My boyfriend and I came in as new customers for a mobile and internet plan under the guise of a promotion we would never receive. They said get the 1100mbp internet service plan 5 year locked in and you get a $200 visa gift card included. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! We were promised a $200 visa gift card which they were promoting over there entire store. The representative David we signed up with ensured we would get the gift card via mail or email in 2 weeks, after it didn't come a week after the 2 weeks I spoke with support about this specific event via chat, phone call, and coming in store. I messaged Xfinity and emailed them on multiple occasions with no update or return email. The online and phone call reps tell me to wait a month and to check the incentive tracker then after a month I'm told it's supposed to come after 3 bill cycles. Now since May I'm told I'm a liar by Steven the manager of this location that they cannot honor it. That there was no $200 visa gift card incentive applied to my plan and my account has zero notes of me advocating for myself on what was promised to me for signing up for their mid service. I was told I'm ridiculous for assuming they can go back as far as May to find a promotion. They said they would honor the $200 however and put it to my bill. What a joke this place is. They told me coincidentally David the man who signed us up was fired since then. And that I can try calling support again who told me to come into the store to deal with this TRASH company! I wish I never left T-Mobile I have never dealt with such TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I will be reaching out to the BBB since this seems to be a reoccurring SCAM by Xfinity. read more

Stopped in waited there for 45mins. Looking around saw an employee come out of the glass cubical. She went to her desk called my name and asked me what brings me in? In a rude way! I was there with my cousin. She asked for the phone number I gave it to her twice and said nothing was found. Gave her my address and nothing. I gave the account number and still nothing. Then I said my cousins girlfriends name and right away she says you gotta call customer service. I couldn't ask her any questions or anything. My cousin was there last time and they helped him so why not this time. Listen when you have a one on one with a manager don't be rude to customers leave that for later or after work. I am on week two of Xfinity blocking my work apps and VPN. I have spent 10-15 hours on tech call with the same run around, same questions, and same issue. They scheduled an appointment for a tech today. Never showed up. Sites work on older routers, hotspot, and coffee shops. Tech calls are unresponsive, menu repeats (say main menu) and it keeps going in a loop. Ask for tech level 2, they disconnect you, try to call a store? It goes to the 800 number with the same issue. Ask a refund? They say they can't until the issue is resolved. Pay billing period happened? No refund. We don't have AT& T fiber out here so that is not an option. Comcast has a lot of "I am sorry for your bad experience" but zero we will fix it. Zero f**king stars. read more

Literally, I was rushed in and out in under 5 minutes when they opened on Sunday a few weeks ago (the day my current 24 month promo expired). Me: I need to cancel, unless you can give me a better plan. You're doubling my rates and I don't need it. Xfinity Rep at the store: I can repackage your current deal for $54.99/month. You'll get Starz instead of HBO, but otherwise it's exactly the same. Me: Really? Great. So to verify, that will be 100mbps internet speed and 100+ channels? Her: yes. It's exactly what you have now. Me: Awesome. Fast forward a week, I get back to my apartment in Evanston, and my internet is slow AF, and my channels are gone. I think maybe it's the weather and crappy reception. I give it another week while I try to work out the fact that they want me to prepay a $130 bill for a service period (feb-march) that hasn't started yet and is not part of my promo. That finally gets resolved. Then I chat with an online agent as long as I'm already whining about my insane bill and the fact that it won't let me pay online. Me: Can you please verify my internet speed and channels? After my new promo period started, everything is slow and my channels are gone. Agent: You get up to 75 mbps and 10 channels. Me: That's not what I was told. I was told I would get the exact same package I had before. Agent: I'm sorry you were misinformed. You were at 100mbps and 100 channels. You now are at 75 and 10. Me: Okay, how do I cancel? Another brilliant move by Xfinity. I drove an hour out of my way when I was visiting family in the burbs to go to the Xfinity store in person after being told 3 different things online by their reps trying to get a new promo deal (all of whom promised awesome deals, but then an hour later were like "oh just kidding, you're not eligible for that). I was thinking that in-person I would get better service. Turns out they lie and make up their own B.S. in-person, too. Barbara was the rep that was helping me and wouldn't give up until she made sure everything was in order. They told me I was unlocked, so i switched to different carrier, they would not release my phone number. In the store and on the phone for over 3 hours . The staff at the Batavia store Jose Hurtado and the store manager) were horrible. Their training and customer service skills are zero. They doubled my bill, and when I tried to switch to a more reputable company they would not release my phone no., and could not even accommodate my request to temporarily re-instate, so I would be without cell service, since it was already paid for till the 24th of the month (19 more days). WARNING: Do NOT Let Them Give You A Cable Box HERE! Every Cable box at this location is a refurbished model that was broken or had a technical flaw. 50% of the refurbished cable boxes at this location are still broken, have never even seen a technician after their return by an angry customer, but instead simply placed on a slab of cardboard and shrink-wrapped for the next victim. I have been through 6 different "refurbished" cable boxes - all of which came from this location. When asking for a NEW cable box, they explain that COMCAST has stopped making any NEW cable boxes. They have discontinued every cable box, including the "new" X1 Cable box. They simply have refurbished devices and even the warehouse only has a limited supply of unused cable boxes. After demanding a 7th box over the phone from Xfinity Tech Support, they actually shipped me an all-new X1 box. Then, after 7 hours on the phone - with tinkering with the settings digitally and sending refresh signals - I finally had a working device. We went in to discuss switching our 3 phones over from Version to Comcast. We were quickly dispatched over to Nelsons desk. Nelson was quick and good at explain the service option and we lowered our bill from $165.00 to $102.00. We had 3 different phones and Nelson had no problem getting the sims switched and the #s moved to the new service. This was so easy I wish I had done it sooner so if you have another carrier pay off your phone and give Comcast a try. read more

Must confess, when my wife and I walked into the store, was very skeptical of the store staff being able to help us. We had a previous issue still being handled by online customer service over a primary ID issue. We were at the store because I had recently had my phone stolen , and was looking at getting a new phone. Our previously mentioned ID issue had not allowed us to login into our Xfinity mobile account to not only get a new phone but also to make sure service on the stolen phone was stopped. The staff besides being very courteous, were also very knowledgeable. Once we explained our situation, they not only sought to solve our problem with the phone, but also to resolve the ID issue that online customer service could not. Braden, Nelson and Eddie, or as I call them, the 3 wise men, solved all our issues. They went above and beyond what we had asked them to do. They were professional, persistent and when they had many of chances to give up, they were determined we were not leaving until they exhausted every last option for us. They solved all our issues, even those not involving the stolen phone. I know Xfinity customer service tends to take a beating, but the staff at the Batavia store couldn't have give any customer service better than we received. DO NOT signup with Xfinity Mobile. If you have a problem-They either can't, won't or are unable to fix the problem. Customer service is just "lip service". Since Nov 2018 they have billed me sales tax and fees for mobile service I do not have. They were unable to port over my phone. They acknowledge that the charges are wrong but are either unwilling or unable to fix the problem. We have called, text, emailed, private messaged several time yet my credit card continues to be charged. I have had to resort to disputing charges with my credit card company who, fortunately have reversed the charges. Once that's done, Xfinity tells me I am past due (for service I don't have) and bills my card again. I am already a customer with internet and a landline phone. This company is only getting a one start because it won't let me give NO stars for me to post this. I talked with two people regarding my WiFi bill after you guys sent someone out to fix my WiFi that I didn't have for 3 days. I was on the phone with a lady named "Susie" regarding the fact that I needed to change my password because it wasn't letting me change it on my phone through the app. I called and basically I HAD signal the whole time, but I just couldn't remember my password and I was trying to look it up in my phone from the app and couldn't find it. I explained this to the lady On the phone and over an hour long phone call, she managed to turn off my signal completely and then leave me with no signal at and still not a solution to fixing my password. Are you kidding me?!?! She then told me that she wouldn't be able to have someone to come out for 3 days. I then asked her if I was going to be charged for the days I don't have WiFi and she said NO. They lady I spoke with on the phone said that I WOULD NOT BE CHARGED FOR THE DAYS I DIDN'T HAVE WIFI and I WAS charged for those days. You are the WORST company. I will be on the phone for a simple question, and it turns into a five hour phone call and NOTHING GETS RESOLVED!! I had to pay for the days I didn't even have WiFi and YOUR company said I wouldn't. I have had so many problems with this company for internet. My bill has also gone up from $45 to $70. What the heck! No problems with the store but with Comast/xfinity tech service. The technician was contracted to put another cable outlet in a room. He did but removed the phone jack. His work broke my alarm system. I had to find out when the alarm company called and then schedule a visit for them to fix it. I called Comcast and they said I was still to owe them the $60 for the service visit even though the work broke the alarm. I now pay north of $250 for my Xfinity service each month. I was having difficulty setting up internet over the phone with both Comcast and AT&T because my address is a little strange . I decided to try and go into this xfinity store to get things worked out and they were beyond amazing. They helped figure out the issues with my address in their system, got me the equipment, explained setup, and gave me the manager's direct line in case their fix didn't work. Despite the small amount that I would be paying every month they made me feel like a valued customer. They were incredibly polite and helpful. I left the store impressed. Their fix did work but even if they had been unable to resolve my issue, I would have recommended them wholeheartedly for their outstanding customer service. read more
