Do not trust the Sales Rep BOB. This sales rep sold us a package with contract by miss informing prices and contract and also requested the we should not contact the customer care for few weeks because he is personally trying to get some special deal for us through backend emails. As most might know how it is to work with Comcast customer csre, this mess this sales rep Bob got us into, took about 6 months to clean up with the customer care and even had to do corporate level escalation to get the issue resolved. Worst service ever I went in there today at 1250 and there was only one person in front of me, to say the least the lady skips my name and calls the man who came in after me for the same service. Terrible customer service, not only at the store, but the whole company. Ordered internet for an elderly neighbor, was told I could go to the nearest store to pick the equipment up for him. Got to the store and was told that unless my name was on the account also, I could not pick equipment up. Comcast employee on phone did not tell me that. We decided to have the equipment shipped, was supposed to have been delivered Friday, it is Monday and it finally arrived, but isn't working correctly. We called Comcast, explained the situation, we were told that they would do am "emergency" service call and that a tech would be at the house between 4 and 6 today, it is now 7:30 and no tech! I signed up for Comcast teleworker business internet service that was offered by my Company. I was told Comcast residential and business are not connected and I could not get any type of bundle deal with T.V and internet even though it is the same company. The Manager quoted me an extremely high price for T.V. (which is why I left DirecTv in the first place, and went to Comcast.) I told him I wouldn't pay that high price and I would have to disconnect my service. He said "fine" and told the customer service rep that was helping me, to disconnect my service. This guy was salty and had an attitude. Not Friendly or even trying to act like he cared one bit. He made zero effort to negotiate any type of deal with me. I went back to DirecTv today and they quoted my a really good television package which I accepted. I really liked the service at this store a year ago. A lot of people that worked there then, are no longer working now. Service is definitely not as good. read more

This is a fairly new location and their service is horrible. There was only one customer in there and the rep kept me waiting for 20 minutes when she went inside to ask her boss on a question that I asked. The phone service was also horrible. The service guy send me a box for my internet upgrade and told me it's free, but ended up charging me an additional 55.95 MONTHLY for high speed internet that I already had. They will tell you they want to help you but always sneak in extra charges that you found in the next monthly billing. DO NOT sign up any services with this place. Big shoutout for great customer service. Been here several times. They great you at the door, get you to a knowledgable person and are honest about selling you what you need. They upgraded my service , upgraded my receivers, etc. today I went in to get a signal booster for my guest house. Rather than sell me an inadequate unit they directed me to a retailer to buy what I needed. They even verified it was in stock. Xfinity, a great product but increasingly becoming ridiculously expensive. over $200 for a mid range entertainment package is just over the top. I thought my previous cost about 20% less was expensive but I justified the cost because it is a good product with only the occasional expected service issues. Now with new price hikes over $200 per month is moving into car payment territory and at $2,400 yearly much more than my cars yearly insurance premium. Xfinity needs some serious competition & IMHO better trained customer service reps. My advice work hard to cut the cord. read more

Might have been good timing? I came by here on a Saturday at 1pm and there wasn't a wait list. I was assisted within 2 minutes of entering. There was a certain deal I was planning to get, I explained to the woman who helped me and she knew exactly what I was asking for. She didn't try to upsell me or give me a hard time with the plan I wanted. Signed me up and gave me the boxes I needed. Sent me home and I had to call in to activate my internet. I did have trouble with Comcast phone support which required me to call twice (not the stores fault). I did also have to call in to have a signal sent to one of the tv boxes because it didn't work by just plugging it in, but I cannot confirm if it was the woman at the comcast store who did it incorrectly or just comcast itself. I did see her scan all of the boxes so I assume she did everything she was suppose to in store. Have my internet and TV all up and running with the Plan I originally came in for. So honestly, the speed of their internet is not bad. You get what you pay for in terms of mbps or even higher sometimes... IF you can connect. The first time, I was just in there to switch out my modem, and the guy who was helping me told me about an internet promotion that was $20 a month less than what I was paying. I was at the Saratoga store to sign up for Internet under the promo deal for new customer. The process was pretty fast. However when I asked to confirm the price of the plan, it was $10 more than what was advertised online. When I shown the promo deal to the guy at the store, he was not interested in checking and insisted that the price in his system is correct. He is not helpful at all, and he even asked me to call hotline instead. And when I called the hotline to enquire, they said the promo should be valid and they do not know why the store is charging $10 more. And they will make changes to reflect the rightful promo price. My Internet speed was super slow and the phone technician determined it was my modem. He said that I could just swap it at this store. I had looked and seen some terrible reviews about long waits and poor service but I found the opposite. When I walked in the door a representative saw the modem in my hand and said "are you hear to exchange the modem?" I said "yes" and in less than a minute I had a new modem at the desk and was giving a signature for the exchange. The representative could not have been more pleasant and I can't imagine how it would be possible to get better service. read more

The larger gentleman that checked me in was super nice. I was returning my equip because we got a house to rent w my parents and they have dish. Comcast is expensive as hell anyway. So, I get to the store, greeted and checked in by a very nice man. Honestly, he should be the one interacting with the customers. Not the guy who "helped" me. I guess when you're bringing back equip since you're no longer a customer you no longer deserve good customer service. So dude calls me (looked mixed black and something else). Said what do you need. I said im returning equip. He sat down looking at computer didnt say anything then stares at me says 'did you bring it with you?' Well duh, figured he would at least ask if i had info. Nope. Scanned the box, no friendliness AT ALL. Completely devoid of all human emotion hands me a receipt. Keeps typing. Im like ok he's going to scan the other boxes too. So i'm sitting there in silence and finally about 4 minutes later he says "oh, you're done that's it". No "thank you" no "have a nice day" not even an "f you". It would help if you didn't sit there like a deaf mute and actually informed people when they are finished. Good God. Look, I know you're life probably sucks and you have a shite job, but damn dude, that's on you. Don't take it out on the world because you're life sucks. Many people in "customer service" have absolutely NO BUSINESS working those types of jobs. It's pretty pathetic. But, suck it up. Been there. At least fake it or something. Needless to say even if the slim chance arises that I ever go back to comcast, I would never return to this store. I don't have time for rude ass people that take it out on everyone else. I have to report that I had a positive experience at this store today, when turning in my cancelled equipment due to my Xfinity phone service not working properly. Expecting a real hassle, I got there right at 9:00 a.m. and was immediately helped by Janet. She was quite pleasant and scanned my equipment into her system without me having to ask for a "return equipment receipt". Now waiting for my final bill from Corporate to close out my account. Overall, I am left with a positive feeling about Comcast and will seriously consider giving them my business again when I need Triple-play service in the future. read more

This review is for the store locates at 1600 Saratoga Ave, Ste 32, San Jose, CA 95129. This store and its manager deserve one star, if I can give them 0 star I would do that for their business scam. I have been a customer with Xfinity for their internet and WiFi services for years. I was invited to join Xfinity mobile services so I placed an order for 2 iPhone last Saturday but for some reason the order was not processed; therefore this morning I came back to place the new order with the 2 iPhone they have in store. While we were still talking about the order and with the question I asked them about the phones, "Can I use the phones when I am travelling outside of the United States?" They said I can use them after 30 days of service, at that time the phone will be unblocked. This was totally different from the previous explanation that they could provide me a temporary unblocked service and these technical support they should explain me before I placed the order. With that reason I couldn't place the order since I will be charged about $300 a month and I couldn't use the phones for my next travel will be next Sunday. When I decided to cancel the order, the staff at the store (I don't want to mention his name here) told me I am being charged for $70 for restock fee even though I was there only a few seconds after they provided me about the order details. I didn't have a chance to look at the phones or touched them and no chance to take them out of the store and bring them back . I am totally unsatisfied with their customer service and this business scam needs to be reviewed and removed from Xfinity. How can you charge me a restocking fee when the stock never left the storage room. I did not even complete this business transaction. read more

I bought a new cable modem so I didn't have to pay the $10 rental fee to Comcast. I did not look forward to an hour plus wait at Comcast's service center on 10th Street. Did a search on Yelp and saw that they now have a service center at 1600 Saratoga Ave. Walked in with my rental modem and was waited on immediately! After giving me a receipt for rental modem, I was asked if I wanted a review of my account. I said yes, and ended up having same level of service with a $30 reduction in my monthly bill. Also I was told that I had an old DVR, if I brought it in and got the X1 DVR it cost $7 a month less then what my old DVR cost. The new DVR had 2 times the storage and I could record 4 programs at once, my old DVR could only record 2 at a time! Two days later I walked in to the store and was waited on immediately, 5 minutes later walked out with a new DVR! read more

We recently transferred our cellular service from Verizon to Xfinity. We were assisted at the Saratoga store by Daniel Falumu, the Retail Assistant Store Manager. We purchased two new Android phones and almost all information was transferred perfectly but we ran into a technical challenge transferring our text history. Daniel spent a number of hours working to resolve the problem and could not have been nicer and more patient while working on the issue. We are retired so we had the time to wait. We were so grateful that Daniel was willing to spend the time to correct the problem. He would not give up. He eventually came up with a solution which worked perfectly. Daniel then provided his card and said to contact him should we ever need to do so in the future. He has a lot of cellular experience in his background and really knows his way around a cell phone!! It was such a pleasure to work with someone who is so customer service oriented. I can see why he is part of the management team!! read more
