I had my original iPhone repaired here more than 1 month ago. My WiFi wont work no matter what I do. I followed tips from different websites and Apple related forums. My battery was a also a little sucky so I needed to have it replaced. They charged me $90 to have it fixed. It's been more than a month and their warranty on my iPhone has already expired. I've used this iPhone extensively for the whole month and I can say it's all good. The only downside to them is that I called twice before I went to their store. Both times I asked them what kind of battery do they replace my iPhone with and they said it was OEM genuine Apple parts. I asked this question just to try whether they were honest. I expected them to say that they use 3rd party replacement battery which was fine with me. I am aware that Apple doesn't sell these iphone batteries to other businesses. I still went to them even after hearing their answer. After they repaired my iPhone, I asked one of them again personally what kind of battery did they put and finally, they admiited that they replaced it with a 3rd party battery. I would have atleast appreciated if they were honest from the beginning. read more

I shattered my iPhone6 screen and brought it here to be repaired. the mans attitude was very rude to begin with, I should've taken that as a hint not to do business here but I wanted my phone fixed ASAP (my own fault). he charged me $90 and everything seemed fine when I picked it up he told me I had a 30 day warranty and not even 24 hours later there was a crack on my screen! I didn't drop it or smash it but why would there be a crack of he just fixed it!? I brought it back the very next day and showed him the crack and he said "I know you were here less than 24 hours but cracks aren't covered under warranty. phones don't crack themselves. maybe it's from pressure" YEAH NO SHIT! and pressure? I had my phone for almost two years, would always put it in my pocket or in my phone case and "pressure" was never an issue. he said he would charge me for what they get the glass for and said $60! ON TOP of the 90 he charged me the day before! I feel like it was just shitty installation and he didn't want to take responsibility for it. now I can't trade my phone in because I have a crack on my screen that I paid $90 to get fixed and now I'm just stuck with it. terrible. read more

I've been here a couple of times for different issues with phones. The guy's that have helped me have always been friendly and informative. They have fair prices as well. My first visit here was about a year ago. I had an HTC HD7 that had a defective charging port. They said it would take an hour to fix, and the cost was $60. Seemed fair enough to me. I came back an hour later, and ended up waiting almost another hour to finish. I'm a pretty patient person, but i was getting a bit frustrated after 30 minutes. After the phone was finished, the guy apologized for the length of time. He was the only one there, and there were a couple of customers that came in with questions. I was able to look past the lengthy wait time. My next visit was yesterday, 1/26/14. This time i had a similar problem, but with an old Iphone 4. He wanted to try plugging it in and wait for 5 minutes to see if it would charge. 20 minutes later he came out to tell me it wasn't charging, and he was going to replace the charging port. This repair was actually cheaper than my previous visit at, $40.00. Once again, he said it would be about an hour. I decided to leave and go home since they were only a couple of miles away. I came back an hour and 10 minutes later. He said that the phone was charging now and it was at 26%, but wanted to give it a little more time. After 45 minutes he came back and said everything was ready to go. Now, I understand circumstances where time can fluctuate, but seriously after a few minutes, please come and inform your customers of the delay. You provide a great service, and you do great work. Don't let something like lack of customer interaction effect your business. Regardless of my rant of being unhappy for waiting for these guys, i am stil going to give them a good review. And my reason for this is this: They did have my phone number and offered to call me once it was ready. Instead of waiting for a call i decided to go at the time frame they provided. If I would have been a bit more patient, I'm sure I would not have waited to pick up my devices if they had called to tell me they were ready. read more

I always have my display on full brightness, so I could not clearly see all the dust, smudges and marks underneath the fake glass until I took it home and turned it off. Also, they somehow fucked up my ROM when I picked it up and had to do a factory reset right there at the store, then I had to reinstall my custom ROM and restore all my apps later. Additionally, my screen regularly freezes up when more than one finger swipes the screen, which could possibly mean they fucked up the digitizer underneath as well. I would have brought it back and showed my ass, but after reading some of the bad reviews in here (and paying cash...another mistake), it probably would have been useless. Stay clear of these incompetent crooks and take your phone directly to the carrier store (corporate stores) or order genuine parts online and fix it yourself at home (not that hard as I have learned and cheaper). read more

I brought in my iphone 6 plus because of charging port damage (that's what the Apple Store told me) but that wasn't the issue, they ran test on the port then went with new battery, new lcd and came down with the mother board was damage by water. I drop the iphone and my husband ran it over with his truck!! so a coworker who had his 2G iphone screen replace refer me to Xpress, and of course I went on yelp to check this place out and made sure to read all review. The two reviews that got my attention were from the person who rated 2-3 stars, they seem to be upset on the price variation. So I took jianwei z. suggestion which was to call and check the price first. so I called Xpress and a guy answer he asked which kind of phone I had and what was the problem; so I told him my screen was crack and I need it to be replace. He told me most likely it was a "digitizer" so it would cost $50 if that's the only thing that need to be replace since he can't see my iphone over the phone. (Which totally makes sense) I came into the store and spoke to the same guy I spoke to on the phone. He told me it's not just the digitizer but it's also the LCD that need to be replaced which would cost me another $65, but he did give me a "good deal." Within one week of having the screen replaced, the screen started popping out of the phone frame. My daughter has popped it back in numerous times, I've had to do it twice myself. Because the screen isn't seated correctly, the screen just started to develop fractures under the surface. Also, the Home button is loose and spins. I took the phone in within my 30 day warranty period, and he would only reseat the cracked screen and fix the home button. He refused to replace the screen that bowed because of his negligence. I had a friend recommend me this place many years ago when I had an old Samsung phone repaired. I remembered it was affordable and the quality of work was up there. So on November 27, 2015 I came back to have my Google LG Nexus 5's screen replaced. They quoted me at a very fair affordable price, so I put down a deposit so they can have a replacement screen shipped that day. Then in the afternoon, Jimmy gives me a call and said that he's found a replacement glass for a lower price and asked if I'd rather wait until the lesser expensive glass ships. Found a great place to replace iphone screens. It is on the corner of Westminster and Goldenwest. They replaced a 3G screen for $55 in less than 30 minutes. They said they would do a 3GS for $75. I brought my phone in here because my screen had cracked. Everything went well. Took about 40 minutes. Later that day my phone started acting up. There was like some type of bug in it. It would be touching the screen by itself. Then a couple days later the screen turns green. I was still able to here that the phone was working but wasn't able to see. I brought it back in and said "did you put a ghost in it?" And jimmy and I both laughed. He fixed it again because it was still under the 30 day warranty. So 2 weeks later I drop my phone phone again and the screen cracks again. He gives me a deal and says that he'll even put a screen protector on it. About 3 week later the phone start doing it's own thing now. So now the warranty is over and I'm basically stuck with a phone that does it's own thing and touches itself. So my iphone4s speaker blew out and I could not hear anything even music, text or phone calls ringing and mainly my ALARM D: I called these guys up and I spoke to jimmy, he gave me a quote and im not going to lie, its actually cheaper than most places. To replace my broken external speaker on my iphone4s,it cost around 40 dollars but i think u can ask them for lower. So it ONLY took him 20 mins to finish everything and he tested it out before you get it. I appreciated their service and he just did it on the spot. Came in the other day to fix my girlfriends screen. I thought it was completely broken but apparently it was only not displaying because it broke the lcd screen. It was 75$ which isn't bad but if you want a screen protector too then I would suggest to go to brook hurst and bolsa. They have a check in deal for a screen protector there. Well back to this place. He told me it would take an hour but since I lived down the block i just went home and took a nap and two hours later when I woke up I came to pick it up and it's as good as new. My Blackberry 9700 was submerged in water for about 20 minutes so I took it to AT&T to see if the warranty covers it. AT&T said the warranty doesn't cover water nor physical damage. Since I only had the phone for two weeks, the only option was to buy a new phone since I had already paid for the two years contract...costing me $450. So another phone without contract would have cost me more than $350. I asked them if they could fix my damaged phone and they said the phone was 99% dead and there's absolutely nothing that they can do. I thought to myself, if you can fix your TV, Computer, Watches, and even your own marriage, why can't a cell phone be fixed. I went on Yelp and read reviews about this repair shop. I called them up and Jimmy (owner) said that he was able to fix a BB that was in the washer and dryer...Ummmm. Was it actually possible to fix a water damage phone or was he making one of his sale pitch. THEN he said if we cannot fix it, THERE'S NO CHARGE! So I went there immediately. **DO NOT GET YOUR BUSINESS DONE HERE!** If I could give this place NEGATIVE FIVE STARS I mos def. would! I came to this bunk cellphone repair place to get my Motorola Cliq screen fixed, I dropped it and the screen was blank but it still displayed the usual flashing light on top. I told JIMMY the problem I was having and he guaranteed to have it fixed by the following morning before 10. I came there at 11 and his shady ass wasn't even done!
