That alone should have been enough to leave, but it got worse. The toilet had literal poop residue from the previous guest (and the photos I'm posting are AFTER multiple flushes, so no, it's not because someone was still there), there was hair in the bed, a toenail on the floor and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. We ended up stripping the beds and using our own sheets (we travel a lot) because we didn't trust anything in the unit. There were bugs everywhere. I lifted a pillow on the couch and a spider came crawling out. It felt dirty and neglected, not at all what you expect when paying that kind of money for a vacation rental. When I called to report everything, I didn't hear back for HOURS. When they finally responded, they told me any compensation would have to be discussed after checkout. After checkout, of course, no one has responded. No accountability, no follow-up, nothing. The only thing they initially offered was to send a housekeeper... at 1 PM the next day. By then, we had already cleaned everything ourselves because we had no choice. To make things even more uncomfortable, the owner approached us on the balcony about a remote that had fallen off. It might have been minor, but combined with everything else, it felt invasive, like we were being watched the entire time. The ONLY redeeming quality is the ocean view. That's it. Between the bugs, the filth, the lack of response, and the uncomfortable interactions, this was one of the worst rental experiences I've had. I would absolutely not stay here again and would strongly caution anyone considering it.

They check in with you by text to make sure everything is going well and the few times we've had a question or needed help with something, they have responded right away. We stayed in the Cantaloupe cottage this past weekend and we enjoyed it some much that we hated to leave. The legs are about to fall off!!! As far as the kitchen supplies they are adequate! I would strongly recommend you bringing your own cooking utensils, if possible! It was turned off due to some work that was to be done on it. Make sure if you make reservations on Tybee Island-make sure that they have working elevators. So we went up the stairs, 4 stories!!!! Try to carry luggage up that! 3-4 sisters own and rent several units-so this review is mainly for them. They're very nice, but need to fix things. My lamp in my room was broken. The balcony French doors don't catch the latch to lock up. Thank God this room has an elevator. But, I am thankful they upgraded us to this condo, because it is gate protected. The underground garage was tight, but doable. Pros:huge condo over the beautiful pool, comfy beds, huge condo! The sisters were nice but overwhelmed(in my opinion). A nice bonus was that with our stay we received a free dolphin tour and a free kayak adventure.
