Such a professional, done in about 20 minutes due to it being a weekday and was so fast and easy. Nice clean and compact seating area with wind flowing through on a hot day allowed me to get some work done. Cute and quiet bench in the shade to rest and wait too! Found this place on Yelp, and it has a great rating. I "walked in" with a smog check request and he was done in like 10 minutes! My car is a 2012 Camry so it passed (although I'm not sure what the test criteria is) and the best thing was we were able to walk around Japantown real quick while waiting. Be sure to clip the latest coupon before coming by; their prices were among the lowest in town. The nice gentleman there was very nice, efficient, and professional! Would definitely come back here for my next check in the next few years, even if I moved further away. 10/10 recommend this spot! read more

Convenient and quick! The shop is right off the 87 in Japantown. I was told around 15 minutes to finish. The waiting room was nice and clean but I decided to walk up the street and grab some mochi and coffee. The location is great because even though I didn't have much of a wait, there are so many different shops and the Japanese grocery store that are close by to go to while it's being completed. Great location on the corner of 4th & Jackson. Fantastic service. In and out with 0 wait time during holiday season when other smog check centers in town were bogged down with long lines. The guy running the place (owner?) was super friendly and allowed us to leave our car there while we ran out to get groceries down the block. I had the smoothest smog check experience ever at Wynn Smog Center. I called beforehand to check if there was a wait, and received confirmation that there was no wait, so I brought my car over, and it was all done within minutes. It's all done at a very reasonable price (around $50 including the smog certificate). The smog inspector (My) is very friendly and did a great job. I will definitely be bringing my car back here for the next smog check in a couple years. read more

After speaking with the owner (very nice guy) for a few minutes - he started the smog process, and I walked around beautiful Japantown for about 25 minutes until the smog check was complete. I went back to the shop to pick up my car, and the owner was kind enough to give me a discount. I plan on bringing my other vehicle to Wynn Smog Center in a few months and definitely recommend this location for your smog check needs. As an added benefit - there is a coffee shop (Roy's) a half-block away where you can grab coffee, tea, snacks, etc., as you wait. read more

I stopped by here a few weeks back because this place is on my route home and never seemed to crowded. I stopped in, was met by the kind owner who helped me out very quickly. Needed normal (not Star) smogging. My (proprietor's name) said he hopes to be Star certified next year. I had found a smog 'group' on Yelp where you get a discount and pay online. They give you a list of associated shops so you can pick the closet. Selected Wynn, paid and got my receipt and brought that with me along with my DMV renewal notice. You'll need both. Almost missed the shop since it's small and on a corner and, while there's a big sign that says Smog up high, the name Wynn was in a much smaller font. The place wasn't busy, so My was able to get right on it. Said it'd be 15min or so, and I could wait in the little office space or go wander around the block (residential neighborhood behind shop; businesses across street). Walked the block in no rush, nice weather, and when I circled back to the shop, my car was parked alongside the building, and My was waiting for me. He had already transmitted my Pass to the DMV and handed me my confirmation printout. Easy, fast, discounted. All good, and I know where I'll be going the next time. read more

Met the owner really friendly welcoming and honest. I dropped off my car for a smog check and took a quick stroll through historic Japantown while they worked on it. It's a great spot with lots of charm and things to see. By the time I got back, everything was done quickly and hassle-free.
