So I checked my account and sure enough I was signed up and going to be charged for these unwanted services on my next bill. I canceled them, waited a day, checked my estimated next bill and saw the upgrade charge in there. I looked through all of the documents in my account, all of my emails from Verizon and could not find a receipt for payment made. I called what I thought was the store I went to, got an off-site representative and after answering many questions and explaining the issue, finally received a receipt my email. *My final opinion and advice - watch out and triple check everything!!!!

As I work in Lansing I requested my mother to go and pick it up Wednesday where she was told and called me and put the phone on speaker that the Liquid Metal they had actually wasn't correct and the new Liquid Metal would be there later that day. I eventually showed up to the store the 27th where I was told again the Liquid Metal wasn't there and I requested a tracking number and better updates. The shop claimed they had reached out but after review of my phone records no attempts were made until after that Saturday. They eventually put the new Liquid Metal in when it had arrived and messaged me about this and then called telling me the fix did not work. On Thursday July 2nd my mother had returned to pick up the laptop. When I came home July 3rd to see if everything worked out good I find many more Scrapes and scratches on the laptop and when turning it on the fans had a hitting sound leading me to believe the laptop was assembled incorrectly when picked up. The 1 star rating does not reflect my opinion of this store as I believe it to be much lower. I find it insane to charge nearly 200$ for a Liquid Metal replacement then after 2 weeks of waiting receiving a laptop that has more issues than when I dropped it off. This store created more issues to the point i don't feel comfortable turning this laptop back on. A new laptop in 2024 that cost 3600$ that now is a paperweight till a competent repair place looks into this and hopefully can repair it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PC'S HERE.

I went onto Yelp, my go-to resource, and found Metro Detroit Phone Repair. They responded to my request for quote and they're on my way home, so I figured I would give them a try. My phone screen was not in stock at their location, but they ordered it and said it would be in within 5 business days. The screen arrived, they installed it, I stopped by to pick it up, but when they were prepping the phone to return to me the tech somehow managed to crack the screen. Who knew these things were so fragile? Another new screen ordered, another week waiting for it to come in, the screen was installed and the phone was returned to me with no cracks! Hallelujah! Despite the extra delay in getting my phone back I would still recommend them to you. After all, they still did a better job than I would have!

My appointment was set for the day they moved their store to the local Meijer. I showed up and the only tech there took care of me (I had called earlier also) and took care of me as he should of. Found out my only issue was the electrical outlet I was using for my charger. Not my phone, my new charger or lightning cable. Nothing of mine. Took care of me as quickly as it was to observe, took care of me as a regular client and charged me appropriately. Will for sure go back after my experience with the tech and manager.
