Burger with fried onions and fries. Burger was delicious.

Well 8 months since our last time here, vowing never to go back bc it was terrible...however, never say never bc our friends talked us into going for dinner Wednesday night. Keeping our fingers crossed and hoping they got their act together since after all, they were still new 8 months ago. And...happy to say...all four of us enjoyed! I think the key is to keep it simple. All four of us ordered burgers...surprisingly cooked exactly as requested too! (After all how many times have you requested a burger be cooked medium only to get it well done...but not the case here). The burgers had a delicious grill taste, plump, juicy and excellent. It truly was one of the better burgers we have had in a while. Our server Nick was right on. We appreciated his attentive, timely and friendly service. Our martinis were a nice pour especially for the price. Also the Scotch and wine were nice pours. The restaurant was very empty while we were there during dinner but apparently weekends are packed. I am soooo glad we gave it another try and things were very good. I want to see this cute place succeed. If I could make one suggestion I would encourage a better "happy hour" menu. The Receptionist didn't even know they offered a happy hour menu which was understandable bc it had chicken wings and one other thing plus $2 off on wine or beer...I forget exactly and nothing printed. But I have to say prices for alcohol are reasonable for the pour so maybe a few more happy hour appetizers would be nice. Overall, we had a fun time, delicious food and great cocktails! I am saving 5 stars for next time...hopefully.

Rolled up garage type external walls so totally open air when we went. Only tiny complaint was the sparkling wine used in the Aperol spritzes came from a tap and was a bit flat.

Quite empty on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:30. I assume they get a younger crowd that works and comes later (we are retired). The happy hour menu impressed us. Speciality cocktails normally $15-ish were only $9. That got our attention. Plus $5 appetizers. Never see lemon drop martini, manhattan and expresso martinis on happy hour afterall. And those were our picks (3 of us). We were celebrating Mom's 93 birthday. For the $5. appetizers we picked pork spring rolls, potato chip nachos, and mozzarella sticks. The chips were the winner. BUT "never" get the spring rolls. Two very disappointing , tiny spring rolls that had a microscopic amount of pork. It was pathetic. Not even worth it for $5. I would stay away from those. Silly only two on the plate and there were 3 of us. Too small to share. Our server was efficent and sweet. She added to a nice happy hour. We enjoyed playing a few rounds of table shuffle board. Nice addition. The best part of our happy hour was a friendly couple (we just met them) at the bar surprised us and paid for a round of drinks since they heard it was my Mom's 93 birthday!! That surely made her day extra special and memorable.

Warm welcoming upon arrival, the atmosphere is fantastic as others have mentioned, got a little history on the way to our seats. Our server, Augusto, was fantastic. Very engaging, friendly and attentive. Excellent server. The food was outstanding. Portion sizes were just right and everything was what you would expect from a fine dining establishment. Will definitely be back!

I bumped up my star calculation 1/2 point higher, because everyone was so nice and when our server…read moredescribed the items on the menu, she actually made my mouth water with the descriptions of ingredients and preparation. I was very impressed by the way we were greeted by Noelle at the door. A little bit of history of the renovated barn turned into a cozy, well-appointed Stockton area BYOB, some smiling chat and then we were off to our table to what we were looking forward to since we made our reservation. I love the idea of the prix fixe menu with a well-rounded selection (fish, seafood, meat, and vegan choices, etc.) Apps The potato soup had a nice smooth consistency, full pieces of lobster meat, a touch of truffle. 4 stars The tuna tartare was fresh but seriously underwhelming. Not much flavor nor pizazz there. I wish I got something else. 2 stars Entrees The seafood ramen noodle thingy, explained to us that it was a newer item in the menu and very popular was the highlight of my evening. The stock is everything in ramen dishes and this was no exception. Excellent lobster stock and perfectly prepared shrimp, cooked to a snap when bitten into. The marinated egg was very different and very good. It had a nice strong tingling taste. 5 stars The braised short rib was tender but dry. However, when mixed with the au jus and pureed carrots on the plate, it livened and juiced the meat up. The roasted broccolini was inedible. Totally undercooked, chewy and a waste of a fine veg. 3 stars Dessert The peach and biscuit napolean presented itself fantastically, was looking forward to the first bite out of this jar of delight and then fell flat. The peaches were hard and tasted like unripen fruit. The honey and syrup and the sweetness of the whipped cream was all one can taste. Very disappointed and a waste of calories. 2 stars Service Hostess 5 stars, wait people 4 stars. It would have been 5 stars, or perfect, if we didn't have to wait 25 minutes for our dessert which was ordered pre-dinner. It's not like it had to be baked fresh, I didn't think. Maybe they had to whip up and bake the biscuits. And also, this was the type of place where you have to chase down your server to get your check and then once again chase them down to take your card. Now, would I go back? If I was in the area, maybe. Some of the other apps and entrees I saw being served looked very interesting. But that was the main problem I had here. Presentation was creative and art-like but some dishes ended up not living up to the vision.
