You better hope you NEVER need a line buried at your property by these folks. I live in an apartment complex in NW Tucson, AZ. Internet has been completely down for a month now, in my unit only, because the wire underground is "20 years old" and needs to be replaced. Cool. Except it took 7 days to schedule the utilities company to come out and mark the ground. It took 14 days for utilities to actually come out and mark the ground. Then silence from xfinity. Remember when I said I live in an apartment complex? Well, those markings on the ground are being stepped on and messed up daily by the many other people that live here, while I wait for some kind of communication from this company. Online chat and 1800 number is routed to India where they cannot help you whatsoever with these kinds of requests. The date today is August 7th 2023, I've been without internet for 1 month now and Xfinity is nowhere in site. Thanks for nothing. Went in to return equipment and possibly exchange out my remotes unfortunately was advised in a not so friendly manner that the newer remotes were not available no big deal but my goodness the rep didn't need an attitude when stating they weren't available. It's easy to get on with internet and mobile. However if you ever need anything it's very difficult to get past the computer answering service. If you do get a person they are out of the US. Billing and service questions get you an answer you want to hear but then they do not do what they say they will. Make no mistake with "Xfinity"... they are still COMCAST!! Comcast has a terrible customer service track record and it's easy to see why. Simple try to call their customer service number and see if you ever get to talk to a human. Worst ISP out!!! Over charges, you have to pay extra for "unlimited data" and is never consistent. Constantly reboots router and crashes internet while I'm working LIVE! Xfinity swears they don't do updates or reboot their routers, yet everytime it happens, it's at the exact same time every day... stop messing with services you over charge for, and stop lying to your customers!! Xfinity/Comcast is the WORST. It's not the people that work there. It's the fact that they work for an evil empire with a monopoly. You can spend hours on the phone and never get a human being. When you finally get a human being they assure you that they are going to send you the proper equipment. In my case, I did not get the correct equipment. I paid a TV installer to come set up my new TVs and equipment. Now I have to pay the installer to come back and install the wireless cable boxes because I live out of town and I run this home as a rental. I have 4 Comcast accounts and pay this company a boatload of money but they don't care. I then had to come to this Xfinity store and wait for 30 minutes to see one of their people. I've had to deal with xfinity twice recently. The first time was when I got a "no video display" message. I had 2 HDMI cords hanging off the back.of the tv and no picture. I only needed one, but after 30 minutes of fiddling with it, no difference. Repair guy scheduled to come out in 2 days. Gal I spoke with initially called me back the next day and had a fix for me in 3 minutes! Unheard of! Not.only did that save me $40, but an afternoon of waiting for a repair guy. I'm still smiling. The 2nd time the volume of the tv was at 100 and nothing worked with the remote despite new batteries, rebooting, unplugging. I called and xfinity and it only took a few minutes to realize the dog was sleeping on the original tv remote, which took presidence over my xfinity remote. What a relief!!! read more

Not sure where to begin .... I'm an Xfinity customer for quite a long time formerly in Florida now Tucson. As a physician my internet and landline are VERY IMPORTANT. Long story short: both went out 12 times in 3 weeks. I finally get through to someone with a heartbeat after listening to and being interrogated by that annoying recording ... it took 47 minutes!!!! Rep than gets disconnected THREE TIMES transferring me to a supervisor. I call back AGAIN ho through it all Over again! I demand to speak to a supervisor. I'm finally given an appointment two days later I'm told I need a new modem DEFINITELY by the supervisor ... Tech shows up NO MODEM ON HIS TRUCK !!! Tells me he was never advised to bring a modem. I demanded he call & set up appointment again ... he does for the following afternoon. He was in my place 3 minutes ! A tech by the name of WILL shows up on time and I explain my problem ... he states well let me first look outside at the wiring .. upon returning he tells me no it's NOT THE MODEM IT WAS DUE TO FAULTY WIRING! TELLING ME SHORTLY EVERYONE IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD WOULD BE EVENTUALLY HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM ! WILL checks everything out just to be sure. This all could have been avoided if the tech from the day before did his job! WILL than follows up with 3 phone calls to make sure everything is working!!!!!! The company needs more technicians like WILL. He told me he has been with the company a long time. The supervisor I spoke to honestly could care less the first technician was in a hurry and relieved he had zero work to do apparently but NOT WILL. He takes his job & responsibilities very serious ... HE SHOULD BE THE SUPERVISOR because he cares. The company needs more people like him. Plus get rid of that annoying ultra annoying recording.... If you live near the castle adobes area in tucson, so all you can to avoid comcast. Their infrastructure is ancient, app is broken, service is sub par, all the typical things you hear about bad cable companies is true of the local service here. If you don't play video games a high skill level daily, or are not a content creator on the internet, or don't need fast speeds for constant downloads, just bite the bullet and get centurylink or hughes net. Slower speeds but infinitly more reliability. I hate how often my internet just refuses.to work correctly for an hour straight, and after months and months of trying to get comcast to do something about it, it has only gotten worse. I just learned, as we come up to a move, that despite our loyalty to Xfinity/Comcast, and regardless of ALL the drops/freezes/buffering on the daily just about, we have been paying $89 + taxes & fees, for a plan and a rented box that should have only been $59 + tax. Additionally, Xfinity has said that even though our bill cycles on the 3rd, they will NOT be able to disconnect svc until the 23rd of September!! They don't provide service at our new home, but want us to pay for add'l 43 days. NO!! Your service sucked and now that we moved you're trying to fraudulently charge us for 43 days AFTER WE STOPPED USING YOU!! I'm not paying anything past our cancellation date!! That's asinine. I went to the Xfinity store on Wetmore and First today because my cell phone is displaying garbage within Google and Chrome. I had an appt. I got one of the young helpers who restarted the network and told me the phone was working. NOT. I showed him it still wasn't. He called the manager over, Ricardo, who told him to put a new SIM card into it. That didn't do the trick either. I had to go home and call Tech Service because no one there could help me. And, when I asked about getting a new phone because this phone was not the one advertised in the recent deal we got when we transferred to Xfinity mobile, I was told I would owe the full value of my current phone - No monthy deduction for the phone cost! Then Ricardo told me I had no one else I could talk to for tech support or another manager and to add insult to injury he told me my phone was working when he really meant he could do NOTHING even though no text was displaying in Goggle. I do not recommend changing to Xfinity mobile. I have been a customer for 30 years and will make a point of getting other non Xfinity services when I can. Also, tech services did help me and offered a new phone! Too bad the store customer support sucks! read more

These people should get a -7. Absolutely horrible. After their cable service never worked right I canceled and got streaming.The streaming service has never worked correctly once.every time I turned it on I get an error message and have to go through their robot and a long call with their customer service which fixes it only that instance. The sound quickly becomes disjointed from the picture. Worse, during my last call I asked to check the internet speed which is supposed to be 300 MBPS download on a hard cable It was 204, 77 on the Wi-Fi.I asked the agent aren't they committing fraud by telling me I'm getting one thing which I'm not getting and charging me $80 a month for it and he said he could no longer speak with me and would have to refer me to the legal team. So literally he hung up with my internet speed substandard in a major way to what was advertised and what I pay for and my streaming not working. They sent a service man out primarily because their equipment was causing the problem and never told me they were going to charge me $75 for his call. I have had the EXACT same experience, As MANY others, only it took 4 different techs and a NO SHOW! Then they tried to charge me a service call. (This was an installation). I have tried to get a good connection but its just not happening. I have been with Xfinity Since 2017 and I have paid for the highest internet speed (1200 then 1 Gig etc) only to get the highest at 600-700 and sometimes as low as 280. Do you think they would offer some kind of refund? No.... even after constantly losing connection. I need to be hardwired but Xfinity doesn't do that anymore, the techs are not allowed "Due to Covid"........... Seriously? And Oh! by the way, the billing gets so screwed up that I have to call them every month ( at least an hour each time) and sometimes twice because of the service going down. And yes, it is an insane struggle to reach a human being. HORRIBLE!!!! Did I mention that my service is around $250 per month? Yes, crazy. Just trying to get a competent service! Then I get on the television to watch something and everything I try to watch wants me to pay more for it! I have been trying to find a good service in Oro Valley (85742) for months. We had Xfinity in the past under the previous company and it was great. Since Xfinity bought it out, it's no different than dish, Cox, or direct. They make big promises they can't keep. They promise packages at a great price then come out and our tech isn't supported with your previous home security, package gone, no need for phone now, no bundle, changed contract. Ask 5 plus times about the modem, why it isn't showing 2.4 and 5.0 so we can run out home automation. Reassured by contractor that it will work. I insist we should use our modem and router, still meet with Xfinity is better. Their modem is crap. You can't run multiple home automation on it. It has a continuous signal to it and can't be partitioned. Call and complain, get promised 2 months off our modem rental so we can get back to area and return it. Get one month off and our billing date gets moved up by 5 days. Just stay away. It's all a lie and nothing but empty promises. Thank goodness we didn't go with their mobile. I had my account merged and I called to un merge it and they not only screwed that up but after several minutes of promises to fix it he tells me I have to there specialist to un merge it. So disappointed! We had signed up to get Xfinity internet service, they took $25 out of my checking account for new service, we had a tech come for installation, but she was unable to install until the City of Tucson could come get the underground wiring taken care of. Our tech called to put our install on hold and I know she did this because she was standing in front of me and on speakerphone. Over the next few weeks, I saw different trucks outside doing what they were suppose to do, and I received no call from Xfinity to come install.
