They appeared brown instead of dark gray, and the left lens was noticeably blurry. When I brought this to the clerk's attention, I was told to wear the glasses for two weeks to "get used to them." I explained that I wasn't comfortable doing that because the left lens was blurry and requested that the lenses be remade. Instead of addressing my concerns, the clerk insisted that I see the doctor again to review my prescription, even though I had my eye exam only 10 days earlier. I declined because I didn't believe another exam was necessary. The clerk then became rude and told me he was going to make a note on my account that I "refused to see the doctor." He also warned me that I would not be allowed to have the lenses changed again. I found this response unprofessional and felt that I was being pressured rather than helped. To the store's credit, the issue with the glasses was eventually resolved. The replacement lenses were the correct dark gray color, and the left lens was no longer blurry. However, I told the clerk that I felt he owed me an apology for the way he had treated me during the process. He refused to apologize. While I appreciate that the glasses were ultimately corrected, the poor customer service and lack of professionalism made what should have been a simple warranty correction into a frustrating experience. I hope management takes customer concerns more seriously and treats future customers with greater courtesy and respect.

From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Nyaisha Ruiz, the medical assistant, was absolutely amazing. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail, including what to expect before, during, and after the procedure. Her calm and reassuring demeanor really helped ease my nerves. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel like I was in very good hands. Dr. Bernstein was equally wonderful. The procedure itself was so smooth and quick that I almost forgot I was even getting a biopsy. The only thing I really felt was the small pinch from the lidocaine, and after that it was completely painless. The whole thing lasted about five minutes, and I was honestly surprised at how easy it was. What stands out to me is that they are professional but still personable, and they're up on new technology and techniques. I'm also confident in the doctors and technicians who work there, and feel I'm getting the best care whenever I go. The office is housed inside the Atkins-Kent building across from Saint Barnabas Hospital. It's easy to get to by car from 280, but also there are bus routes since it's close to the hospital. There's a large waiting room with ample seating and flat screen TV, but I haven't had to really wait for my appointments and go in when scheduled. In the waiting room, you can also peruse the glasses. Last year, I needed to spend down my HSA money and bought two pairs of glasses and my usual contacts. I remember there were a lot of frames options for me, which isn't always the case. Nice inventory. When you enter the office, you check in with the front desk admin. They've always been friendly when I've gone and also on the phone. Your name is called when it's time to go to the back. Again, never really a wait. We see Dr. Schultz, a great doctor who's knowledgeable and who you can tell keeps current with developments in his field/specialization. My partner has gone to Dr Schultz for over 10 years now; me, about 5 or so. We followed him to this office because, when you find a doctor or healthcare provider you can trust, you stick with them as long as you can! In terms of equipment, I thought the office has some modern devices. Also a few weeks ago, I went in for my annual eye exam and the front desk told me that - as an option - I could go for the optomap retinal exam/Optos retinal imaging instead of the traditional one where you get your eyes dilated. I may consider trying this next time, but it's not covered by insurance, however, you won't have that 4-5 hours of eye discomfort and blurry vision. I thought it was cool they offer this. I recommend Miller Ophthalmology without reservation.

I had the misfortune of encountering this individual on two seperate occasions. In my first encounter I informed him I had medicare, He examined me then said for an additional $3000 he would use a special leaser which he himself patented and I would no longer need glasses. I informed him that because of the shape of my face I wanted to continue wearing glasses. He replied it's your decision. On my second encounter he again kept me waiting over two hours. This time he totally changed his story, stating that because of the condition of my eye, my only option would be to use his $3000 laser to correct my cataract. I became suspicious andI informed him I be would seek a second opinion. His response was that it would be risky and any doctor that would perform the procedure I should be skeptical of. After my 2nd consultation Dr Rosenthal had the gall to contact me via again and tried to use his high pressure tactics to peddle his $3000 plus advanced package in spite of the fact that I told him I was not interested. Recently I had the procedure done and with 100% success when I initially informed the doctor of what DR. Rosenthal implied he was very confident that he could attain similar results thus saving me $3000 plus dollars.

The woman I have spoken with 2ce is horrifically condescending. I have been attempting to get my records for about 12 days now. I filled out the required form and gave payment information...then nothing. So I called 4 days later. I was met with hostility and spoken to like I was an idiot because it had not been 5 business days. She actually COUNTED the days to me slowly like I was a toddler. I told her that I understand that it has been 4 days... A - no where does it say how long it would take (I was calling to inquire, not complain). and B- the front desk sent me to her bc they said they did not see the form on my chart. Then she told me that I must not have paid (I could HEAR the eyeroll). I told her I had sent my cc info and agreed to payment. So then of course she said that I need to wait and it would be sent it me. I asked her to confirm that they received my form. She refused and said I need to wait... they "don't lose forms". Then - you guessed it - my records NEVER came. So I called again. Again met with hostility. I started explaining that I was trying to get my records and she said "I can't do anything because I don't even know who I am talking to and we have hundreds of patients." Like... what? So ask for my name. I was trying to make sure I was speaking with the right person. Low and behold - she cannot find my form. They do not have it, even though I received a confirmation email. Even though I called last week to confirm that they did. Before she realized this she continued to speak to me like I was a nuisance. Once she realized, she apologized for it being lost and said I needed to fill it out again. Why the hostility? I am one of the nicest people you could meet...and I am pregnant. I literally CANNOT believe this lady has a job in customer service. The first time I spoke to her I started crying she was so rude. This time I was prepared, but why do I have to wear ARMOR to ask for MY records?
