The monte, dried out French toast lacking in flavor, the ham inside was decent albeit salty

I really wanted to love this place, but it just didn't deliver. The ambiance is decent, but the temperature inside was freezing--it felt like they had the AC set to arctic mode even though it was 52°F and pouring rain outside. Definitely not the cozy brunch vibe I was hoping for. The food? Overpriced and underwhelming. The portions were small, the quality was mediocre, and honestly, it reminded me more of cafeteria food served on nicer plates. I've seen rave reviews and can't help but wonder if people showed up starving or simply don't know the difference between average and exceptional food. On the plus side, our server was very perky and friendly--she was great. Unfortunately, I couldn't ignore the young man working behind the counter who kept running his fingers through his hair and then not washing his hands before handling food, touching glasses, etc Seriously gross and really off-putting. Between the freezing cold dining room, overpriced mediocre food, and questionable hygiene, I won't be rushing back.

I'm not sure why this spot has such a low review on yelp. The staff was friendly, their seasonal beer was phenomenal, and the club sandwich I ordered was mighty delicious. The only downside I can see with this location is some of the prices of their alcohol, but at the end of the day all alcohol is pricy. Great bar food and tasty drinks! Highly recommend.

Go go go! Oh...and go when they open. It gets packed quick! Came here on a Sunday morning for brunch. Parking lot in the back. Sat along the edge of the restaurant in the sun (kind wish they had shades) but it was nice to see the sun during a chilly day. It was so hard to decide on food and drinks! Everything looked delectable (and affordable!). Tried the coffee of the day (pina colada) which did not disappoint. GF options galore!!!

Love. Just love. Great vibes. Great drinks. Great food. My new favorite place in Fenton. The service is top notch, and personable staff makes you want to keep coming back.

It's a coffee, tea, cocktail and food spot. I see a few sad looking donuts left from today or so. Some The pic of the smashing basil or something limeadey sounds nice right about now. It was from their summer menu and they don't have the peaches for the drink. They are going to make me a limeade with lemonade and lime juice. It should be interesting. I needed something refreshing after spicy and ice cream. It wasn't bad, but more of a lemonade than a limeade to me. Maybe their food is decent. I would have been more impressed if they had muddled up some lime and made me a fresh limeade. It's cold and drafty by the windows, I can feel the vents directly onto me. So glad I kept on my coat. Service is good at least.

I absolutely love coming here! I have loved everything that I've ordered off of this menu and the waitstaff is always so friendly. Super cute, intimate coffee shop/café combo.

Love the Sunday brunches, any food ordered is going to be good. The drinks are awesome, but mostly the staff makes this place a gem.

Over priced. Slow service - 45 minutes to get food. Out of many items. Lost our coffee order then charged us twice for it.

I checked out The Corner Bar & Grill last night after seeing some good online reviews, and overall…read moreit was a solid experience with a cozy neighborhood feel. The space is smaller but very welcoming and definitely feels like a local hangout spot. When you walk in, the specials board is front and center, including their Burger of the Month, which is what I ordered. Mine featured goat cheese, spinach, strawberry compote, and jalapeños. The flavor combination was unique and really worked well together, and the burger itself was juicy. Personally, I would have loved a bit more char for those crispy edges, but the flavors were definitely there. It came with rosemary fries that were thin, crispy, and generously seasoned. I added a side of hot honey for dipping, which ended up being an unexpectedly amazing combo. The restaurant has a great beer selection, plenty of TVs for sports, fun retro-style décor, and soft lighting that creates a relaxed atmosphere. Even at 9 PM, there were families with kids dining, so it feels very family-friendly rather than a late-night bar scene. Noise levels were low enough that conversation was easy, which I really appreciated. Bathrooms were also exceptionally clean. My main hesitation was pricing. A quesadilla was around $15 and my burger was $20, which pushed dinner for one person with a drink and tip to about $35. While that seems comparable to nearby spots like Boston's, it felt a bit high for casual bar-style dining. Parking is limited, but the location is convenient, just minutes from I-75 and surrounded by other restaurants. Service was amazing. We were sad immediately and she checked back often and said what her favorite thing on the menu was. Overall, good food, creative menu options, and a comfortable atmosphere. With a little refinement and maybe slightly better value, this could easily become a regular stop.

It was really nice to be sectioned off from the rest of the restaurant and it was pretty cool to sit inside of this vault. Our server was great! He kept coming by cracking jokes and making sure that we had enough to drink. The Tilefish dish I had was okay. It was on special that night and I was expecting it to be some big showing for the market price it was listed at. The piece was pretty small, rice was mushy, and the sauce had no flavor to it really. The fish was great though, so the main part of the dish was great at least! I had multiple cocktails, one being an espresso martini which was excellent! Overall a great place though. Be careful walking to the bathroom though, that glass floor where people dining below you can look up at you is pretty bizarre.

You can have dinner inside the room that used to be the vault. In the downstairs bathroom, the wall is safety deposit boxes. The upstairs is beautiful and light. The downstairs has a bit of a dungeon vibe and the table we had there was like a picnic table with benches I stead of chairs. The benches were uncomfortable and everyone's purses kept falling off. The service was decent and our server was knowledgeable about the specials and menu in general. The food and drinks were hit or miss. The burgers, truffle fries, and oysters were a hit. The beet salad was bland. The espresso martini was pretty but did not impress, other drinks like the lemon drops were pretty good.

Our waitress was what I would call professional waitstaff, with the experience and air that lets you know from the get-go that you will be taken care of. She was very attentive and the staff worked as a team to clear the table between dishes, but the bar struggled producing drinks for a slow Thursday in a timely manner. My favorite part of dinner tonight was the calamari, flash fried with banana peppers and baby squid, even though the Italian Wedding soup was very tasty. I have mixed reviews for our main dishes. While I found the lasagna layers to be too mushy, my girlfriend thought they were just right. We did, however, agree that my pasta dish (Paglia e Fieno) was too salty. Would we come back? I am not sure. At this price point, probably not.
