The place is huge! This would be great for big parties. We went on Mother's Day about 4pm, even though it was packed we got to be seated in only a few minutes. The prices were a bit expensive for the hibachi but everything else was decent. I don't really like deep fried sushi but I wanted eel so we tried the Godzilla roll. It was too mushy. 2/5 Steak/scallop/calamari hibachi was a 3/5. Pricey for what we got. Pad see ew was ok, too sweet for me, 3/5 For the most part I would probably only stick to the Chinese dishes, when it's a fusion of Asian cuisine they fall short on some of the cuisines and do better in some. We have been anxiously awaiting and have watched closely this restaurant being built. I have to say you walk in and it is enormous. Stunningly decorated and friendly staff that greets you as you walk in. We went for lunch today and struggled to limit what we would try this go around. We ordered shrimp eggrolls as an appetizer. A little strong on the peanut butter flavor and didn't really taste shrimp. I went with the shrimp and garlic stirfry that is served with rice and miso soup or an eggroll. My friend went with the cashew chicken. Both dishes had a bit of a sweet flavor to it, even though my shrimp had a little pepper symbol, indicating it was spicy, it was not. I had asked for a hot sauce and just got Sriracha. Not super excited about my food choices this time, but I will give it another try and hopefully update this review for better. This was such a great spot for dinner! The service was quick and every staff member we interacted with was helpful and pleasant. I came with my family, and we chose the hibachi side of things. It was one of the most entertaining hibachi dinners we'd ever been to! Our chef had each person at the table try to catch rice balls in our mouths, and shot sake into the mouths of those over 21. He did the classic onion volcano, sang lots of songs, and lit his hat on fire too (one of the other people at our table politely informed him his head was on fire, to which he replied "OMG - see something say something!!!") The food itself was delicious. I got the filet mignon, and it was cooked perfectly to order. The hibachi comes with soup, salad, fried rice, lo mein, whatever meat/vegetables you order, and rainbow sherbet at the end to top it all off. Of course in classic hibachi fashion you cannot finish your food, but the Togo boxes come with the checks. It is a bit pricey, but you get a little over two meals for what you order, and you're also paying for entertainment! Last thing I'll say, the decor was great. I really want to give an overall 5 stars. But I really want this restaurant to succeed so here's my honest review to help you improve. PROS: love the facility! I want to bring my family here and they will love the decorations and coi pond. They really put some love into the construction. I also loved the staff--so sweet and we had fun talking to them. I genuinely love the menu, but here's where the CONS come in: The food was OK. I personally think there's way too much food being served. The portions are just too much and you're full before you even start eating. We ordered appetizers--we won't do that again because the hibachi portions were overwhelming. We ordered the three meat hibachi (steak lobster shrimp) the lobster was WAY overcooked and inedible. I also found the food overall EXTREMELY SALTY. The next day we had issues getting our rings off our fingers. The salad dressing is amazing! If you order entrees, just know that it's buffet style like at a Chinese restaurant. And the portions could feed three people. The sushi was pretty good, I will go back and just order sushi. In all I'd like to see less food, I also think you could do away with the noodles ( hibachi) because you get rice. My last review is to get rid of the American music! I personally want to hear Japanese music. You have the building, you have the decorations, you have the food, you have the authenticity but then I heard modern Taylor Swift songs sing by random people.
