This review is simply not big enough to review Xfinity/Comcast as a whole. In general, I despise this entity and view them as a money sucking bottomless pit of evil. My cable keeps going up and has now eclipsed lunacy. This, however, does not overshadow some individual level efforts on the part of the employees. Today, I went in to discuss my cable bill which is now 400 dollars a month. The conversation of "cutting the cord" is being had at my house. When we entered, we were greeted by an exceptionally pleasant and well groomed young man named Tyler. You'll know him as he had a really cool handlebar type mustache that really fits him. He treated us like people. He answered our questions and helped us make an actual appointment the following day, the forty five minute wait time simply didn't fit our schedule. Please do not repeat my mistake and trust Xfinity. I'm not usually one to write reviews, but unfortunately, the circumstance warrants one. This has been the worst customer service experience of my entire life. As a long time Xfinity customer, I expected an easy setup when moving to a new home. However, we have been shuttled and shunted around while Xfinity as a company avoids assisting us. For over a week, we have not had internet set up. Xfinity has apparently scheduled 2 service visits to our home and has never shown up. We have spent well over 5 hours via call and chat trying to resolve to no avail. We've been without internet for almost a week, and we cannot work from our office (home), leading to a serious loss of income. Everyone has an excuse for why they cannot help, but to be honest, this has been a nightmare that never ends. If you have any other options, use them. Nothing can be worth this kind of headache. Xfinity- if you're reading this, feel free to call me and resolve it. I doubt that you will be willing or able to. read more

Everyone at this location are untrained liars. Buyers beware. Representative told me I could bring my trade in phone back to the store after I received my new phone. After multiple trips into the store because of technical issues on their end I finally received my new phone in the mail, transferred everything to it, and when I brought the phone back for the trade in then my said they could only handle a trade in on the same day and that it was my problem now. They also added my credit card onto the account as a main form of payment instead of running the card for a single transaction for the purchase of the phone which I had to fix after so that my card wouldn't start getting charged instead of my bank account. I will never shop here again and I will be moving all of my lines off Xfinity as soon as possible as well as making sure every single human I meet for the rest of my life chooses another company to do business with. Disgusting way to handle business making promises and then blaming training and stuff arming your loyal customers. Was told I was charged for a month of service that Xfinity knew I didn't need because I had requested to stop service. Told me they had refunded me. Called when I never received the refund. After MANY hours talking to 'customer service' that lied repeatedly about the fact they had refunded me, finally got the number for the third party company that does the refunds. It's called OBNE and the number is 888-472-0211. Called them and guess what? THEY said they had never refunded me because Xfinity never told them to. THIEVES AND LIARS!!!! If I could give zero stars I would. I signed up for home internet and phone service through Xfinity and had some questions about my new service and was unable to get through to customer service. I went into the store at 7400 W Alaska dr in Lakewood and was met with nothing but disrespect. The store was a complete mess. The employees were standing around talking with each other, and when I asked the gentleman in the front of the store a couple of basic questions about Xfinity, the manager, Alfredo Ochoa, approached me very confrontationally, and told me he would take care of me. He was extremely disrespectful and dismissive. He then started getting very close to me and puffing up his chest. I came into the store because the customer service number won't let you talk to a live person, and the Alfred Ochoa started squaring up with me... I was completely blown away and so was every single person in the store. He then told me that I was being a girl about the situation and if I didn't like it, I could leave. Is this how Xfinity treats its customers? I am completely appalled by the disrespect from this entire store. If I was his general manager, he would be fired immediately. It is a terrible look for Xfinity to have this disgrace of an employee be the face of their business. I wish nothing but the worst for him and that store. I've been a client for well over 20 years, never missed a payment have done all the upgrades myself and maintained my equipment as it were my own. I don't see a general listing for Xfinity/Comcast, so I am writing my review on the Lakewood Xfinity site. Without my approval Xfinity automatically put me on paperless billing. Now, I am unable to see my billing details, even after logging into its website. I tried to reach customer service, but only was able to reach the Virtual Assistant, which couldn't address my problem. I e-mailed Tom Karinshak, Xfinity President and Chief Customer Experience Officer, but got a response from an intern named Kim P, who told me to access Xfinity on a smartphone app. However, I told Kim P. that I have always been able to see my account by signing in to the Xfinity website using my home desktop computer and that I wanted to continue to use my home computer. Apparently, my complaint was referred to tech support, who seem to think the issue involves my Xfinity e-mail. Whereas, the issue has nothing to do with my e-mail, I just want to see my itemized bill for the present month. I've had many issues with Xfinity over the years. Though I have been a Comcast/Xfinity customer since the mid-1980's, I do not want to waste anymore of my time dealing when Xfinity. I will be cancelling my service with Xfinity soon! Stop don't even consider doing business with Xinfity mobile. My experience has been a NIGHTMARE! I wish I had stayed with my original carrier that I had for 15 years. The lower cost has not materialized. They made many promises that I have in writing, but my bill is still much higher than I was quoted. It also took them over eight hours to set up the Iphone and numerous trips to the store. Sophya and her managers gave up on setting up the Apple watch and sent me to the Apple Store. Uggh! I showed up at the store several weeks later and was told I should of mailed it in. Uggh! Needless Sophya had not provided me with any instructions. . Xfinity/Comcast became the bottom of the barrel. Starts off with horrible customer service. Now for my problem, we pay over $150 a month for very basic cable. One box works, 2nd box channels come in half spanish, in which we can't understand and our 3rd box won't let us watch cable on it at all. I called and they said, oh we will reset the box for you. Still the same problem after 2 attempts. We pay $150 for basically subpar service. I am shopping to go elsewhere. Waited about 10 minutes to be helped, the lady I worked with was pleasant and the whole process took about another 10 minutes. The horrible treatment that I received at Xfinity was quite shocking and appalling. I had cancelled my Xfinity service and needed to return my equipment at the Xfinity store. I waited for 39 minutes as current or new customers who arrived after me were seen before me. Finally, I went up to say something and I was told to sit down and wait my turn. I explained that I was just here to return equipment and I've been waiting for 39 minutes. I informed him that I was going to file a complaint with BBB because I feel I was intentionally kept waiting because I had cancelled my service. Also it was apparent that new and current customers were being prioritized when all I needed to do was return my equipment since I had cancelled. He started yelling at me and told me to get out of his store and that I could take the equipment to UPS. It was unacceptable behavior and I've never been asked to leave a business or had a "customer" service rep raise their voice at me. I have a cluster of downed wires in my back yard. There is a ball of them, and they are touching the ground. Originally I called Excel energy, and within 24 hours Excel arrived to deal with the wire. That is when they told me it is a Comcast wire. I contact Comcast the moment Excel Energy left. That was weeks ago. I have sense been in contact with Comcast three times. I am repetedly told that someone will be by to clean up the cluster of open, down wires. NO ONE has yet to show up to solve the problem. Never have I received a phone call, or been contacted. This brand struggles to make friends. It's mostly an average of hatred towards them. This branch is convenient. Shares a garage with Whole Foods. If you shop at WF you can park there and walk next door to this branch. Now why three stars? I think it's the wait. There was a zombie like crowd waiting to be helped when we walked in. Not enough chairs. Nor enough staff to help the crowd. I counted 4 staff against a group of close to 20 customers. Each one taking an average of 15-30 minutes each. The staff tries very hard to give you a great experience with a bottle of water to start with. Or the opportunity to be called by one of them on the phone same day so you don't wait in line at the store. Sounds promising right? No way experienced people took that deal. We all know that over the phone help is seldom a help at all. So yeah most people there rejected that offer and waited half hour to look into a staff's eyes and get that promise that your company will start my service at the time you said you would and at the price you said you would at the speed you promised. So yeah. Trust earned takes a while to build. Keep working on it. But based on the service provided that day it's was a four star experience. read more

I know, I know, everyone hates Comcast (me included), but it is what it is. I had to return some equipment to this store in Belmar. It is located near the Whole Foods. Tons of parking in the covered lot around back. Really light and bright store with a big seating area with a curved TV. Their biggest problem seems to be that they think everyone that walks in understands they need to go to an iPad and check in (nobody tells you). Next problem, the assumption that everyone that walks in understands to how to use and iPad (at least 2 in front of me had no idea and we all had to help - WE HELPED, NOT EMPLOYEES). Once checked in, they have a visual and audible (they yell) paging system. It is relatively fast. Employees do their basic jobs, but do not ask them to move from their spot or help in any way on the floor. read more

If I'm in the market for internet service then what are the odds I can "go online and get prices". Epic fail!
