We came out to see El Harragan Y Cia on 12/14. We had VIP tickets , asked the gentleman at the front if we needed bracelets as we saw people coming back with some , they advised us that we would get them once we got to the front. Again saw more people with bracelets asked another security guard was told the same you'll get it at the front. Got the front and the guy scanning the tickets said we cut in line because we don't have bracelets and wouldn't scan us in told us to get back in line. We argued for about 15 min outside until he finally realized they had been out of bracelets and others in the VIP line were also without their bracelets. The times I've come here have been great, the music/DJ plays a bit of Spanish pop & banda. Drinks are fast to get since there's two bars at opposite ends, and usually have no bathroom lines. The reason I'm giving Xalos one star is because we got the birthday package AND also got charged for entrance ($40) when we got there a little before 10, BUT was told to wait in the same line as the others. So by the time we got to pay, we were charged for everyone's entry fee (we were a party of 8). We only paid cause we were already there and didn't want to ruin our friends night. The worst was when the sign came to our table for less than 5 seconds and with no name. his name is Adan, its literally only four letters (you'll see in the pic). Right when Adan was going to record them, they left to go to the table next to us. My sister was also taken out for vaping but the table behind us were smoking cigarettes and was not told anything. Went on Friday for banda night, it was almost empty, didn't dance one song because it was basically a corridos show.... But still spent over $1,000 for bottle service and it was such a rip off! Asked for their birthday special [that I know they have] and was told there was no Birthday special. The girl at the ticket booth was over charging at the entrance and was rude AF, acting like she owns the place just because her husband is some promoter there. Our waitress was useless and service over all was horrible. Don't waste your time or money.... I heard Malecon is a lot better experience, better service and better ambiance. read more

If I could give this a zero I would.At first they seem really nice and attentive to your bottle service. Upon entering we paid $250 for our table CASH and entered perfectly fine. We thought it was very strange that they charged for refills of the mixers , but of course we paid with no complaint. Though we have done bottle serve prior to this place and have never been charged for more refills for mixers. Once we look at our bank account this morning they charged a $250 dollars to the card that we did not consent to. Nor did we order another bottle. This fraud. I've been here once for Ivy queen Concert it was a horrible experience first of all I reserve a table and they said NOPE no reservation but if you want a table you have to buy a bottle that start $200-$1000 so I get a bottle and when they give me a table they gave me a little round table with 1 chair imagine how upset i was.
