They did not even check to see whether it functioned properly, which I could tell due to the same level of dirt on the back windshield as when I brought the car in. Please Read! I would first like to state that I would never take my vehicle to RPM Collision and Services knowingly. Progressive uses this company's services. I filed a claim on my 2013 Chevy Camaro and Progressive Insurance sent my vehicle RPM. There was minor damage to my passenger side door which then required that the door be stripped primed and painted. They used acetone to strip the paint and then buffed down the scratches. This is a tactic used with in experienced and chop shop like repairs. I returned to pick up my vehicle and my door was cloudy and you could see finger streaks and buff marks and dull ashy black paint. Progressive noted this and sent it back to RPM. RPM Then sprayed a think coat of clear coat on the door and left flakes and bubbles in the paint but they sent it back to Progressive. I get the car back and finally the door looks like the rest of the car. Now a new issue. I was instructed to go to RPM via Progressive to pick up a Passenger side mirror one thats isn't defective like the one that RPM installed. Just this pass Friday July 17, 2015 I was verbally abused and accosted by a man claiming to be the owner of the establishment. When I arrived to RPM I parked and proceeded to walk up to a man standing in a car bay, he was on the phone so to be respectful I awaited his acknowledgement. He then approaches me in a hostel manner and asked me who I would like to speak to, I said "Is Edwin available please" he then looks me up and down then asked me "What the fu*k are you doing here? " I was totally shocked, why what this man speaking to me like this I am a customer. He then precedes to yell and scream at me telling me to get out of the car bay, stating that i was not supposed to be there. There wasn't any signs posted on the outside or inside for that matter that stated no human entry. I then ask the man his name, he states that "I'm not giving you my name" then I said thats fine someone knows who you are." He then jumps in my face with in 3 inches and says forcefully with spit behind his words, "MY NAME IS PAUL AHADI AND IM THE OWNER." He intently spit in my face. I then leave only to hear him calling me a "Bitch" behind my back. This is the owner of the establishment mind you. He was demonstrating a racist like demeanor and no respect toward anyone. All while stating repeatedly that he was the owner and that I should "get the F*cK out of there" with out being serviced or spoken to like a human being with 2 Degrees and a $40K sports car that his chop shop failed to fix the first, second, third, and now forth time. I would like to formally state that I will do everything in my power to assist in removing this company from Progressives approved service center list and hope that people read this and know what to expect, and ultimately choose a service center to service their vehicles. On 02/27/2014 I purchased a 2002 Infiniti I35 from RPM Auto sale Center (RPM) in Laurel, MD. The purchase included a 30day/1000mile warranty. I was clear that I needed a RELIABLE CAR for my wife to get to and from work and to transport our two young children. My wife began to notice some jerking when trying to accelerate, so I drove it on 3/20/2014 where I experienced the same "jerking". As a result, I called RPM and spoke with PAul Ahadi and he told me to bring it in. I expressed to them that I was not satisfied having to bring them the vehicle in such a short time frame. They agreed to take a look at the vehicle and diagnosed the problem being the catalytic converter and told me they would take care of the problem free of charge. On 3/27/2014 I was able to pick up my car and it drove much better. On 04/01/2014 the same "jerking" when accelerating began to recur. As a result, I took the car to a local shop in Laurel, MD, on 04/02/2014 to have a computerized diagnostic done on the car. They concluded that there is a malfunction in the indicator lamp circuit, the check engine light was not present even when the ignition is on. The diagnostic also computed an engine code and two transmission codes. They also recommended for us to take the car to the Nissan or Infiniti dealership. In turn, on 04/03/2014 I took the car to Tisher Nissan in Laurel, MD to have a second computerized diagnostic ran on it. They found the same engine code as well as the two transmission codes and stated that they would need further diagnostics. They also found a several more issues with the car including the wrong size tires were on the car, the battery was bad and the cables were loose. They also found that the engine is leaking oil. They found that several lights were missing and/or inoperable including the check engine light, and the front and back parking lights. Most importantly the found that the catalytic converter on the vehicle is the original. On 3/26/2014 RPM claimed to be replacing the converter with a used one from a 2004 Nissan Maxima. The gentleman that went over the paperwork with me stated that he had no idea how that vehicle made past MD Inspection. RPM is a bad place to do business. They are selling vehicles that are faulty and somehow getting them to pass MD Inspection. I work hard for the money that I make and can not afford to waste it on a vehicle that is claimed to be reliable. IF YOU WORK HARD FOR YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT HAVE ANY TO WASTE. God awful service. The manager is awful and so rude. I saw the way he treats his workers and it's not acceptable. I'll take my business elsewhere. They fixed our door on our minivan that other shops were scared to work on. When I arrived there with my van, I was concerned that they were going to be another shop that would be apprehensive in working on a project cause it was the sliding door hooked up to the electrical and it's a Honda. But the shop manager came out with confidence and sounded like he had experience in dealing with this issue. I was comforted by that response.
