three tacos in a basket on a table

Xolo is awesome! I've been twice over the last month or so and had great experiences both times. It's such an aesthetically pleasing spot with great (surprisingly inexpensive) margaritas and amazing chips and salsa and tacos- what more could you possibly want?

Busy busy busy! Make sure to use their reservation option if you're looking to eat here. The staff were all courteous and quick. The margaritas were strong and delicious. We enjoyed the two different kinds of tacos that we had and thought they were seasoned well. The only flaw was that the queso lacked flavor, spice, and heat as it was cold. Great experience, and I look forward to coming back!

Great tacos and dips with a super cool atmosphere. Love the outdoor seating! I tried the birria taco and the fried chicken taco and both were so good. The chips are FIRE! Spicy mango marg slapped, highly recommend.

Food was trash. My cousin, sister, and uncle all agreed on the rating of this restaurant. The restaurant is a white washed Mexican restaurant. The food lacked flavor, they lacked sauces. They barely put any meat on their tacos. The only thing this restaurant is good for is for their drinks, cheesecake, and aesthetic. If you want good authentic Mexican food good to CANCUN MEXICAN RESTAURANT & CANTINA 1204 N Leroy St Fenton, MI 48430 United States

As I'm sure everyone already knows it's inside El Topo. In the back behind the Pringles Vending Machine. Such a great concept. Inside it's dimly lit cozy feeling vibe is very welcoming. They have a bar you can sit at as well as some table seating. The menu is very small but has some interesting choices. I also love the way they do their Charcuterie. It starts at a base price of $7. That includes Bread, Pickles, mustard etc. Then from the board on the wall you can choose which Meat and Cheeses you wish to add. Each has a set price, each is 2oz. This works great for me especially as I can't have any of the usually accompaniments on a Charcuterie platter anyway. We already had eaten so we just stopped in for some drinks. However; I did end up indulging in some Brie and Reggiano as well. The bartender was extremely helpful in finding out the ingredients/labels for me although there ended up being no meats I could have due to allergies. The Cheeses were very yummy though! She really went out of her way which I appreciated!! They also have Milk and Dark Chocolates you can add for that sweet tooth in all of us. For the Cocktails they have a great selection of homemade Simple Syrups. From fruity based ones to Ginger, Honey, Rosemary and Cinnamon. I tasted a few to determine which to get in my cocktail and they were all delicious. Only improvements I can see... Better coffee. It was very weak and also very bitter my hubby thought. I tend to like mine a bit bitter at times but I definitely agree with him. I also wish they had dinner Alcoholic Coffee Drinks especially for the winter. And the bar stools...ouch. Very hard. But hey you can't have everything and they pretty much do!

Sagebrush Cantina - Chicken Fajitas for One

Here's a Yelp review you could post:…read more We stopped into Sagebrush Cantina for lunch and had a pretty good experience overall. We started with the chips and salsa. The chips tasted homemade, thin and crispy with just the right amount of salt. The salsa was a little thinner than I prefer, but it had a nice kick once it arrived. For our meal, we ordered the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas. The steak and chicken were both moist, flavorful, and well seasoned. The shrimp, unfortunately, didn't have much flavor, and I was disappointed by the vegetable ratio. There was a huge bed of onions and only about one pepper in the mix. One of the highlights was the steak tacos. The steak was chopped into small pieces, packed generously into the tortillas, and so tender and juicy that you could barely close them. They were absolutely delicious. We also tried the handmade chicken taquitos appetizer. They come cut into smaller pieces rather than whole taquitos, but don't let that fool you. The chicken was finely shredded, the crispy exterior was perfect, and the spicy sauce that came with them was excellent. The portion was surprisingly large and easily shareable. A special shoutout to our server, Parker. He was fantastic. He checked on us frequently without being intrusive, offered menu recommendations, brought us extra tortillas without us even having to ask, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Great service can make a meal memorable, and Parker definitely did that. There is plenty of parking since the restaurant is located in a plaza, though it's easy to drive right past it if you're not paying attention. The only downside was the price. Lunch ended up being around $20 per person, which feels a little high. Still, the quality of the food and excellent service make it a place I'd return to.I'd probably rate that 4 stars: great service, excellent tacos and taquitos, good fajitas overall, a great meal.

Place wasn't busy at all and we sat at the bar. Started with drinks with salsa/chips. Never received napkins/silverware. I went and got napkins myself from the server station. Soup had to be set back because it wasn't hot. I kept saying something was missing from the soup or they changed the recipe. After we finished it, I pulled up the menu online and realized there was no rice! I mean none, not even one grain! None! I don't understand how that can even happen. Didn't bother to tell bartender since we finished it before realizing what was missing, plus she just wasn't attentive. Meal itself was just okay. Had the outrageous chimichanga. There was just a dollop of guacamole/sour cream on top of it. Just felt the whole food experience was lacking, or in the soups case, missing a major item!

I liked the chips, not sure if you can upgrade to fries, but I also got a garlic parm waffle fry with their aioli. It was tasty. We also tried the BBQ rip lollipops. They were meaty and filling. They came with celery and blue cheese or ranch, we got the blue cheese. I like that the ribs came with a veggie, good choice not to only do carbs as sides. I am sad that I did not try the lobster roll, but I felt that I should get what they are know for first before venturing outside the box. The people working here seemed friendly and helpful. We were able to order and pick up in a reasonable amount of time, it was packed here in general. I am not sure about using the QR code, I just went to their trailer and ordered in person. This place is a big expensive for what you get, it is typical of food trucks to have small portions and high prices. But, if you are eating here, you are paying for an experience. This is a party atmosphere for all ages. You can eat outside, which we did, or inside. They have lawn games outside and arcade games inside on two levels. I would eat at this place again. I would just like to see perhaps a larger fry portion or slightly cheaper burger price.

The space is smaller but very welcoming and definitely feels like a local hangout spot. When you walk in, the specials board is front and center, including their Burger of the Month, which is what I ordered. Mine featured goat cheese, spinach, strawberry compote, and jalapeños. The flavor combination was unique and really worked well together, and the burger itself was juicy. Personally, I would have loved a bit more char for those crispy edges, but the flavors were definitely there. It came with rosemary fries that were thin, crispy, and generously seasoned. I added a side of hot honey for dipping, which ended up being an unexpectedly amazing combo. The restaurant has a great beer selection, plenty of TVs for sports, fun retro-style décor, and soft lighting that creates a relaxed atmosphere. Even at 9 PM, there were families with kids dining, so it feels very family-friendly rather than a late-night bar scene. Noise levels were low enough that conversation was easy, which I really appreciated. Bathrooms were also exceptionally clean. My main hesitation was pricing. A quesadilla was around $15 and my burger was $20, which pushed dinner for one person with a drink and tip to about $35. While that seems comparable to nearby spots like Boston's, it felt a bit high for casual bar-style dining. Parking is limited, but the location is convenient, just minutes from I-75 and surrounded by other restaurants. Service was amazing. We were sad immediately and she checked back often and said what her favorite thing on the menu was. Overall, good food, creative menu options, and a comfortable atmosphere. With a little refinement and maybe slightly better value, this could easily become a regular stop.
