I got the Biang biang noodle and a crispy flatbread and both were delicious. It was the perfect amount of spicy for me where there is a mild kick to it. The service was quick and the waitress even boxed my food for me. The space is not really big so I would not go during a busy time.

Came here for a super quick lunch and got the tomato and egg noodles and they were delicious especially with the fresh cucumber topping it! Our food came out super quick and was hot! Our waitress was also kind enough to bring out scissors to help us tackle the massive noodles in the soup! The noodles were definitely homemade and were the star of the show! Would come back again!

Love this place! It feels like a hidden gem. The standard of the food is always the same (in a good way). It's a small place but it's never packed whenever I go. They also have vegetarian options!

Amazing! Everything was great and good and quick service. Felt authentic. Delicious noodles and flatbreads. Had lamb flatbread, crispy pork flatbread, hot and sour noodles, and spicy ground pork noodles.

Came here for the hand pulled noodles and they did not really hit. They satisfied the craving but were not anything worth raving about. The restaurant is pretty unassuming and the service is okay. The beef in the noodles were the best part.

Ambiance - casual, northern style home cooking Service - only one server, food came out fairly quickly Food - biang biang noodles were super flavorful, braised beef noodle soup is perfect for a cold day (beef was super tender), the wide noodles were the perfect texture

Ordered the famous Biang Biang hand pulled noodles, it didn't disappoint. Food: Biang Biang - 5 get it Dumpling app - 5 get it Skewer meats - 3, average and they put a ton of cumin on it for some reason. Tea - tasty Service: What you'll expect at Chinatown. Usually a 3. No BS service. Ambiance: its an older smaller spot in comparison to the newer Naperville location. Its what you can expect for old Chinatown. No frills but food hits.

Hand-Stretched Noodles in Hot and Sour Sauce. phenomenal!

PROS - Hot and Sour, hand stretched wide noodles, braised beef, extra spicy. make sure to mix it. it will absorb the sauce/broth over time. even though it's noodles, you don't feel heavy while eating or after - Biang Biang is decent, but Hot and Sour is better and more flavorful - Cumin Lamb Flatbread. very flavorful! I prefer the one at Friends BBQ, but this one comes second - when you order soda, they bring you a cup filled to the brim with ice. the coke is such a complementary aperitif to all the foods here - food is prepared fairly quickly. maybe 10 min wait for noodle dishes - for chinatown, the bathroom is relatively clean -- CONS - only 1 women's bathroom. it's often occupied, and the waiting area is very hot. for me, it's a small price to pay for delicious noodles lol -- RECOMMENDED - hot and sour hand stretched noodles - cumin lamb flatbread - super icy coke

Came here for a quick dinner and it was delicious! The service is super welcoming and sweet. We ordered two bowls of noodles: biang biang noodles and the lamb noodle soup, five spiced beef and the pork pancake. All were really good and pretty authentic!

$7.50 cumin lamb flatbread. Enough said. The meat was seasoned to perfection. One flatbread was enough for lunch. Online ordering is $0.25 more but saves you time from waiting there. Small family owned restaurant with plenty of seating!

We came specifically for the flatbread and were not disappointed! The bread itself was amazing with a nice crispy exterior but perfectly soft interior. Both the Cumin Lamb and the Marinated Pork were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. It is a smaller place but it has plenty of seating! The staff were very friendly and the food was prepared very quickly! I cannot wait to go back for another flatbread and to try some more of the items on their menu.

Down to earth place to go, where you will find traditional Xi'An dishes: pulled noodles, bianbian mean, liangpi, 烧饼。Friendly service too.

Had the Marinated Pork flatbread and it was better than I expected. Filled the the brim with pork and peppers. The flatbread was nice and toasty, and the pork was marinated well. The peppers gave a nice kick to too and the employee was friendly.

When you arrive, they will ask for your name and a $10 deposit that will go towards your meal. If you decide to get off of the list on your own, the $10 is non refundable. (No problem) We were seated at a table and it took quite a while for the server (don't know his name) to come to our table. When he did come to the table, he didn't introduce himself and he just stared at us. After a few seconds he says "You ready to order?" I tried to lighten the mood and ask his name and he didn't want to tell me. Ok... We order a few appetizers to start. We also ask a few questions, none of which he was able to understand. (We truly thought there was a language barrier so we extended grace and didn't think much of it) Got the appetizers. They were decent.. but... A group of 4 people sat to the immediate right of us, not only did he great them, he gave them several recommendations for appetizers and entrees. (No language barrier in sight) Was very much friendly and attentive to them. Still never came back to the table but continued to take great care of the tables around us. At this point we decided that it would be best to go somewhere else for entrees. In all of my years of dining out, I have put this on top 3 of my worst experiences. Treat ALL of your customers with the same respect and dignity. We had to flag a random employee down to get our check. Paid in cash and had to flag him down for our change.

I'd ordered Homura, and stepped away to wash my hands. Just as I was sitting down, the bowl of hot fresh goodness was placed in front of me. Even when the place was busy, the service remains lighting-quick! friendly and attentive too! As for the bowl, it was absolutely fantastic! Upon mixing, everything went together perfectly. The flavors were tremendously savory and rich, with accents from the egg, seasonings, veggies, and a healthy amount of meat. The noodles were cooked perfectly too! The bowl was perfect as is, and needed nothing. I was worried the bowl would be dry, but this couldn't be farther from the truth, especially with the ladle of liquid on the bottom, everything was perfect! Now, there are various seasonings and flavor enhancers on the table, but they weren't needed, in my opinion. If you do choose to add some, be careful, as some pour fast and heavy! After happily slurping this thing down in record time, I also ordered a single helping of Chashu, as I generally love it and wanted to try. It too was brought to me in no time, and was thin, well balanced, and melted in my mouth. Where it comes to value, the bowl was $13.50, and the slice of chashu was $1.50, IIRC. Great, especially in light of what everything costs nowadays. Final verdict: Kajiken came, and it DELIVERED. Everything from start to finish was top notch, and for a very fair value of $13.50 for a fresh, tasty, and filling bowl of goodness.

MingHin was packed, loud, and a little chaotic. Worth it. Dim sum is an experience as much as a meal and MingHin delivers on both fronts. We ordered more than we could keep track of. Soup dumplings that immediately became the kids' personal obsession. Shu mai that hit every time. BBQ pork buns in every form they offered because obviously. Chinese broccoli to balance out the indulgence. Everything was solid, fresh, and exactly what you want from a dim sum spread. The room was packed and buzzing but the service kept up impressively. Servers were constantly circling, clearing empty plates and dishes without missing a beat. Clean and attentive even at full capacity, which is no small thing. Fair warning if you are bringing little ones: this environment is a lot. The noise, the crowd, the overwhelming parade of food arriving at the table. Our kids loved what they ate but the sensory experience was a bit much for them. This is a place better suited for a group of adventurous adults or older kids who thrive in high energy environments. Prices are great for the quality and quantity of food you get. A Chinatown institution for good reason. Just know what you are walking into and embrace it fully.
