Went to handle account business without incident. The clerks were attentive. A good location to discuss business needs.

An overly patronizing staff of elites whose only interest is selling you the most expensive phone…read moreor device. Service is slow with long waits and an equally drawn out and tiring sales pitch and schpeel. Not at all very consumer friendly or helpful. Talk in circles and they act as if they have a university degree in Retail Sciences! If you have a problem, forget about receiving much more than lip service to basically fend for yourself and look it up online. The sole object here is to sell you a phone! An expensive one! While Verizon is the best cellular phone and a leader in its class. These outlets do nothing to enhance Verizon's best image or reputation. Kiosks at C...co, offer far better deals at half the cost, especially if they have a sale going on. I got my S10 for basically half price elsewhere! Key is to shop around and try not to be sold the Brooklyn Bridge by these Verizon stores. Shop around!

My 80 year old father, who happens to be a disabled veteran, went in to this store to add minutes to his prepaid Verizon phone and mentioned to a staff member that he would like to be able to listen to music on his phone, too. Now the staff member could have assessed the situation including the fact that my father rarely uses his phone and sold my father an affordable phone that also plays music. This woman, however, chose to scam my father into purchasing a $780.99 iPhone and to start him on a monthly phone bill that he did not need. I tried to show my dad how to use the phone, but he couldn't figure it out. My dad is a brilliant man in a lot of ways, but he sustained a head injury in the Air Force years ago, and certain things he just can't get. This was one of those things. He also mixed up that he had 15 days to return the phone not 30 days as he told us. My parents went to return the phone, but the store would not allow them to do so and told them they would have the manager call them. The manager never called. A store employee also very rudely stated that my father, "Knows how to use a credit card," when my mom was trying to explain why they should take the phone back. I called corporate Verizon to see if I could get to the bottom of the situation. The people from Verizon were very nice and tried to assist, but because this location is an authorized retailer and not a corporate owned store, they could not authorize the return of the phone. They advised that my parents return to the store when the manager returned to work later in the week. My parents returned to the store to see if the manager would approve returning the phone, but the manager said he would not. He was well aware of my dad's status as a disabled veteran and still told my mom, "Well, no one held a gun to his head," when my mother expressed how upset she was that this sales person scammed my dad into buying this ridiculously expensive phone. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have contacted some attorneys to see what we can do, but is most likely we will be stuck trying to sell the phone. Corporate Verizon was kind enough to let my dad cancel the cell phone plan. The only action I know we can take is to spread the word that this store scammed a disabled veteran and were then rude and condescending to someone who wanted nothing more than his money back. Please warn your friends and family to avoid this store!
