This place is a treasure! I've been coming here for years. The selection is on point and there's a sweet mix of local artisan things too. Tracy really cultivates a bespoke environment that fits the local area and caters to passers-by. We love the little Christmas cottage out back, the train depot bldg, and the 2 donkeys who will gladly come up and give nuzzles if you call for them Five stars

While antiquing around Julian we had to stop in here. It is the the largest antique mall in the area by far. Inside is a nice collection of booths offering the usual vintage / antique home goods. Quality and organization vary booth to booth but overall things are in good shape and easy to browse. Lots of books and dishes. I enjoyed a booth that had a good supply of old military uniforms and weapons, knives and swords in particular. Another booth that caught my eye was one that featured old clocks and light up bar signs. Looks like a good start to a man cave. Several old typewriters and telephones are around to marvel at. There is also an impressive room dedicated to Christmas items including 2 fully decorated trees. Be sure to head outside in back to see the train and toys house. Someone has built 2 model train towns. I remember doing this as a kid so it was neat to see. Keep it up mysterious train fan. I forgot to take pics so make sure you take a look.

My FAVORITE antique shop in the area! Fair prices and a huge selection! Best part is they are open seven days a week!

There is no pressure at all. Yesterday, she showed me a necklace I liked and I told her that I needed to ponder on it. I also left a couple of pieces to be repaired. When I went back to pick up my repaired items, I bought the piece. We've also had Patricia custom make items for us. Our Mom lost one of her her favorite cross earrings. We showed Patricia and she suggested we have two new ones made and and turn the original cross into a necklace. It was a great suggestion and the price was so reasonable. She shipped us everything within a couple of weeks. Mom was so pleased. Patricia has one many ribbons for her jewelry from the Del Mar Fair and we enjoy seeing them when we visit. Every time we come to Julian, this is one of our "go to" places and we always enjoy catching up with Patricia. She is a sweetheart!

A must stop for RockHounds before / after a day at Julian…read more Crossroads is a rock shop, but perhaps it's more of a learning opportunity for your family. There's a lot of local knowledge to be "mined" from both Peggy and Marilee. You'll get all the insider trails and prospecting sites if you stay long enough. They sell raw unpolished rocks outside by weight. Inside the store are their polished and gallery specimens. They also sell Geodes where they'll crack 'em open to reveal their crystal treasure inside. The trick is to find the largest and lightest ones. Tip - If you don't know what to buy, there's always the grab bags for the kids ($2)

Don't get trapped by the mining company down the road that had cheap rocks that were bought online and painted gold rocks to fool the kids thrown into dirt to fool the kids it was really cheesy! Crossroads is awesome! This place is the real deal . They have amazingly beautiful rocks. They even cut open rocks right in front of you I got a geode that was full of amazing crystals! So fun and super CHEAPPPPPP too! 50 cents - $5.00 for some pretty awesome rocks Your kids or you will be in mineral, gemstone, rock heaven. I already want to go back. Super friendly too! I'm so so so glad I pulled off the road.
