The wife dragged me to Essence Nail Salon for a pedicure, and I was convinced I'd hate it. Turns out I was wrong for a change Tina did a fantastic job, they took us right on time, and everyone was so friendly. I was the only guy there but never felt out of place. Not sure pedicures are going to become a regular thing for me, but my toenails have definitely never looked better. Highly recommend Tina and the team! read more

I make an appointment at the beginning of every month and they already know me so when I arrive, they already know I get the gelx medium almond shape. All the employees here are all very nice and super helpful, especially when it comes to the crazy inspo designs I bring into the shop. Yes, the designs I choose are intricate and require a lot of time but they always execute and I always get a ton of compliments on my nails all month long. Had an appointment with Lan and was disappointed. While filing my nails, she kept getting close to my skin that I had to pull back my hands. Even after telling her that the filer was hurting me, she kept being rough and ended up cutting skin. I was also disappointed with the quality of the nail design. She couldn't provide the same design that I showed, saying the colors won't show and kept arguing my color choices. I ended up going with the color she chose and instead of the pastel colors I wanted, it was more vibrant that ruined the look of the design. My nails were also so thick and looked like a bubble so I ended up going back and asking her to redo it. Instead of my previous design, I asked for another one, thinking it'd be more simple. She told me she'd charge me to redo another design and I was fine with it since I just wanted to get it done. She again argued against the color I chose, saying its too light to appear, but I pushed back this time and it turned out fine. In the end, the design I chose (french tips) were not consistent, and even the other workers were disappointed by the design that they chose not to charge me extra. I won't be going back. read more

My first nail experience where I felt relax and not judged by other nail salons. I love the high ceilings and cute design interior to set the tone that I will have a pleasant time and I really did. My only agenda coming in was my regular nail spot didn't have time for me. I needed to remove my current set of gel nail, get a new design but my issue was I had no idea what design to get. The process to remove my old set of nails and design was easy, not annoying and I didn't have to soak my nails for hours in a weird liquid. I like that! Booked a gel mani appointment with Quinn same day for later in the afternoon. Came in on time but Quinn was busy so waited about 10-15 min. I also asked if they could accommodate a spa pedicure and they could--I had Christy for that. Both ladies were great! Quinn was so detailed and thorough and checked in with me often to make sure I was happy with the results. And Christy was funny and sweet and did a great job on my pedicure. Will definitely come back! Parking is easy but you may have to park further away due to all the businesses in the complex. This place used to be a cafe back in the day but the interior is unrecognizable. It's tile floors and lots of comfy pedicure chairs. Manicure stations looked comfy as well with rests for your wrists.
