The showers are a good size and the bathrooms were clean! My lack of stars is actually for the pool area + arcade. I hate the time limits on things like the hot tub and warming pools. As well as not enough tubes for the lazy river/ rides! The arcade is also more for younger kids but no issue there other than the workers! The card machine ate $80 of cash and they said there was nothing they could do about it! I had to call and complain a few times for them to offer money back. But I was so glad I could try them. The waterpark was fun. I did spend most of my time in the indoor portion. However, I really enjoyed the lazy river outside. The crazy wave pool with the 9 foot waves ... scary and crazy... Also not for me but I enjoyed people watching. The rotating slide is really why I was there. I never been on something like this. I think it's the only one in the USA and wow was it weird. It was really fun and different and something I will be probably never experience again. It can give you a little bit of motion sickness due to the movement but if that's not an issue for you, you should be good. I also love a good hot tub which they had. There are 4 cottages all with the same layout. Each cottage has a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with a fireplace, full kitchen complete with a gas range. In the center of each, there is a one bedroom suite with a room exclusively for the hottub and a small kitchen. It is rented as either a two bedroom (either end of the cottage), three bedroom (an end and the center one bedroom), five bedroom (the entire cottage). It is a timeshare. It can be rented out. We have stayed there at least five times. It is peaceful there even with the construction going on. They recently renovated to make more modern.

But then to get woken up at 7:30am with loud banging literally right next door was frustrating. My friend works construction everyday and took today (Monday) off of work to get away and relax with me and we dealt with it the whole time. Also I think it's pretty unsanitary to have the breakfast food literally NEXT to rooms that are being worked on. I could see dust coming from a room very close to wear all the fruit and other food was laying out.

The picture of the room in no way reflects what my room looked like AT ALL. Definitely a motel with poor amenities and dirty! I spilled some water on the floor and used a towel to clean it up. The towel ended up completely dirty from wiping the floor (disgusting). Added picture. Also saw a piece of what I think was dried up meat next to the microwave. They indicate you get free WiFi and cable TV. I was unable to get any WiFi unless I went across the street to the lobby. I asked the front desk about it and they use the router from the hotel and expect that the buildings across the street will connect to the signal (no extender). I included a pic of the message I received on all of my devices. When it did connect, it would then indicate "Internet no connection". My nephew wanted to watch a movie so we turned on the TV. Only got 5 of the cable channels and they were 3 news channels and a cartoon channel. All other channels indicated the signal was too weak (again, probably wired into the cable from across the street). As I sat in the lobby over two days when I needed WiFi, I counted 6-7 customers who went to the front desk complaining about various things. The front desk sticks to their script and we're not accommodating or helpful. Always offered to give the money back and the person could go elsewhere. I have never observed so many complaints from a variety of people (in two days) and I do quite a bit of traveling. We have stayed in 4-5 places in the Dells and this is BY FAR the worst accommodations and customer service we have encountered. Even the "free" use of the Natura beach (which is a great perk) won't lure us to stay at a Natura "resort" ever again. Recommendation: STEER CLEAR of their hotel/lodging!!

As I read through the reviews it's clear that people are leaving reviews for other locations / places they thought were the VUE. This hotel is perfectly located for adults, slightly off the beaten path with an amazing view! They have a restaurant and Starbucks in the hotel and partnering restaurants 10 minutes away. We checked in for two nights and honestly had a good time. There's a pool, sauna and hot tub that overlook the water which was perfect for watching it snow. Our rooms were nice, bed super comfortable. The only thing I would say is one of the rooms next to us had a loud shower and we heard it every time it started, but it would go away pretty quickly. I would stay again, this is not our go to- but the rating on Yelp is far from correct.

We come into the building on the 4th of July and there is an information desk because the place is loaded with other things to do at the resort. We get to the Take Flight and wait in line until it's time for us to go in. It was a bit of a wait because a group before us had just gone in. We did the Space Flight first. WOW is all I can say! I don't want to give it away but I would recommend the experience. It's full of surprises. We really enjoyed Space Flight. Then we unfortunately had to stand in line again for Wonders of the American West. That wait was even longer. We enjoyed that experience too. We got our pictures taken by a photographer for both experiences and we took advantage of their picture offerings after we were done to remember the experience. The one thing that needs improvement is that you have to be weighed before getting access to the line (which is fine). You have to be less than 325 pounds. There is a red light/green bright circular light on a tall pole right above the scale for everyone to see. It's embarrassing if you step on and it turns red for no entry. That should be moved so only the attendant can see. No one should have anxiety about people seeing if you get a green light or red light. Next we were hungry so we stopped at the Camp Social Burger Bar. Many were hanging out at the bar and the food looked pretty good so we decided to get the Burger BBQ which is an angus beef patty with cheese, bacon and onion strings with bbq sauce. It came with homemade potato chips. Hubby got a pina colada mocktail and they decorated it so pretty with the 4th of July colors and decorations. I must say the burger, chips and the drink were divine. We sat in the seating they have and just chilled which was nice. They have so many other eating places and a candy shop. We really enjoyed our experience there and highly recommend. Thank you Wilderness at the Resort. A+ in our books!

The room service honestly did not satisfy me at all--I've had much better experiences elsewhere. When I first arrived, my room also didn't have a bar of hand soap, extra toilet paper, or a channel guide for the TV, which made things a little more inconvenient than they needed to be. That being said, if you're traveling with younger kids, I think this is a great option because there's a lot specifically geared toward them. For teens, though, there are definitely other resorts I'd consider first.

I want to share my experience regarding the noise levels during our recent stay. We encountered…read moresignificant disturbances due to poor soundproofing, which made it unbearable, especially when traveling with a small child. For two of the three nights, the noise was excessive. During our last night, which much needed sleep, I contacted the front desk twice. The first time, I was told security would address the loud group on the patio. On my second call, I was advised to approach the guests myself to ask them to lower their volume, which I found quite shocking. When I requested the staff's name, she began to spell it out instead of simply stating it, and ultimately hung up on me. Given that we paid over $500/per night was too much for not getting much sleep. As well as the lack of support and rude service were very disappointing. I hope future guests take note of this issue and similar other reviews about the excessive noise level likely due to lack of soundproofing.
