Their margarita flight is deeeeelicious... my fav in town! The food is good, a bit on the salty side for me, but tasty!

Have been looking forward to Xicha opening in Eugene! It's a bit of a small space but lots of outdoor tables with heaters too. I tried the Hatch Pollo taquitos and they were delicious! And the beer was good too. The Dos Mundos IPA was my favorite followed by Catharina guava & raspberry sour. Highly recommend this place!! read more

Checked this place out while moving our daughter into Eugene. Beautiful presentation and even tastier food. We tried the chicken empanadas, barbacoa nachos and birria chimichanga. All 3 were delicious. Meats were tender and flavorful and the use of pickled veggies on top added nice acid and visual flair. Sat outside in the cute tented seating area. We were at a fundraiser for Ophelia's Place last night and it was fabulous! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was lively and fun and the service was impeccable! Everyone was kind, attentive and accommodating! The only drawback for me was the noise level inside the restaurant. I use hearing aids and they make everything loud, so sitting outside was the best option for us. I did love the music, though! But from a distance. We'll be back! Finally! A place with delicious tacos, authentic and spicy salsa, yummy homemade tortillas! I am from East LA, and authentic tacos is something I've been missing since moving here. I am so crazy about tacos that I've been known to chase Johnathon Gold recommended taco trucks in LA. They do not mess around here. The place has a wonderful, cheery, colorful vibe with bright turquoise and mandarin orange colored painted walls, matching wood chairs, plenty of open space, large tall windows and Uber high ceilings. My friend had the shrimp, vegetable and chicken tacos and she couldn't finish her third taco. The Spanish rice that comes with was also super flavorful and filling. I ordered the chicken and Barbacoa tacos. Delicious!! Reasonable prices. Three of the same tacos with rice and onions is $14. $16 for 3 mixed tacos. The margaritas look yummy, but we abstained this time. Go show your appreciation for this new local (via Salem) resto. I'm crazy about it. read more

Good food, decent beer. You guys have to do a better job with your seating- there isn't nearly enough inside and your floor space allows for more. The outside seating has heat lamps that aren't on (told that they are serviced by provisions who didn't have any propane left). This outside seating is used by your establishment, so figure it out. read more

This spot is a welcome addition to the Eugene brewery scene. In an IPA heavy landscape, this Latina brewery offers interesting beers that don't hit you over the head with ABV. Their sour is surprisingly good as is their dark lager. The food is quality too. A nice selection of tacos. Nachos and Cubano sandwich were also tasty with a good balance of flavors. I wish their salsa offerings were a little better but it's a great spot overall. read more

Xicha is a gem. Delicious food and margaritas, fun atmosphere, good team members. The only place we'll drive to south Eugene for lol. Our favs are the chips and salsas (the bean dip that comes with it is great), chicken taquitos and the croquetas. I just keep wishing they had churros for dessert. read more

Great mango marg and amazing chips and salsa. Good service except when we walked in the cashier looked at us and asked her co-worker, "Are we open?" while looking over at us. The door was unlocked so we had gone in. Good location though and fun vibe. read more

I really want to love this place. My husband and I ran out for an impromptu dinner date. The woman and the counter seemed annoyed we were there, in fact a heavy sigh came out of her mouth when we walked up. Umm, ok..... we ordered and there is a tip scale starting at 18%. I'm not sure what the tips are for as you order your own food, get your own drinks, get your own salsa and bus your own table. The chicken tacos were ok, the pickled onions were a great on them, but the chicken was dry. We ordered chips and salsa and the salsa comes in tiny, tiny cups that you cannot dip a chip in. It was 2 one ounce containers of salsa and a half ounce of habanero salsa. There is a bean dip that comes in a ceramic bowl. Why are restaurants not using washable bowls for all the salsa? Why are we serving salsa in plastic cups when dining in? My husband got the birria chimichanga and he thought it was ok, a little bland. Overall we were a little disappointed. read more

The food is phenomenal!! Mango Margarita is great! The chips and salsa come with different salsas and mashed black beans, so good! The tacos were amazing I tired a lot of them. I would recommend this place for lunch. Dinner it's not really what I would consider a sit down dinner place. It is sooooo busy in there and very very loud. Great food, lovely humans who have been very nice each time I've gone. The ambiance will be best in the summer months of the wall can open up or outdoor seating will happen. The large windows are awesome for light and can be a little chilly. It's become popular so sometimes it's hard to find seating. So far I've really only had to wait once. Love the nachos the most, yummy tacos and empanadas. The spicy tamarind margarita is the best. I'm not a beer drinker so have gone with the margaritas or vino- and while not extensive, it's been fine. read more

Drinks are pretty good we got the margarita flight, and the shrimp tacos are also good but not worth $16 for JUST the tacos and NO SIDE OF ANYTHING. They also don't give you water unless you ask for it. Great place for drinks but not for food. read more

We came in an hour before closing on Cinco de Mayo......(Poor planning on our part), yet had an amazing experience. Juliette at the counter was wonderful and was happy to serve us even though we were there late. We were able to find a table pretty fast and the food came out soon after. The cauliflower ximichanga was really delicious (came with 3 sauces) and the guava margarita was surprisingly great (I don't like tequila but this was refreshing and sweet).
