The drinks are consistently great. They now offer black tea or jasmine tea as the milk tea base. The black tea is creamier, and the jasmine tea has a stronger tea taste that tastes floral to me. You can now order a regular size or large size. They also offer boba soft serve and other fruity drinks, so they may continue expanding their menu. I've tried milk tea at three other places within 2 miles, and Xing Fu Tang has the best milk tea. Just wish it wasn't so expensive. This place is so posh! The boys working were super friendly and helpful when ordering. The tapioca boba was fresh made and looked and tasted amazing. My daughter grabbed the tray and spilled my drink immediately after taking it. She was mortified. I try to help clean it, but one of the boys chuckled and insisted that we leave it alone. He got hot water and a mop to take care of it right away and was still so nice about it. I got the Thai tea, so I hope he was able to get the stain out of the floor. My only complaint is that they need to get flat bottom cups to prevent tipping lol. The edges were rounded and if you're not aware of it, accidents can happen, hence my daughter's mishap. They offer this drink with either regular tea or carbonated soda option-I recommended the soda! Next was the strawberry matcha-always a must if you're craving matcha. Lastly, the real taro milk was our least favorite because it was straight up milk with boba. No taro flavor in this drink. TL:DR - Super boujie bubble tea that uses super high quality ingredients and makes their boba in house. The result is a super light, refreshing, but still somehow super flavorful boba drink. NOTE: The #1 seller is just boba and milk, there's no tea in it, for that you'd want their boba milk tea (not boba milk). The star of the show is the in-house boba that is super soft but still super chewy. All of the care put into it, also means a relatively expensive drink, especially when considering it's much smaller size compared to other places. Would recommend 50% sweet. For me, this is a good treat every once in a while, but will probably hit up other bubble tea spots when I just want to satisfy my regular boba itch. ------------------------------------------------------- Xing Fu Tang is one of our absolute favorite spots from back in Taiwan. Super excited that they opened one up here and very much on the way home from grocery shopping off Dobson. I think most people will like it as long as they know what to expect. This place is boujie bubble tea. Fancy environment, super high quality ingredients, and the price to match. First thing is that a lot of these drinks will run you $6+ and more likely to be $7+ if you tip anything. In addition, these drinks are much smaller than your typical bubble tea spot. But I would say that this is somewhat justifiable given just how much care they put into their ingredients. They make their own boba in house in plain site of customers. You can see them folding the dough and then a machine cuts them into little balls. Back in Taiwan they're known for making their boba in house and having a giant cauldron of brown sugar boba within view of customers, which they also do here. Making the boba fresh results in a perfectly pillowy soft but still chewy boba that you just can't get from rehydrating pre-made boba. It's like if a piece of mochi and a gummy bear had a baby. Not quite as soft as mochi but not quite as chewy as a gummy bear. The number one best seller is their brown sugar boba milk. People should note, that this is literally just their brown sugar boba and milk. No tea. I personally like the tea as it adds more depth to the drink that just glorified cereal milk and boba. But the milk here is super fresh, it's light but still quite flavorful. Adding the caramel/molasses flavor of the brown sugar makes for a light treat. The freshness of the ingredients means you get amazing flavor from each ingredient without any artificial flavors coming in, like syrupy sweetness or powdered flavoring. I typically get and would recommend 50% sweet. There is no 75% sweet as far as I know. All in all, it's nice treat every once in a while, but I think for me I'll be hitting my corner boba spot for a weekly treat. read more

Located in a strip mall with other businesses, I was able to find a parking spot without issue despite how busy it was. The venue is very clean, bright, and airy. I love that you can see the employees making the boba as you enjoyed your drink. Of course I had to try the Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea. The milk tea itself is very lightly flavored, which I prefer to too sweet. The boba was good and the perfect amount of chewy/soft. It is a higher price of $6.25 and I believe there is only one size available. They do have non-dairy milk upon request as well. I can't wait to come back and try more of their Top 6! read more

Fun grand opening! Was curious about the hype and happy that it lived up to it. The rose gold foil was a little pricey, but fun for the experience. Boba was super soft, chewy, and caramelly. After waiting when we finally got the bingsu, after lifting the bowl to bring it back to our table the ice cream rolled off the top onto the floor, not even 1 step away from the order pick up counter. We asked if they could possibly replace the missing scoop since we hadn't even gotten anywhere near our table and were told no. The actual bingsu itself was mediocre since there was barely any matcha powder, no condensed milk or any type of syrup drizzled, and overall just felt like we were eating the frozen ice/milk with no flavor.
