Prices are SUPER low compared to other places around the area. I shopped around enough for quotes and it seemed OK because of the positive yelp reviews. Seemed like you get what you pay for. I had a bad feeling going in and I was right. I got a weird "shaddy" vibe from them. I had both CV axles replaced for $250 parts+labor (also selling their warranty), and they called me a few hours later after starting the repair that my water pump was "leaking like crazy" and that I needed a new serpentine belt ($350 parts+labor). I said I had to think about it. Being scared into it I called back 5 minutes later giving them the OK. I never noticed any leaks before. $600 later I picked up my car right before they closed. Test drove it on the streets and highway. I heard a howling from the front drivers side when going 25mph-40mph, which I NEVER heard before. It seemed like the wheel bearing. I went back the next day I brought it back. I did my research and you had to take off the bearing/hub part to replace the CV axles. I drove with them in the car so they can hear the noise. They said it was the bearing too AND the technician knew about it but they didn't want to tell me at the time because they didn't want to seem like they were "taking advantage" of me. Really? They also told me that it was making the noise while test driving before the repair. I think I would've noticed a loud howling sound from the driver's side. So it seems like something "breaks or leaks" after every repair from them. I am going to get my bearings replaced from Z auto repair across the street. I wouldn't ever go back and highly suggest people avoid this shop. Beware and avoid. You're better off almost buying a new car then get your car repaired here. Repair after repair adds up and their "warranty" is useless. Very suspicious. read more

This is the WORST place I have ever been to to get my car serviced. They told me parts of my car could not be fixed, they overprice for a TERRIBLE job, and are very unprofessional. DO NOT GO. I got my oil changed and they put the wrong filter on it which cause a major leak in my engine and denied the fact that it ever happened when I brought it up AND would not reimburse me. I first came to Xpress Auto back in 2009 for a timing belt replacement and have been coming here for many other repairs that I have needed (car is 16 years old and still running strong). I brought my wife's SUV to have breaks done on it, the gave me as price and I agreed to get it fixed. They called me to pickup the car the next day, when I got there the Owner Allan was next to the car and said that the key is stuck and can't turn the motor on, he said that he will have an electrician check out the problem, he even gave me his own vehicle to drive and said that he would call me to let me know what happens. He called me and told me that I needed a new batterie and if I bought it he would put it in for free,!i thought he was a standup guy, so I went to pet boys and bought a new batterie and took it to him He called me and said that it was ready, so I went to pick it up and paid him. I took the batterie core to pep boys to recover the $15 core charge but something was telling me to check the core if batterie is bad. When they checked it; they told me; the core was good. So i called Allan and told him; he said that if I bring the receipt and the report that it was good, he would refund me the money When I went to get the money; he flipped on me and told me that he was not going to touch my car and I need to get the batterie off my vehicle and bring it to him in order for him to refund me the money. So I argued with him saying you put it in you should take it out. Then he started yelling at me saying that he saw court papers in my car and I was a bad man, and I needed to leave and he will not refund anything. I went to pet boys and their policy doesn't allow for return of installed batterie So I'm out $156 for Allan's miss diagnosis But I promised him that I will fight til I get my money back By the way they even left one of my wheel caps off and didn't put it on when they did my brakes but with the batterie issue I didn't notice till later I had to order it on the net The price is not worth the hassle You will go in with one problem then come out with more problems that you originally came with. Prices are not competitive but same as with Honda dealership. I had my rear brakes done in September 2014 (for $140) and it went bad again within a year. Called yesterday (Wednesday) morning to see why it happened and they asked me to come by so that they can check it. I went there within half an hour and they said they are too busy to check the brakes. They gave me an option that I leave the car there or they will call me in the afternoon to bring the car back. I had no other transportation so I came back home hoping that they will call. If they were so busy why the lady asked me to bring the car when I called them ? First, the lady denied the fact without looking at the paid invoice (receipt) that rear brakes were repaired at the shop. They gave me run-around and excuses not to check the brakes. They never call back in the afternoon. Do not trust this shop. Poor workmanship and their attitude sucks. Quality of customer service is zero. I finally got the rear brakes done this morning with Honda dealership and it cost me the same as what these "bozos" charged me last year !! I got good customer service experience with respect, work done immediately with genuine Honda parts. Please avoid this shop at all cost and spend your hard earned money somewhere else. These people have no idea what the heck they are doing. They charged me $1500 for a used transmission. Quick turnaround i got it back in 2 days. I went out of town for a week and when i returned we took our montero for a spin and it smoked alot. Transmission leaking all over the exhaust. We took it back. 4 says go by and we pick it up and leaking and smoking again. Were going on 3 months and its still leaking. I crawled under the truck and i noticed that they never replaced the transmission, absolutely no evidence of them even touching the thing. No fingerprints on the drive shaft, the oil pan wasn't removed to do a flush and filter replacement, but they sure charged me for it. Im going to take it back Monday morning and im going to stay there and ill f@$&ing help drop the tranny free of charge. Im going to call every single agency i can think of. I have had all of our vehicles worked on by Alan and his crew over the past 15 years or so. I am retired from 40 years I the auto repair industry and have had "run ins" with many a repair facility. I'm so glad I found Xpress Auto. Alan has always made the correct diagnosis and repairs were always completed correctly and in a timely manner at honest prices. My wife and I are always greeted in an honest friendly manner and are treated with respect. One time my Lincoln blew a water pump in Temecula. Auto Club wanted $250.00 to tow my car to Corona. I called Alan and he had my car towed to his shop for $50.00. He replaced the water pump with original factory parts and charged me approximately 50% of what the dealer quoted me over the phone. Today I brought my wife's Chrysler 300 in thinking the A/C compressor had blown. Alan called me to say it was not the compressor but rather a pulley. He quoted me under $100.00 parts and labor including 2 belts which I requested as long as he was replacing the pulley. Most other mechanical shops would have replaced the compressor and added the pulley and belts at a cost well over $600.00. Why would you want to go anywhere else? Thanks, Alan.
