Sloooooooow service. I've been here three times now and each time the service is painful to experience. The employees seem to hate their jobs and it shows. I have gone for breakfast twice and dinner once and was even offered a coupon for my next visit because the wait for our food was over 45 minutes (2 of us, not a group). Just a warning if you like to eat even semi-healthy .. the breakfast menu food items are served in glass pie pans and are floating in a grease, melted butter, lard substance making your meal kind of a 'breakfast soup'. I asked for the eggs Benedict with very little hollandaise sauce and I received them floating in it literally. I also only got one egg. Typically there is an egg on the top of each english muffin. I asked about this and the server never came back to our table. My son and I tried our best to eat anything from our meals but we could not find the edible portions hidden in the 'fat/grease/butter sludge' that was served to us. This place should not be serving food at all and just stick to serving booze. I gave a 1 star because they did seem to have a nice Bloody Mary bar, the place was clean, the outside seating was nice, and there are plenty of televisions. I stopped in to check out the breakfast menu. Phenomenal choice! I was surprised to see a Bloody Mary bar with quite a few choices of infused vodkas, rums, condiments, and meats to personalize your drink. I ordered the Thick Bacon Benedict. The bacon was anything but. Aside from how thin the bacon actually was, the flavor of the sauce and biscuits were fantastic. The menu was a little unclear about which platters actually get a side, so I ended up paying more to get the Blueberry and Bacon Donut holes as a separate order instead of paying for rhem as an add-on. My husband and I just stopped in tonight for dinner, was told to sit wherever we wanted when we walked in. We sat down and waited 10-15 minutes before walking out. They were not very busy, a couple bartenders and the bar and waitresses saw us sitting there but never offered menus or water. Won't be coming back. I love that it caters to all ages not just the 21+ crowd. The first time I went here my food came out incorrectly. I spoke to Management about it and was told that the menu needed to be updated, and that my food was indeed prepared correctly (just not listed correctly on the menu). I decided to give it another try because it is close to my office, and the second time it took nearly an hour to get our food, even though the dining room was nearly empty. My juicy Lucy had no cheese on the inside and my fries were ice cold. Someone at my table had to return a beer because it was skunky. When asked how everything was I told the server, who then said it wasn't as long as I thought and she would check the ticket times, and that MAYBE a manager would stop by. When she returned I was told that it was only 20 minutes between her sending the order to the kitchen and the food arriving, meaning that she took at least 15 minutes to get the order to the kitchen. She took a condescending tone, told me they comped the burger and half apologized that I didn't like her service. The management did not bother to come out. Never again. read more

We have eaten here twice now. Both times the food was EXCELLENT. This last time I tried their Elk burger, which was HUGE!!! This is NOT your usual burger joint. They have 50 different kinds of burgers, include exotics like Elk, Bison, Alligator, Duck, Salmon, and Brat. The service has been very attentive, and they have an extensive beer list both on-tap and bottled. I would highly recommend giving it a try. They also just added a "Burger Bar". You get the burger on a bun, and then you can add your own toppings (50 of them!!). read more

GO SOMEPLACE DIFFERENT!! NO STARS IF I COULD!! A friend and I usually go here once a month for happy hour, not anymore! We were in yesterday around 5pm. Wednesday special was 1/2 off whiskey & wine and .75 cent wings. They also run happy hour 3-6pm where they have some apps for $5.00 and $2.00 off wine. Awesome right? Note so much! Ok, now that I've explained the awesome stuff lets get to reality, I m just going to write on my behalf but both of our bills were effed! (Keep in mind the happy hour and Wednesday Special) The bartender was our server. I ordered water, wine, double dippers (chips w/ queso and salsa), and six .75 cent wings at about 5:20 - 5:30pm. Service was unusually slow, but they had quite a few people in there so it was expected. The food took FOREVER to come out! People that came in after us, ordered after us, received their food before us. This is not one of those it depends upon what they ordered kinda scenarios (I used to be a server for many years) this was simply the order was not put in on time, but no one came to us to say "your food should be up soon, my apologies on the wait time." Never received the water, that is fine, who drinks water at happy hour anyways. I got my food (great wings) but the double dipper app was missing the salsa. I mentioned it to the server , and she came back with a tiny ramekin of salsa. Whatever, its a $5.00 app. Here is where we really go down hill.... I receive my bill which was printed at 6:16pm now after happy hour: wine $6.00, double dipping app $7.99, 6 wings $6.99. Not looking at the bill I gave her my card and she returned with a slip to sign. While finishing my wine. I started to look at the bill. Absolutely NOTHING at happy hour price or special price!!! You mean to tell me your 6oz pour of gnarly head sauv blanc is $8.00 (using the $2.00 off HH)? Or is it $12.00 (using the Wed special)? The wine should have been $3.00, the double dipping app should have been $5.00, and the wings should have been $4.50. The worst part about this is the bartender just dropped off the bill with the slip to sign,and walked away. I caught the attention of another server, she gave me some excuse that you can't use happy hour if you used the special or vice versa. DUMB! Really dumb, nice try though! No one said anything like that to us when we ordered. She said she will bring the bills to our server and have them fixed. Our original server came back with my new bill: wine STILL $6.00, double dipping app NOW discounted to $5.00, and 6 wings NOW discounted to $4.50. When I asked why the wine wasn't discounted she stood there like a deer in the head lights. I asked if we were double charged for the meals, she said the manager voided our previous bill. I told her to forget about fixing the wine (since I had been trying to pay and get out of there for like 40min) and she said "ok" and walked away. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would totally agree with a previous review I read, this place is in need of a Bar Rescue! Here is the deal: I don't want a percent off, I dont want a free app, and I dont want an apology email from the manager/owner. I want you guys to STOP over charging your customers, and teach your employees more about customer service....PERIOD! If you are running specials and HH give your customers what they ordered at that price you are offered if they ordered it during HH or your special! This place gets worse every time I go there. The burgers are nothing special and overpriced. I can make one better at home. The service is terrible. The only reason I keep going there is because of trivia night on Wednesdays. But after last nights debacle I will never return to this sub standard restaurant. We stood waiting for almost 10 minutes waiting for a table, which wouldn't have been a big deal if they had been busy. Workers walked past us several times and didn't even address us as we stood there. Finally I just sat myself. Then we attempted to order. We told her what we wanted to drink and she walked away without taking our food order, when she came back she set our drinks down and attempted to walk away again. I told her we were ready to order. My wife ordered the Jefferson Plane Jane and wanted mustard and a slice of cheese and got neither. We were there for 2 hours doing the trivia games. She only came back to our table twice. My daughter had to flag her down just to get a refill. The only waitress that is good at what she does is Alicia. So if you do decide to go here ask to sit in her section otherwise your dining experience will be terrible. read more

I'll start with this -- I signed up for Yelp just to review this restaurant. Restaurant was an overall poor experience. This is one of those places that has high ambitions (50 burgers! A billion craft beers!) but doesn't reach its own goals. Many of the menu items have a sort of "craft" approach to them (unique ingredient combos, fancy, etc). The cheese curds were very good. I'll give 'em that. The fries were poor. Underseasoned, sort of stale/soggy, etc. No good. The restaurant has a number of fancy seasoning shakers (I went with rosemary for my fries) but you'll give yourself tendinitis trying to shake out enough seasoning onto the fries. The burger was overall okay. I got the "smoke bomb" burger. For me, it's hard to dislike anything with a ton of meat and grease. The BIG downside here was that the burger seemed to be done with liquid smoke. This is something I've used at home to reasonable results, but in a restaurant setting this is disappointing. I'm not quite sure why the taste is different, but it is -- the burger taste like it was drenched in the $2 liquid smoke you'd get at the grocery store. The beer list was just fine. None of the picks are very adventurous, and mostly features a lot of flagship beers from local breweries. I enjoyed the two beers I had, but I would've preferred them served in a glass. The major downside was the service. Our waiter was very rude and spaced out the whole time. The restaurant has codes for all the items (A1, B1, etc) and so he was not familiar with a single item. The use tablets for taking orders, for whatever reason, and he came back every five minutes for the entire two hours we were there to ask again what we had ordered, even after we had received our food. I personally received my food promptly, but about half our table had to wait an extra half hour to get theirs, meaning I also waited to eat mine (and of course he came back half a dozen times to check our orders). He often walked away while people were trying to get his attention. When it came time to pay, all our checks were "unassigned" and we had to spend a ton of time straightening out our orders for him. They had a rough start but with some staffing changes, they are way cooler now. The beer selection is better than you can find anywhere around without going into the city. They have almost too much food to choose from on the menu and the last few times I've been there the service was prompt and friendly. Last night the 4 of us tried Wyatt's Twisted Americana before checking out the nearby Regal Cinema 16. We were thirsty for a cold one, and wanted something to nibble on. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was friendly, prompt, and I asked if we had time for food before our movie, and he said he'd get it in right away and won't be a problem at all. We each ordered something different on tap, and two orders of the Steak Bites that were marinated in a Porter Beer (as I recall). The steak bites were delicious, tender, flavorful, and reasonably priced. We happened to be there during Happy Hour (it was a quiet Tuesday night after 9PM), and the beers were only $3 ea. BARGAIN. If this were a better location with better signage, I'm convinced they'd be much busier. ;) Great place, great selection on tap, and go for the steak bites! TIP: Go on a Tuesday night and catch a movie afterwards! ;) Good deals! NOTE: I asked the bartender how long they'd been open because I saw the Grand Opening Special mentioned on the menu, and he said he wasn't positive because he had just started. After reading some of the less than 4-star reviews, they may have added some new friendlier staff (this bartender was new, nice, friendly, and prompt). Give it a shot ;) read more

Decided to go tonight in spite of the negative reviews I'd read. What a pleasant surprise! Server was super-attentive; beer was cold with lots of choices, food came fast, was hot, very tasty and not greasy. Happy hour prices were great ($2 domestic bottles, 1/2 price craft beer and apps) and Jack Daniels rep was giving free samples!!! Cost for 3 dinners, 3 beers and 2 appetizers, $50! We've been playing trivia at Wyatt's on Wednesday nights for almost 3 months, and have tried very hard to give this place a chance. The Wednesday night drink specials are good - half off wine and whiskey - assuming you can get service and not an excuse. Over the past 2.5 months, we've heard excuses for poor service (and lack of service) ranging from "Sorry, I was just trying to finish ringing up these large tables" to "Oh, I was really hoping the other server had been over here." The best service we received was from the bartender, who could tend bar, make all the drinks, AND serve tables while the servers were hiding in the back, taking smoke breaks every half an hour, or just obliviously walking by tables trying to get their attention. Add that to the manager's faulty reasoning for excluding certain items from Wednesday night specials, and it's been a challenge coming back week after week. Although the special advertises half price all wines and whiskeys, "That wine doesn't count because it's a blend." "Oh, Jim Beam doesn't count because it's a bourbon." Maker's Mark BOURBON is included in their half priced whiskeys, but Jim Beam BOURBON isn't. I have no issues with specials being limited, but please have some consistency in your logic - or just use logic. After our last trivia game this week, I doubt we'll ever make it back here. First of all, we found this place through Yelp when we searched places to eat in Hastings. The website shows that it's still located there, but when we arrived we discovered that it is a whole different restaurant, under new ownership, and compared to Wyatt's website menu, it was severely lacking. So.... after an extensive online search and a phone call, we got back in the car and drove to Eagan. The website led us to believe that this was a fairly upscale food venue, with unusual yet amazing offerings. Wrong! It is a sports bar, right down to the run of the mill sports bar food. We sat on the patio, and after listening to a crackling speaker system which blared trivia questions, we asked the lone server to turn it down. There were only three tables occupied when we arrived - the other two were singles - and yet, it took absolutely forever to get each stage of our order, from the beers to the food, and a solid 25 minutes after we finished to get our check. I'm all about greasy food but the burger patty looked like it was deep fried and then left in oil.
