I do not usually write reviews; however, I just read Carol's review on Yelp and I was present at the salon when she came in that day. Firstly, she started yelling at Tiffany when she told her she called and cancelled her appointment. Secondly, Tiffany provided Carol the call history showing her that she had called the salon to cancel her appointment earlier. I've been getting my nails done with Tiffany for years and not once has she made a mistake like that. She is very accommodating and kind so the fact that Carol approached her like that was bizarre to me. Afterwards, Tiffany offered her another time slot but Carol was very dismissive. Tiffany is professional and an amazing business owner. Thus, I will not sit and read condescending Yelp reviews about her character when they simply are not true. That review was definitely biased. I highly recommend getting your nails done with Tiffany since she simply is the BEST. Her gel lasts me 3-4 weeks at times and not once has it chipped on me. She is hardworking and a master of her work. You will always leave satisfied. So these reviews that say otherwise are people who simply do not understand the process of running and operating a business. read more

Called for pricing and possibly do an appointment and instead the lady that answered seemed so unprofessional and uninterested. When she picked up she stayed quiet and I said "hello" and she did the same but no "thank you for calling x nails" or whatever. I didn't know if I was calling a business or some random person. I was thinking of making an appointment but it almost sounded like she was eating while speaking to me and she ended up hanging up on me. read more

i loved my experience at x nails. it was my first time here and i really liked it. the girls were all so lovely and they helped my friend and i choose colors. they were so patient with our indecisiveness and were just very sweet. my friend and i did the dip powder and we both loved how ours came out. i have shorter nails and my friend has natural longer nails which she had them done in an almond shape for the first time ever. they came out so gorgeous. really loved this place. read more

I have been following and using the services of the owner Tiffany at X Nails for over a decade. Not only is she an extraordinary technician- she knows her industry and she cares about the health of your nails. I literally get stopped at least once a week and get asked where I get my nails done. She's one of the hardest workers I have ever met and now that she has her own salon x Nails is one of the greatest accomplishments I have watched her achieve. As a fellow entrepreneur I am humbled when Tiffany asks me for advice about certain nuances w the English language since English is her second language. However her commitment to customer service is remarkable. X Nails is open at 10 am Tuesday through Sunday. If you are lucky enough to be a customer of the owner Tiffany she works 7 days a week to accommodate her customers. This can be confusing to a new client but her regular clients are grateful to her commitment to us and her customer service. Needless to say. I highly recommend!!! read more

I'm really sad to write this review. I started getting my nails done here and thought everyone was very sweet! I get my nails done every few months or so for events, and whenever I came in I would always request Annie. Mind you, I would set my appointments up weeks in advance to make sure she would be available. I had a commercial that I was in, and I show up to the salon I see Annie in the salon, but they put me with a different gal, Lee, even though they said over the phone Annie was available to take me. I was a little upset, but Lee ended up doing a good job so I decided to come back. When I came back I made my appointment a MONTH in advance, but this time I requested Lee since I figured that may work out better and my friend requested Annie. Well I come in for my appointment, I specifically state that I have an appt with Lee. But once again I am placed with someone else, while I watch Lee work on another gal. I'm not sure who I was with this time, she was very sweet Lady, but I hated my nails. I would try to give her adjustments to fix because the shape was lopsided and the dip was so messy, and I wanted a clean French tip. She was kind and tried to take all the adjustments, but my nails just didn't turn out well. I was very sad, because they turned out like a super messy ombré when I wanted a very clean French tip, but I could tell she just could not deliver what I wanted. I ended trying to even them out at home until I just took them off. I have nothing bad to say about the staff as people, they are all very kind, but if even making an appointment a month in advance can't guarantee I get who I want it's just not worth my money anymore. read more

today I had an appointment with x nails in Sherman Oaks for the first and last time! the ladies who did my manicure and pedicure were very unprofessional, very poor customer service and lots of attitude. they certainly didn't know their job. in all past years going to different nail salons this was the worst manicure/pedicure I received. I could do a better job myself at home. they even did a bad job applying the nail polish. the cuticles we're not clipped proper and when I told them that they need to do a complete clean job, they gave me a mean look! and constantly talked to each other it was so obvious they're talking about me. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone and I'm most surprised of few people's good review that made me go there to try. l'm going to a wedding this weekend and am very disappointed with what they did to my nails. literally not worth the money, time, and effort read more
