I was satisfied until I got home. The nail work itself wasn't amazing, but it wasn't bad either. It was about average--similar to what you would get at many other nail salons. The toenail design wasn't exactly what I had asked for or what I showed in the reference photo, but it was close enough that I could live with it. However, after I got home, my fingers started to sting. I realized I had several small cuts around my cuticles and skin. It became clear that my skin had been nicked in multiple places during the manicure. During my appointment, the technicians were frequently on a video call and spent most of the time chatting with each other in Vietnamese. They would often stop working on my nails just to continue their conversations before resuming. Unfortunately, it felt like they weren't fully focused on my manicure, which may explain why I ended up with so many cuts on my fingers. To be fair, they were not rude at all. Everyone was friendly and polite, and I don't think anyone had bad intentions. I just wish there had been more attention to detail and more focus on the client during the service. I hope they improve because they seem like nice people. read more

I had to come here because I was in a rush to get my nails done before the weekend and it was convenient. I got my nails and toes done. My nails were pretty but my toes were not very nice. The service and the price was not worth it. It is much more expensive than other nail shops in the OC. On top of that the nail technicians were not very friendly and the desk person refused to break my $100 so I could leave tip. The lady working on my nails kept on telling me not to move and all I wanted to do was relax and speak with my friend. I have gone to many nail shops with other girl friends and we talked a lot. This is the first time I was angrily told not to move because it was bothering the technician. For the price I paid, I am not dealing with that type of service. Since moving to Irvine, I've been trying to find a go-to nail salon that's close to home and does great work! This spot definitely is going to become my go-to now, after my experience with them this past weekend. The workers here are really friendly, and they take great care of your nails. I got a mani pedi with gel, and was done within 1.5hrs. The color selections here are gorgeous, and I love that they have sheer colors available. The prices here are on par with other local nail shops. One of my favorite things about this shop is that you can book an appointment online. The total for my service came out to about $114 which included tip. Excited to come back and explore their other colors. read more

The nails are lumpy, all different lengths and when I asked why some are thicker than others and different lengths she laughed it off. I asked for an itemized bill and they threw a fit as if it isn't a normal thing to ask for. They are very uptight and want you to know what color you want immediately. Had pedi with Jennifer and Mani with Momo. Had an appointment, it started on time. Both were very efficient - Ivy was fast but didn't compromise on attention to detail. Momo was particularly detailed oriented, which I appreciated (felt extra pampered). Calm and clean environment, great music choice, not loud ambiance (which I enjoyed particularly liked). Price was reasonable. The only downside was the massage quality - super weak with both, it was a joke (rubbing of massage cream basically, many other salons actually go deep). I'd def not pay extra for extra massage time but it didn't take away from enjoying the rest of the service. I would def come back! read more

I've had great experiences here before with two different techs, but I tried someone new (Monique) for a simple builder gel fill and was disappointed. My nails came out bumpy and messy, and I felt a bit rushed and like I was inconveniencing her when choosing a color, even though I booked ahead. I chose a color I don't usually choose to try it out and even though I was hesitant I felt pressured to just choose it. A bit more expensive than other salons I've been to. It's a $50 for an acrylic fill but they charge an extra $5 if you need your nails trimmed. I believe the trim should be included with the fill. Service has gone downhill the last few times I've been here. I really liked this place because I felt that they were one of the only places that takes of your gel polish correctly. With foil and acetone and not their drills. This time around I came in wanting a simple basic manicure with regular polish. Every time you get gel done they use the drill and I wanted to give my nails a chance to heal. I came in with gel polish on and I wanted regular polish so they advised me that it would be $5 to remove. I agreed. Well next thing I know the tech is drilling the polish off. She has it on high so I could feel the heat of the drill. then she used the foils and the. The drill again. Then she scraped my cuticle off dry, no ointments or softener. Finally she asked me what color I wanted-the first time she's actually talked to me- and I asked her what colors they had since they hadn't shown me the catalog. She made a face at me and the host brought me the catalog. In the end I left with achy, crooked nails and I didn't not tip. I'm really disappointed with the way they've gone downhill. The techs dont talk to you just tap on the table and expect you to understand what they mean. The employees eat at their meals and hot Cheetos at the stations and it seems like they dislike having to use regular polish. Today I removed the nail polish and got a good look at the rings of fire on my nails. Ouch! This prompted me to make this review. I will be taking my business elsewhere and looking for better service. read more

My husband and I had the Luxury Jelly Pedicure the massage was great by Tracy... when she took out my ingrown it did not hurt at all and she did a clean well done job! Went here for the first time and had a very bad experience. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure. The woman doing my manicure was very rushed and going so fast, hurting my fingers, cutting my skin way too deep and I have bloody cuticles on multiple fingers. I've gotten my nails done plenty of times and this was painful. When she was removing my old gel polish a white hair was on the foil and she didn't even care and I had to remove it myself- so gross & unhygienic. I don't understand the good reviews here, I would not recommend this place and I am not coming back. They offered a 15% discount when I complained & I appreciate that but still, my fingers are bloody and it stings to the touch, was not worth paying for read more

Very disappointed as I was frequently going here and had recommended a handful of people to go here, too. Last experience was terrible. I Had been doing gel builder for the passed 6 months and grown out all my nails, not only did 6 break within a few weeks, during my service, the nail tech filed and shaved my nails so thin, fragile, and frail that they are breaking from the near bottom. One week post service I had to already go back for a nail repair and the gel polish peeling, and the salon didn't even want or understand to repair. Even though I mentioned no response was needed as I will never step foot back in your shop you sent a response anyway. Well here is my response. First of all...even though I considered service was subpar for me....I still tipped the tech's. What do you say to that? Secondly, my "PERCEIVED" poor service as compared to my friend who sat 100 centimeters to my left and whom I observed...is REAL. My toe still hurts this morning two days after the pedicure so the extra pressure applied to my toe for the pedicure was VERY REAL. Thirdly, It should not be that complicated when making an online reservation. Don't blame me as the customer if as the customer I make a reservation and the online reservation system asks me to choose a tech for the service. I did just that..chose the tech I wanted for the services yet was assigned different techs upon arrival. Saying that I am a bad guy because I did not see fine print (see the attachments to this response) when making an online appt and getting a confirmation that states that I have been assigned a particular tech is confusing for a first (and only time) time customer to say the least. It does not work that way in the real modern online world. When I make a web or mobile appt for my doctor, the physician whom I made an appt with is the one who provides the service when I show up for the appt not another staff member. Same as if I make an appt with my barber, that barber is the one who completes the haircut. Also, this is not my first pedicure; at other shops in the past all over the western USA when I have made an advance appt with a particular tech..that is who performs the service when I show up. Not wasting any more time or thought on this. I paid your shop for the services AND tipped your staff for their time so let's move on. read more
