Got a call from the office this week. They heard there were power outages nearby and wanted to know if I was running off my generator and needed a fill. They were scheduling emergency deliveries for their propane customers. Let me say that again...THEY CALLED ME! Probably not a big deal for them, but really impressed me. This company has made life very inconvenient. Go with another supplier. They didn't give a date they could come out and then in an emergency situation they still refused to come to help. I have received quotes to change providers. Maybe they don't have the staff to provide services to customers who have been loyal for years. read more

I recently had a repair to my system and chose to use them. I asked for a quote up front for the cost of the repair. I not only did not get a quote, but the technician was late getting there, was only there for 2 hours and the charge was outrageous. I should have looked at YELP BEFORE I made my decision and not allowed the repair to begin UNTIL I received the quotation. They had me over a barrel and knew it. I will not use them again. read more

This service was called for an annual maintenance on a gas boiler. The unit was running fine I was doing my due diligence for the winter. Service was performed professionally up to the point of booking, sending someone in (basically until they got me as a costumer). I requested the company to call me during my initial appointment after the service is done to update me on their recommendations (I am landlord on this single-family house). They agreed but I NEVER heard back. My tenant who was there when the service was done told me the service man said the unit is in good condition but does recommend a part replacement in a few months and will call me with a quote. I called them the following Monday (service on a Friday) and was told by a female employee the person who conducted the service will call me back, this did not happen. I called again in two weeks, was promised a call back, again nothing. At this point I withhold payment because I need a call back for service rendered (I have no idea what part needs replacement and general update of the unit). I called again in about another two weeks (last Thursday), again was promised call back and never heard a thing. This is three attempts on my part and no follow up from Wyman. Last night, a month and 13 days after the service was performed my gas boiler failed to function. I owed the house since 2014, the first time I went with Wyman my unit failed after their service. This is after they told me the gas boiler is in good condition. I called this morning and despite on their website the office is open at 7:30am, I got the answering service up until about 8:30am. The person who answered the phone was extremely rude and basically instead of taking responsibility for the multiple failed promises of calling a costumer back, and the fact the unit was just service by Wyman then failed to function he was more concerned about the bill. It was below freezing last night, concerned about frozen pipes, I asked him to send someone out today and he right out said no (Wyman website listed emergency 24-hour service). He said he will call back and hang up on me. I called back in about 1.5 hours, someone else picked up and said they will call back in a few minutes. I waited for another 30 minutes and called another company on Angie's list. This new company promised to send someone out in an hour. Their service man is at my house right now fixing the problem and updating me as he go. Wyman finally called me back for the first time after I already booked a service with someone else (really at this point can I even believe Wyman will call back?), the same person who hang up on me earlier finally told me what the recommended replacement part is and said he can send someone out today but I need to paid first. At this point I had already decided to cut my loses with Wyman and paid them about two hours earlier. I told him I have paid and decided to go with someone else, he hang up on me again. This is by far the most unprofessional business I have encountered in my life. I went with them because they are A rated on Angie's list. Do not trust their ratings. Save yourself from months of frustration and wasted money and go with another company. read more

I used them once last year. This year I called on a Thursday, and they took my credit info and told me that they would be there in one to two days. The weekend passed, and I then called on Tuesday to check if they would be coming, as my tank was getting low. I was told they were on the road and they would be there that afternoon. Come Wednesday (before a big storm) I call them to ask are they SURE they are coming, and they said that they had no record of my calls and that the dispatcher had been out of the office. I asked who I had spoken to 3 times at this number and given my credit info to, and they said "other people answer the phone while I'm out, and since we're so busy with this big storm we can't come for two weeks" NOW I look like the idiot calling other local companies last minute the day before a storm. THEY ARE SO DISORGANIZED do not use this company. read more

I called Wyman energy from a referral of a neighbor and I am very glad I did, early October I had 2 professional and licensed repair men come out give me a written quote as well as maintenance/preventative care for my boiler. I received several other quotes from other companies and chose Wyman not because of the price but for their knowledge and recommendations. Today I had 2 licensed technicians at my home, they were extremely professional neat and thorough. they called before they arrived arrived on time explain to me everything they were doing and we're done in a timely manner. Wyman rates are reasonable and competitive. I feel they not only completed the work that was required but also increase the efficiency and life of my boiler. They will be my company from now on and I highly recommend them. read more

I scheduled a routine maintenance of the A/C system for a Monday at 1:00 p.m. Two hours went by and no call, no show. I called the office and they had the technician call me back. He said that due to the extreme hot weather there were lots of emergency A/C calls and he was running very late. I could not wait any longer so we agreed to reschedule for the following Monday at 9:00 a.m. Again, 10:30 a.m. and no call, no show. I called the office and they gave me a similar excuse at which point I cancelled the appointment. I had no desire to begin a relationship with a company that cannot be reliable. I scheduled my time around them twice. They caused me great inconvenience, twice, and did not even call, either time, to account for their absence. Extremely unprofessional. I originally chose them because they're in town and near my house and because they claimed to be serving Manchester since 1953, I wanted to keep my business local . We were long term customers of Wyman - nearly 20 years for my husband and 7 for me. Well, no more! After a recent oil delivery (on a Saturday in single digit temps) our furnace stopped working. Called Wyman for help and I have never been treated so horribly. This man brought me to tears. I was literally berated for not getting my furnace serviced (Wyman replaced the motor on our furnace the month before and I mistakenly thought they serviced it during that repair, a misunderstanding between my husband, who was present for the repair, and myself). His words were he felt "insulted" that we didn't get it serviced so he refused fix it that day. He offered to come Monday, which was obviously of no help. His attitude was so "not my problem" which was incredibly appalling and unprofessional, especially for us being loyal customers for decades. Turns out the issue had nothing to do with whether or not our furnace was serviced (there was a small clog in the line probably gunk kicked up when they filled the oil tank). Needless to say we will NOT be using Wyman ever again, and would not recommend them to anyone. They will literally leave you out in the cold. read more

I used them a couple of times for furnace repair. Both times they had a hard time finding my home. When they finally found their way to my house, they did a decent job fixing the furnace. When they are busy, they'll flat out tell you to find someone else. I would not recommend them. read more
