Ok, the come on pitch is $15/month mobile phone service. BUT...this is for just 1 GB of data! Didn't realize that, so I stupidly signed up. I had two phones; one of which was too old for the 'offer' so I stupidly purchased a phone on-site. After about 3 days, I got a message that I had used up the 1 GB and they would gladly add 3 GBs. Great. BS. I 'thought' that the offer was for unlimited text/talk. And, technically, it is if you connect to WiFi at home or hot spots if you are driving. But who the F does this? So, back to Consumer Cellular. I really just hate the come on pitch of $15 without getting the full story. Not great business model. No stars customer service SUCKS! I pay $13 for a rental modem WiFi box. Was $10 5years ago same box - have to reboot twice a day. I call and call says no problem with the line just nasty! They will replace it will FREE wow but NOT ship for free. Here now waiting FOREVER to return.. I just returned it. I have to say, after reading the reviews I was dreading having to head to the store. I walked in just after 5:00 and there was no wait! The associate Jay called us right over. He was extremely pleasant and knew his stuff! Helped with replacing our old modem and checked our plan and was able to upgrade our service AND save us money! For someone who can't stand calling them up and dealing with the crappy customer service... this wasn't bad. We upgraded our service so we needed to pick up the new cable box. We drove to the Wellington location since all the others were closed. This branch has a great location in a shopping center. My boyfriend waited and I walked over to get us some smoothies. Very convenient since that's what we were in the mood for. Comparison to the Comcast location on 45th St. this is very nice store. We were greeted nicely at the entrance and were told a few minutes. A few minutes was more like 20-30 mins which still wasn't bad. The transaction was smooth and done quickly once our name was called. Over all, I'm happy with the service of this location. read more

Let me just make sure everyone knows the title of this location - it is called the Xfinity STORE by Comcast. The wonderful team members in this store are all well equipped to handle the setup of new service for TV, internet, home phone, home security, and now cell phones. There is a great group of friendly, knowledgeable people here that will be able to help you every step of the way. You can also add to your existing service, as well and return and exchange equipment if you've cancelled service or if something isn't working. What they DO NOT do in this STORE is deal with billing and technical issues. They can help explain your bill, and they can set up a technician to visit your home, but they cannot issue you credit or fix your technical issues. I think that is the number one thing everyone needs to realize before coming to this store. I understand that the company can make a lot of things a headache, but don't take it out on the wonderful folks that work in this store. It's not fair to them. I would recommend calling the Corporate Customer Care line (215-665-1700) if you have pressing billing or technical issues. If you go to this store for the right matter, you'll leave very happy. read more

Even to drop off you have to wait. You walk in and the dude at front desk takes your stuff, but then gives you a ticket and you have to wait for them to call you like motor vehicle. Comcast is known for horrible customer service, but I was treated real well when I went. if you run into problems like I did and have to come back the same day, the front desk guy will probably recognize you, but if not just communicate and they will give your case priority. first tip is to use the bathroom before you get there as the bathrooms are onesies and get lines. second tip is to check equipment before leave as mine was broken in package. next tip is to ask them if bill will stay same as I unknowingly got an upgrade device that could cost more per month. last tip is to make sure the boxes will connect same way. oops, the remotes all come with batteries. read more

I had a really bad experience here and I had a really good experience here. The reason for my 2 stars rating is because one shouldn't have to be anxious or uneasy about going to a store. My bad experience- I went to get a new service and I was really happy to see a Mexican worker so that I may better explain myself. When I approached him and asked him if he spoke Spanish (a rhetorical question I thought), he rudely told me that he didn't speak Spanish, looked me up and down, and started laughing in my face which promoted the client next to him to laugh at me too, and he turned and walked away. So I left, pretty embarrassed and feeling quite discriminated. This was the worst customer I've ever received and this is a company that thrives on good customer service. My good experience- I went back to the store with someone that can help me with my bad English. I was hoping to God not to get the Mexican who doesn't speak Spanish. I mean, the man doesn't even look Latin American, South American, or like he might be from the Caribbean, he looks like 90% of Mexico and I've never met a Mexican who doesn't speak Spanish. Luckily, I got Cory which is on a different side of the store from him. He helped me even with my bad English, was very professional, courteous, and everything he should be as an employee that deals with customer service. Oh Comcast... You sure know how to ruin a good thing... I will start off by saying this Comcast center USED TO BE fantastic. Even for Comcast it really was. There could be 50 people inside - but they were fully staffed and they would run through their que very quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, the employees behind the counter knew what they were doing. And so, when that's how this location was run, it was alright to deal with... Fast forward about a year or so to now, this location is either SEVERELY understaffed, or all the "customer service" reps are always on break or something. There tends to be 1 person checking you in where you give your name. And from the 5 different times I went to go return some old equipment before we moved - only 2 customer service people actually working... Which translates to a room full of pissed off people waiting for HOURS to speak to someone or do mundane things like just drop off some old equipment. On 2 separate occasions I went there, gave my name, and waited.... Once for 1.5 hrs. Once for 1 hour before I just said screw it and left. The other 3 times, I walked in the door - saw the 20-30 people already waiting - and only 2 counter people working, so I turned around and left each time. Thank GOD when we actually moved, the customer service rep on the phone finally told me I could just go to any UPS store and drop the equipment off to be sent back. Well gee, thanks. That would've been nice to know before wasting several hours of my life waiting and driving! Idk if ppl keep quitting, or if it's just bad management alienating employees, or what. But you need to do something Comcast, because this place is terrible! read more

As an employer I always encourage my staff to be enthusiastic and making sure they LOVE what they do. I think doing "service" for your customers and making their day AND getting paid for it by working somewhere, it a bounty and a blessing. I hope the manger is reading this ... besides the welcoming guy, No one at the registers wanted to be there. I'm not going to mention names because there's a chance he was having a bad day but dude... you don't like your job, move on and go BE happy! This review is not for the Xfinity Store but their phone customer service reps. and their door to door salesman. I added home security cameras to my existing services with Xfinity. One week after the install of the security cameras, I realized the cameras did not record. I immediately contacted my door to door sales rep. and he stated, "I did not know the cameras did not record"...Yea right. Lair. Comcast home security cameras DO NOT RECORD. I later discovered that if you wanted the cameras to record their is an additional fee. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Furious to the 10th power, I called customer service and cancelled the home security services within the 30 day guaranteed time frame. I have a bill now for $756. According to the useless customer service reps. I have to "take down" and return the cameras myself in order for the bill to be $0. Xfinity will charge me $70 to send a tech to my home to remove the cameras. Therefore, within a 30 day period I will have lost $70 for absolutely nothing and Xfinity would have profited $70 for absolutely nothing. From the very beginning, the door to door salesman was a CON artist. This has been one complete nightmare. Worst company ever. I repeat. Worst company ever. Again, Worst company ever. read more

I ordered new service and bought a $900+ cell phone, when I transfered my phone service. There was no promotions available. 3 weeks later, a family member, who did EXACTLY the same thing, received a $300 gift card. I called Xfinity to see if there was a reason I did not receive mine and was told they offer promotions with different gift amounts, but were offering NOTHING when I purchased my phone. There is "nothing they can do". I understand promotions, but the level of service from one week to the next should not be so severe. To offer no compensation at all is also unacceptable. The agent who helped me also refused to copy my phone contents, even just contacts, over for me. It was bad customer service all round and I would not suggest their store, nor Xfinity service to anyone. read more

So we drove all the way to Wellington to go to an Xfinity Store. We have a pile of equipment to return and wanted to pick up some of the new Pods to extend the WiFi. We walked in and there were customers all over the store and ONE Employee. The customers looked like they could kill. I turned around and left. Why kill an entire afternoon with Comcast. Of course there no phone number to call to find out how busy it is. So we wasted 90 minutes and got nowhere. I don't just dislike Comcast - I'm at DISGUST. I asked if we could make an appointment. They said "today there are no appointments available". I was able to make an appointment online for this store for today for 30mins later. I had to go to the Xfinity store to finally get something done about my situation when they were ready to attend to me which was about a 10 Minute wait which was better than what I expected to encounter the agent said I could have done it over the phone l explained that I tried but couldn't get my point across to the agent on the phone that's why I decided to come into the store and it was corrected and wby the two because I spent over 45 minutes on the phone and then had to drive over to the store which was not close to me at all so what wound up taking about 2 1/2 hours out of my day for a simple fix they need to train their staff so that they are more knowledgeable of the products that they are Trying to fix! read more
