He was more than communicative up to our appointment, arrived early, provided a free quote, and even gave me advice regarding the market on Copper Wire (which I cross-referenced and confirmed after the fact). He even went out of his way after-hours to scour a specific part we needed, and took photos to confirm fitment before committing. A better price than anyone else, faster than anyone else, full clarity regarding pricing, and some of the friendliest service I've ever experienced. Wade came as schedule as on time. He Quickly diagnosed the issue of a blown fuse and bypassed the fuse with his tool to see if the machine would come on and told me it will take a while to reset and it did. He asked me to lower the thermostat so that when it reset it would kick on. I had to go to my phone app and remove the restrictions as my thermostat was locked at 78° and that was the internal temperature of my house. At this point my thermostat was working just fine..Once the HVAC reset, it kicked on and Wade said it takes a few minutes for the fan to reboot or start. After a few minutes it still didnt come on so Wade checked a few things out, and at this point he removed my thermostat cover because he thought maybe loose wire? I don't know, then after a minute he put it back on. Then I guess he diagnosed that the coil to my outside fan went out which caused my fuse to blow. Cool, he knew the issues. Then he told me everything wrong and the cost, perfect, please fix! Then He got the unit up and running but only blowing hot air, so he came back to the thermostat and removed the cover again. He was like" oh this is the problem, your pins are broken off. He put the thermostat back on and now no power to the thermostat. He told me that this thermostat pins were broken and I told him this was the very first time anyone has worked on the unit since it was installed and it was working just fine when he rebooted the system. I told him he must have broken them off when he removed the cover and his only response was "I'm not eating it"... this was going to be a 5* review, but this just went south really fast! I kept my mouth shut once he said " I'm not eating it". After a few minutes he offered me a used thermostat from his shop and offered to install for an addition $139 service call and I stopped him in mid sentence and let him know I already ordered a new one. ( I can install it myself) The thermostat was working fine, then it wasn't? he knows he broke it, just like I know he broke it. He didn't get anything over on me. He just damaged his reputation as this same statement will go to yelp. I'm so very disappointed that a service technician who has great yelp reviews would tarnish his reputation and that of his business. There are PLENTY of HVAC repair technicians around Prescott and Prescott valley, please choose wisely... I did not He got his $356, and I spent an additional $150 to replace the thermostat. Yes he got my money, but I have a voice and people who read this review will see it's recent and that Wade lacks integrity.. My home is 5 years old, my thermostat is 5 years old.. that is not old...period There wasn't anything wrong with my thermostat as it came on JUST FINE during the system reboot. No loose wires, NOTHING WRONG. The whole point of calling a service technician was to get my system up and running.. is it? No! Wade had to turn off the circuit breakers to the HVAC system because now that the thermostat is broken, it will continuously blow hot air. Read his response below. In his own words he broke it removing the cover.. if there were loose wires, the thermostat would not have functioned and it functioned fine for 5 years. He also stated he can't be liable anytime ... he drives a work truck and if he causes damage to someone or something, is he going to say he can't be liable for it because he's on a service call? Response from the owner 20 hours ago I'm sorry but this is a complete misrepresentation of what happened. I'm sorry that during the diagnostic the existing thermostat that is not installed or serviced by me, the plastic broke on the back of the thermostat when I had to remove it and there were loose wires behind it. I can't be liable anytime. I touch a unit if things that are brittle break. If that were the case I would never be able to fix anything. And yes I did offer you a new thermostat and you've made it sound like everything was fine and we were in good standing. I responded promptly charged you fairly. I'm sorry that the coincidence of it breaking happened during this diagnostic, but the way you're painting this picture of me is also completely outrageous. And making me look like I'm a bad guy which is borderline defamation. I would be glad to discuss this with you. Hired Wurke Bettler for an electrical project to install an EV Charger of which I had already purchased separately, I was just looking for somebody to hardware the charger to the wall with a 60a breaker. Reached out here via Yelp and received a quick response of which Wade (one of the owners) came out to take a look and discuss a quote. We reviewed quickly and agreed on doing the job. The performance of Wurke Bettler was nothing short of perfect. Great communication, a fair price, and most of all the work performed (and I can tell) was done in a way in which I felt they were working on a home of their own. There was an opportunity to mount via the manufactured provided materials but they felt it wouldn't be quite as well done and I agreed. They, on their own time, ran to the hardware store to purchase the upgraded necessary equipment to do the job "right". It's hard to find good people, I'm convinced these are the right people to have working on your home. I have since discussed with them options about replacing water heater and HVAC units as well. Again, no pressure or anything oddball going on, just simply discussing the right time and place to upgrade as we move along on my needs. Needed an electrician to why there was no power at the outlets in my laundry room. A faulty GFCI was not causing the problem, or I could have fixed it myself. I needed a troubleshooter. A licensed electrician. Wurke Bettler was the first response I had to my Yelp inquiry so I scheduled a appt. Wade arrived as scheduled and spent 1 hour looking for the cause of my outage, but was unable to find it. He did however charge me the full diagnostic fee and suggested I hire another electrician to see if maybe he was missing something. To add insult to injury, he left the door of my breaker panel unlatched, and it was banging against the house all night during a high wind event. We had no idea what the noise was. I thought my roof was coming off. I called Elan Electric, and they sent Andrew out the very next day. He arrived on time and in 45 minutes he had found the problem and fixed it. It was a loose connection in the outlet box that the washing machine was plugged into. read more

Our heating went down during the holiday season. I called a number of places, but no one was available to come and fix it. Chino Valley Heating and Cooling gave me Wade's number. Wade answered the call and he was able to come and assess the issue I was having with my heating the same day. It turned out that the motor and switch in my HVAC needed to be replaced. Wade is a great communicator, he gave me updates until the project was completed. I highly recommend them for any HVAC services. My heating is now restored and my house is now warm and comfy. The short of this review is that these guys will do all my AC or electrical work, from now on. Excellent work at reasonable prices, and on time. Bill, with Wurke Bettler installed a mini-split heat pump in my garage. I am very pleased with the timeliness of their estimate, the date they scheduled the work for and their execution of the work. I contacted a couple of other companies in Prescott at the same time, to do the work. Neither showed up to give me an estimate, ohh, our guy is sick, he didn't come in, can we reschedule? Bill came by the house quickly to give me a reasonable estimate on the work, scheduled the work two weeks out, showed up on time, as promised, with a crew of two obviously experienced technicians. The three got right to work and had the unit running by mid- afternoon. I'm a retired engineer and very picky on work done to my house and cars. Ten years ago I would have done the work myself. Bill and his crew did the job, exactly as we had discussed, with excellent workmanship and attention to detail, completely to my satisfaction. Six inches of snow on the ground, temperature in the 20's and we wake up to a furnace blowing cold air. I called Wurke Bettler on Sunday morning and they PICKED UP THE PHONE. Wade arrived Monday morning early. He tried to get our get our old heater to work but it was too far gone. He rearranged some of his work for the next day and promised to make every effort to find a replacement he could install Tuesday morning. He and his crew arrived early and Mike and Kendal did the installation. They encountered a problem with our air conditioner drain and fixed that as well. They left my garage cleaner than it was when they arrived. This is the most customer oriented business I have encountered in many years. I almost never leave reviews, but this company is just great! My first experience was when my AC went out...of course on July 3rd in the afternoon. Wade actually walked me through a few things to try to get it back up and running until they could get there on the 5th. What he told me to try worked and I got AC back for the holiday and company! Then he showed up at 8 AM on July 5th and fixed the underlying issue. Next, I needed to add a plug in a pantry. They came out and provided an estimate. I waited a while to get it done because they were buried with AC service calls and I wasn't in a hurry anyway. Anthony came out and took care of that with the same customer focus. He even helped move the little freezer I had the plug put in for! Professional, on time (actually early), reasonable cost, hard workers. Our heater went out right at the end of winter (still got to 30 degrees at night) - and our home warranty company dropped the ball. After two weeks of battling them (never use American Home Shield if you live in Prescott) - I decided to just check out Yelp. Of the 3 HVAC vendors that Yelp recommended - I sent the "auto request for quote" to all three. Only Wade responded - and within 2 hours. He had given a reasonable response timeframe (this was Saturday and he scheduled for Tuesday afternoon - and he offered to do it sooner if it was an emergency). He came over, diagnosed the problem (the startup motor had failed), found the part locally, and set up a time to come back and fix it. He showed up right on time, fixed the problem quickly, charged a reasonable fee for parts and service, and was very professional and kind. In short - DO contact them.
