The coolest assortment of antiques and oddities under one roof that I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing... Just WOW. We spent literally hours perusing the various booths and displays, and there's truly something special around every little corner. If you have literally any sort of weirdo or spookster in your life, you've gotta go shopping for them at Wunderkammer. I'm so excited to go back to experience updated displays and new inventory! The owners were also incredibly friendly, and there's great value to be had at any price point.

Wunderkammer, which translates to cabinets of curiosities, is right next door to Crafted. Honestly, it's difficult to distinguish where it starts and Crafted begins. There's just a doorway there separates them from one another. I feel like it's another method of getting people to visit Crafted. However, this place is way different than next door. It's the darker side. Curiosities, strange, and bizarre. It's laid out like a museum you can shop in. There are a few separated rooms where each room is themed. One of the rooms is mostly taxidermy gone wild. Ie. Jackalopes. What's a jackalope? A rabbit with antlers. They sell a lot of art, not too ridiculously priced. They also sell antiques. Plenty of free parking. It's a shared open lot.

Very interesting store. It has a ton of ofmddities to look at and buy! If I had the money I would've bought SO many interesting objects to fill the house with. Employees are kind and willing to help out with any questing you may have. I'm looking forward to going back. I dont feel like I soaked up enough of what each vendor had to offer.

Next door to crafted art indoor shopping area. Very cool oddities and curiosities. Horror, movie memorabilia and very cool stuff! Cool place for coffee too! Plenty of parking and free just like Crafted!

Beautifully curated antiquities, art and oddities in a spectacular historic Navy hanger. Wonderfully built out spaces by the most creative vendors. Step inside and have your mind blown. Knowledgeable and friendly staff to attend your curious nature. An incredible addition to San Pedro and Los Angeles. Go see for yourself!

    Samples of vendors. So cool.

Their prices are quite reasonable. Many items are up to 80% off what you would pay for great clothes and bags. They also have some nice art now and again it is all fairly priced. This is not a Salvation Army type store, yes, all items are used, but all are designer or something you may have seen in a store. They do not have a huge vintage section and that is fine. It has just really nice things that I would end up paying a lot more for new. The service is great. The staff is nice and knows what is in the store and where. If you are looking for a nice bag, they have it or some nice clothes. I have bought a few things there and I have never been disappointed.

They took my phone number and said they would call when they found the match. I gave them my number and about a week later, they called and had found the match. I returned and bought it. Yesterday, we went there and bought a few things. Super cute stuff and fun to shop. My daughter found new Stan Smith Adidas. They couldn't sell them because they lost the key to unlock the block thing that the alarm goes off if cut. Again, I gave my number and today, they called and found the key. Went back and got the adidas.

Raggedy Threads is my favorite vintage store in L.A. - no contest. Don't let this tiny little store…read more- located in a tiny little corner of Little Tokyo - fool you: It's like a treasure trove of rare finds. I've been on a huge vintage kick lately, so this store has been my go-to source for old tees. My reasons for going vintage are primarily environmental since the carbon footprint and resources needed to make new clothes are substantial - and incredibly wasteful when there's so much awesome used clothing out there. Another reason: Your friends can't copy your style. Most recently, I picked up a few tees from the 1970s and 80s. Being in L.A. they get a lot of local and California vintage shirts with logos, designs, and jokes that only true Californians would get. I couldn't resist buying a Castroville "Giant Artichoke" tee they had over the summer. Personally, I tend to gravitate towards regional finds like these because they bring back such great memories of my youth and of family road trips up and down my home state. They also carry old college (Go Bears!), high school, and everyone's favorite - summer camp tees. Plus, you cannot beat the vintage fit from the 70s/80s. Caveat: Today's "S" is equivalent to an "M" or bigger because people were presumably thinner back then. So do your part for the environment and look effortlessly stylish doing it by shopping used and vintage! And there's no better place in L.A. for this than Raggedy Threads.
