Mala Tang Choose 5 Ingredients 5

I ordered the malatang with 5 items for take out. Had ordered the chicken soup and I was quite disappointed. The flavor of the soup was very mild and nothing special. The ingredients were pretty standard and for the price, I didn't find it that much worth it. I've heard that eating in the store is better so maybe I'll try that next time

Uhh portion is a bit small for the price I paid

A bit disappointed with two difference in prices between ordering grub hub and in store. I understand that the restaurant has to pay a fee to the service provider, but the difference in prices was $4 - $5 per a dish. Next time, just order directly from them to get the true price of the dish. Overall the 4 items mala tang was good. Soup was delicious. I didn't care for the rice cake noodles with three items. The portion was a lot less for the rice cake dish. The restaurant is small but clean, seems great for dine in.

We ordered from here on seamless tonight, I was hesitant since they had no reviews but it looked really good and the food was really great!! We did the 8 ingredient mala tang and some sides. Standouts are the mala tang, okonomiyaki and fried dough sticks. The salt crispy chicken was good but wasn't as crispy after travel so probably would be better in person. Dumplings were ok but overshadowed by how awesome the highlights were. We will definitely order from here again the next time we want mala tang!

I've ordered from this place a few times and every time it's been fantastic! They package the soup base separate from the noodles, meat and veggies so you don't have to worry if you choose ingredients that would get too soggy sitting in soup. The spicy salty chicken appetizer is also delicious! Even my partner who normally only eats Americanized Chinese food loves this place and asked we order from here again.

New spot, randomly found late night first day back in ny! Noodle soup was delicious, broth was so tasty and ingredients were fresh! Cute decor and staff as well :)

Extremely slow with orders. Doesn't matter if u order via app or in person at the establishment. Food is definitely not worth the wait.

It was around 4:30pm and when we arrived, it was empty which was perfect for us. Space is big and spacious and their tables, plating, and decor really stood out to me. Seemed fancier than other Chinese restaurants! Ordered a variety of dishes and they were all really large portions and well-prepared. None were overly salty or sweet, just right. My favorite was their chicken, eggplant and salted fish claypot dish. It's one of my favorite dishes in general and they made it very well. Definitely will come here more often and will rec my family to try this place out for our next family event.

The meal includes geoduck sashimi, jellyfish & mixed appetizer, soup, steamed fish, crab & lobster with sticky rice, abalone, steamed shrimp, noodles, and veggies. Some dishes were bigger than others. Both times I came they didn't have abalone so we substitute the dish for garlic scallop (which I prefer). The menu also says it comes with house special dessert but we never gotten any. For any seafood, it's market price plus they add a 30% processing fee, which is strange to me. For a Chinese restaurant which usually does not charge tax if you pay with cash, they charge tax here whether you pay by card or cash. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious. They have pretty large tables, suitable for parties and celebrations. There's a private space upstairs with 3 large tables for parties. The restaurant is pretty slow in the afternoon.

Everything was excellent, but the paella was the star of the meal my wife couldn't put her fork down. The drinks were cold, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the food. The only downside was the service at the front. The host seemed a little unfriendly, which wasn't the best first impression. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, was very welcoming, and seated us in the back, which ended up being the perfect spot for a quick bite and a couple of drinks. Overall, the food and drinks definitely outweigh the small hiccup at the beginning. We'll definitely be back for happy hour again.

For 3 people we ordered: the calamari, a lobster roll, a potato side dish, a small vegan paella and a chuzo salad. The food was good but not great - the calamari was nothing special, the lobster roll was a little over salted with the fries not fried enough, the potato dish had texture and the toppings on it had spice + acid, the salad was simple but refreshing, and the finally the vegan paella was well seasoned, strong tomato flavor in the rice and the vegetables were nicely charred. The ambiance of the restaurant felt summery, it was a little humid with a slight wind that evening and they had all doors open allowing the breeze to flow through their space beautifully. The biggest let down was their service. For a weeknight at prime dinner hour and not a very crowded night, it took an hour for our food to come out from the kitchen. I noticed another party, who arrived after us, was served their food prior to us. I wished our waiter updated us on the food without my having to ask first.
