    (1) Signature Brown Sugar Boba Milk
    Emma N.

I came by here on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm and it was pretty slow. Xing Fu Tang is located in a really busy shopping plaza and it took a few minutes to find a parking spot. The inside is really pretty and shiny, with some tables and high tops to sit at. Very clean. The people working were really nice. I tried the brown sugar boba milk tea and it was yummy, but I'm not sure it was worth $7+ dollars. There was A LOT of ice in that drink.

I'd love to give this place a good review- but unfortunately every experience I've had here has been subpar. The interior was not very clean- the inside is white with beautiful furniture, but most of it was sticky or messy, and the floor had smudge marks. There were straw wrappers from previous customers also strewn about on a few tables. The employees, too, were curt, unprofessional (half were sitting at a table on their phones, and half were roughhousing behind the counter, one employee even slapped the other? NOT a good look.) and did not greet us when we came in. We tried to order about 3 different drinks, but they were out of half of the toppings on the menu. The female employee who took our order looked annoyed that we dared try to order drinks that were on the menu- it was unsettling and not a great customer service experience. Finally, we got our drinks, and they were pretty much all ice in a fancy cup. The tea portion that we did receive was fine, but almost 20 dollars for bad service, and mostly ice is unacceptable. The flavors were nothing to write home about- and the dragon tea refresher my boyfriend got was not particularly unique. I've heard and seen good things about Xing Fu Tang locations in other states, but if they want to survive in Mesa, AZ, they may want to start actually carrying the ingredients advertised on the menu, as well as training their employees on professionalism. Jeez.

After having lunch next door. Had to stop and try one of taiwans top tea shops. Xing fu tang was excellent. Service was great. Gal was super nice Got myself a white peach tea. Super refreshing. Not too sweet And most importantly didn't taste artificial Friend got her usual fav brown sugar boba. Both good quality drinks and one of the best in the area

Just a boba place. Nothing special and nothing stood out to me. Service can be improved and hopefully they restock the ingredients that they run out of like lychee jelly. The interior is clean. The bubble teas are okay. They aren't memorable but not bad either. Casual place you can drop in and grab some boba for dessert or just because. Xing Fu Tang is located in a plaza where there are plenty of parking. Um.. overall the experience wasn't too bad, but I don't think I am excited about my next visit so maybe next time, I will try some other place.

    Strawberry matcha bingsu

This place has good Bingsu which I prefer over the boba drinks. They did recently change the way it's served though, now in a disposable cup instead of a bowl. It seems to be a smaller serving and it dings the presentation a little, but price is still the same. The strawberry bingsu has always been our favorite--light, creamy, and not overly sweet. We tried the strawberry matcha one which didn't really hit--was a little too bitter and we were avoiding the matcha parts towards the end. They have new furniture including multiple tables with chairs now which is great.

12/6/25: Not bad, not great, rather underwhelming. Xing Fu Tang has an agreement with next-door Mensho's (ramen). Bring in their receipt & get 15% off your bubble tea order. That said, had we not just eaten at Mensho's, we never would have known about Xing. It's a nice wide open space for sure, very clean. This was the first boba shop we've visited where we saw a huge wok full of boba. It was pretty dang cool. The guy/gal behind the counter spoke very softly so I had to lean in to hear what they were saying. Xing's does not have an extensive menu, and they were out of about half a dozen items/drinks. Unfortunately, not everything they were out of was labeled as such, nor was it covered up as being not available so one bubble tea we wanted was a no go. Not a promising first-time visit. Their bowls look pretty interested (only about six options) so IF (that's a big if) we stop in again, we may try a bowl. Then again, with all the other bubble tea stores available, stopping in again to Xing may not be worth it ... unless we eat at Mensho's again, putting us in the area. :-)

Country where you order. Didn't want to take a picture of the staff without their permission.

This shop is so cute and the service is very personal. The respect and consideration the staff give their customers is so encouraging. My husband gulped his damn drink like it was going out of style, but I managed to take a picture of the coffee jelly. Also, they have a restroom with a dry-erase board that customers can leave cute notes on. And boy, it didn't disappoint. Coming here gives me hope and I'll certainly return.

Not many places make their tapioca pearls in house so I appreciated that this place did! If you dine at Mensho and show your receipt to them, there's a small 10-15% discount. Saw the soft serve was new on the menu (with a sold out post it), but the staff noted the machine is out and they weren't bringing it back anytime soon which is a shame since they previously had earl grey and black sesame flavors. I usually order the passion fruit or the kumquat refresher teas. It's a little pricier as the drinks start at $7 without toppings at the regular size. I've also had the bingsu in the past and it's definitely shareable - I would only caution the bowl is made of a lighter plastic so it can easily slip. The interior is spacious with a bunch of seating. Also love the fortune telling sticks - such a fun and neat idea!

You have to try Xing Fu Tang's decadent and sweet bingsu desserts. The lightly folded waves of fluffy goodness really make me want to comeback just for this 1 dessert. Imagine a spoonful of layers, nowhere near like shaved ice, but rather shaved airy blankets of just the right amount of sweetness. Fresh strawberries to counteract the creaminess along the matcha atop to provide its earthy and slightly grainy texture. I've tried their brown sugar boba and that's a typically good choice for most people. Overall, amazing asian dessert spot if you're in the area.

I haven't had boba in a while and got a Thai Tea Brown Sugar boba. I was worried it would be sweet but the staff confirmed it wouldn't be. The thai tea was not sweetened and the boba was so it was a good balance. The drinks are pretty pricey and for a large, it's just tall and slender. It's very spacious inside and bright, but kind of a mess with seating.

    Strawberry bingsu
    Teresa A.

Tried the strawberry bingsu and it was such a nice light and airy icy dessert. It was delicous but yet a little pricey. Service was a little slow but the worker was nice. Had to ring the bell for service. The main big strawberry on top was still green on the top (still a little ripe). It was hidden in being place in the dessert like so. I'm glad I gave it a try but I don't know if I would come back. Just kinda expensive to me.

Brown sugar boba milk large size.
    Michelle C.

Xing Fu Tang has some of the best boba out there! The boba is always fresh, warm, and perfectly chewy. I'm glad they now offer a large size, totally worth it for boba lovers. Their drinks are super creamy, and while they now have shaved ice too, I haven't tried it yet because I always go straight for the boba. One day, for sure! The service is usually quick, and the shop itself is bright, clean, and welcoming. My only minor complaint is that it can get a bit warm inside, especially on hot days but it's a small trade-off for such delicious drinks. Highly recommend!

    (3) Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea (Non-Dairy)
    Francheska J.

been here a couple times now over the years, i think the quality differs every visit, but is overall pretty good! i love the boba that is made in house, the flavor is nice and toasty, and compliments the milk tea very well! the milk tea is nice and creamy, with a strong black tea flavor. not too milky at all. i try to ask for the least amount of sweetness every time i'm here just because i'm a quite sensitive to the sugar in boba drinks + the boba made in house is covered in a brown sugar/caramel-like syrup. i like that the milk tea is non-dairy as well! drinks come out super quick and the staff is friendly. only thing is that the fortune wall seems to be missing fortunes in almost every drawer -- wish they could fill those up again! it was really fun getting to do that before.

With so many choices, how do you decide on which boba place to go to? Well, this one in particular…read moreis a great choice if you like your drinks more milky than tea in taste. They are reasonably priced although I felt like the price difference for the matcha Thai vs Thai milk tea wasn't worth it. The matcha itself did taste good though and I'd love to come back and try their Pandan Matcha. Their boba is consistently chewy and yummy. Drinks are consistent in quality with variety. We showed up late and the person who served us was very kind, patient, and welcoming despite it being close to closing. We were apologetic and grateful. (Thank you to her!). Otherwise, beware of limited parking like everywhere else in Mesa. This location also has an added bonus in that it's open later than a lot of other boba places so you can still fit in that boba run after dinner! We were also impressed that they have options for a 32 ounce so you can REALLY get your cravings satisfied! Overall, a really solid option.

I was in the mood for snacking and therefore, looking for a boba spot with more than popcorn chicken. Their seasonal hot honey fries caught my eye as I was scrolling through recent menu photos and in we went. They were out of the calamari, and the staff was friendly in cautioning us that the snacks may take a while since there's one fryer and luckily, we weren't in a hurry. We ending up ordering the following: - Jasmine Milk Tea with aloe vera - was quite disappointed to have the aloe vera super mushy. I would have switched it out if I had tried it in stores before leaving. - Fried Shrimp - this was pretty salty to the point I could barely finish these - Hot Honey Fries - seasoning was superb and would come back alone for this! - Popcorn chicken - okay, not much breading to it and therefore, not too crispy, but the sauces helped There is a smile/satisfaction guarantee, and perhaps we should've tried everything before leaving, but that's moreso on us wanting to go home. Unfortunately, phone did not eat first so not much photos taken.

Sometimes I think the Yelp app is messing with my mind lol…read more I could have sworn that I already had left a 5 star review for Crafti Tea & Mocktail, years ago. Well, it's not there so I'll just have to give them 5 stars again :) This is my favorite tea cafe in the valley. The vibe is very much Lofi Girl, iykyk. Super chill and a bright, open space to enjoy some delicious drinks. The staff here are friendly and welcoming. When I come here I usually get iced fruit tea, milk tea, or matcha. They have unique and well flavored drinks. On my most recent trip I ordered from the current seasonal menu. They also have fruit teas, hojicha tea, and espresso drinks. It can be helpful to check their website and see the pictures and descriptions if you're trying to decide what to choose. I had the iced jasmine matcha with oat milk and Mont Blanc foam. This is the best flavored matcha drink I've had compared to matcha drinks I've had in Japan. I watched her hand whisk the ceremonial grade powder, making it well blended and smooth. The delicate jasmine sweetness and the very citrus forward Mont Blanc foam really paired well together. The jasmine version doesn't come with that foam so I paid extra to add it, but well worth it. So delicious! In the past I used to get the earl grey milk tea and strawberry lemon green tea. I'll definitely be back, continuing to try out other drinks. I've liked everything so far from Crafti, and that's saying a lot because many boba or tea places are just too syrupy sweet for me, here it's nice flavors and sweetness.

Turns out I had, but it was for a Yelp perk so I reviewed that particular listing. There are a few parking spots in front and a solid amount of seats inside. A few people were inside ordering, and most of them left after receiving their drinks. I like the capybara theme and the plushies - they were cute. I decided to get their seasonal milk tea, which happened to be the ya shi dancong oolong (translates to duck droppings, lol). It's a lighter oolong and fun fact: comes from the Phoenix Mountain in Chaozhou, China. Definitely appropriate for Arizona. I chose 50% sweeteness, light ice, and added their signature boba. The bobaista was super friendly and welcoming. Once I got my drink, I could taste the faint floral and toasted flavor, which was pleasant. The boba was nicely cooked as well. Although there didn't appear to be much ice in my drink as expected, it did make my drink cold more quickly and watered down the flavor, unfortunately. I'd probably order no ice next time. Their matcha drinks looked pretty and were popular, as many customers purchased them while we were there. I'd probably visit again!
