Stores are fine. My complaint is the service. I called to transfer service for October 30 to my new address I'm home we are are buying in the meantime the house that we have right now they disconnected my service three times I spent several hours on the phone with them trying to get my service turn back and then they have the balls to call and tell me that I have an account in Florida that's past due they hung up on me so I guess they didn't like my screaming at them but the point of the matter is they suck they need to get their act together and learn how to manage a company so big if they're greedy enough to make it that big Comcast you suck read more

Comcast needs to work on their online location finder. They told me the nearest place to Geneva to return my Xfinity box was Oak Brook, or Schaumburg, or maybe Dekalb. Fortunately, a Google search revealed this location, and then I went online and made an appointment for an hour later. Got there 5 minutes before my appointment and was done 2 minutes later. If you live in this area you have other options! Comcast Xfinity will gouge you on prices and services with lock-in and anti-competitive practices. The customer service is atrocious and this location in particular will leave you waiting for 30 minutes while employees stand around talking with one another. Had Comcast years ago, left after several issues and poor customer service. Back in area so checked out again. Really like the local store presence, seems like they have turned around customer service in some ways. Install was rough. First the self install didn't work, then installer had to run new lines into the house (hence why self install wouldn't work) and then charged for install even though there was no way to do the self install without a tech. Worked out in end, just a pain and don't feel should've been charged. Cable and internet seem really good. Really like the movies available for free, on demand features, and voice remotes. Biggest issue is the channel lineup is completely non-nonsensical. The HD channels aren't correlated to the SD, order seems random at best, and really hard to find a channel without just speaking it. read more

I was told a price for a package. I was told my channels would not change. I was told I would get 24 months of HBO included. The price was higher. I get fewer channels. I do not get HBO. I called customer support and they were useless. Basically, if I want the package I was promised I have to go back into the store and talk to the sales rep to see if he can honor the deal. read more

I went there to try to get Internet service at my home and the person I was dealing with had problems with making my address work. When she couldn't get the address to work she told me service isn't available in my area. I live in a townhouse building and my neighbors on both sides of me have comcast. Then she tried to tell me a previous owner must have an unpaid bill. I've owned the townhouse since construction and never had cable. She then told me that's why I couldn't get Internet put in, because I wasn't an existing customer. When I pointed out that made zero sense, that Comcast wouldn't spend millions on advertising if they weren't taking on new customers, she just glared at me. She took down my info, said she'd take care of making it work, and would call me back when service would be available. She told me it would take about 24 hours to fix. When I asked about pricing she refused to talk to me about that and said she'd be in contact. Well over a week later and I've not heard back from Comcast and my address still shows invalid when I look online. Good thing AT&T knows my house exists... read more

If there were negative points, I would have them on here. Let's start with whether you want one or not Comcast sets up a comcast email account for you. Then they do not let you know that you supposedly have to use it to get into your account to see your bills. I set mine up with a gmail account in August last year and not until the last 3 months have i had trouble. Sadly the trouble is trying to get to my pdf of my current bill. They also promise credits on your account for this because each time it has taken over 2 hours on the phone and chat to get them to try to resolve the issue and they can't. The billing department does not have access to the current bills or email to be able to send them to you. Technical support cannot see that they website is not working when you login to your account you set up wtih gmail and then they make up some story about having to only access through the account they set up for you and didn't tell you about that uses a comcast email you didn't even know you had. Then the security code you thought you had isn't it and they will not tell you what it is. And the comcast account they set up, you can't get into. Over 2 hours today and still haven't been able to get into my pdf bill. Apparently, Comcast doesn't really want to be paid. read more
