Visited twice and both times were amazing! Unassuming in its location and appearance, this spa is clean, and they are truly skilled professionals at what they do. Rates are reasonable on their own, but they also offer kamaaina discount, and now I found out they also accept my hmsa insurance in part! Can't recall his name but the owner/gentleman who works the front desk is kind and welcoming. Tina and May were my therapists the two different visits and they both were awesome in their own rights! We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village and needed a massage. This place is about a 7 mins walk. We both loved the massage we got. Deep tissue. The masseuse I got was very thorough. We also had our 9 year old daughter with us, she was allowed to stay in the room while I got massage (she just watched videos with earbuds). I'm thankful that she was allowed to wait in room with me. I had the most fabulous massage from Steve at Xanadu massage. Steve is very knowledgeable in the art of massage. Steve put some extra effort in my neck area that had been aching for months. Steve made sure that I was very comfortable and he is extremely professional. I have had many massages in the past but none even came near the quality of this massage. I still feel fantastic! No aches or pains. I walked out of there walking on clouds. Steve did some energy work that was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! My husband and I went for a couples massage at Xanadu while staying at the nearby resort (it is an easy walk from the Prince Waikiki, Ilikai, and Hawaiian Hilton Village. It was clean, pleasant and exactly as the pictures with ambient lighting and spa relax music. Steve and Dina provided truly excellent professional massages. My husband is a gym rat and had injured his lower back while running earlier in the week, and Steve worked his massage and stretching magic and my husband feels so much better! Mei has moved her Spa to a larger location in Eaton Square. This new location is much larger, and the furnishings and decoration are excellent! Her massage beds have warmers built into them, and this is a huge luxury. It just makes the massage so much more beneficial to have a warm bed, you have to experience it to understand! It's awesome! The spa has a nice shower room in case you need to head back to work after your massage. Everything is incredibly clean and well put together in this new location. Add to this, that Mei is one of the best massage therapists I've ever been treated by, and this is a must for anyone who enjoys or needs massage. She offers kama aina rates for locals, and has a flexible schedule for people like me who need to schedule at the last minute. The room looks nothing like the picture it was dark and unpleasant. I spoke with May and scheduled a 90 minute massage with her. She said to come for the appointment but when i arrived she told me she wouldn't be doing the massage and that Lily was good and would do it. Well, Lily wasn't good. I've never had a worse massage in my life. I do not believe Lily was even a trained professional. She spent the first 45 minutes padding and squeezing my body which i found so strange. I've been getting massages for over 40 years and never have i gotten such a horrible massage. I couldn't wait to get off the table because i felt this was a total waste of my time. At one point i was laying on my stomach and she criss crossed my ankles and pushed them forward with too much force. I screamed because i felt she was going to hurt me and she stopped pushing. I would never recommend anyone go here. I feel i was treated dishonestly and disrespectfully by May's commitment to give me my massage.
