Last year we had our entire finished basement flood and it ruined everything. With James we found out that it was a building issue when home was built most likely why it flooded among others things. He came in and did all the research needed to find what the issues were. He had to redo our entire structure of the outside. we had a wall that could of collapsed. He figure out how to move it back and make it straight again along with redoing our flashing and essentially waterproofing the outside again and redoing wood and siding along our entire basement area. He did absolutely awesome and couldn't be more thankful of him. This past month we have started to redo our basement which is now completely unfinished unfortunately and he just got done with our bathroom a few days ago. He does awesome work. He is very dependable, honest, very in depth with doing the job right and detailed which is all very hard to find these days . I would recommend him over big companies or anyone anyday. Thank you for all the great work you have did and will continue to do in our home. We greatly appreciate it! I tried to do a second review but it apparently doesn't let you so I'll add to this one. This past week with all the rain we had a issue with our sump pump failing do to the float not going back down. James came within the hour with his fans and with his pump band helped us get 4 inches of water out of our huge basement. We later discussed options of redoing the sump pump area so it would be more secure as it was clearly poorly done from whomever did it prior to us buying the home and he then had us order a part, when it came in he came in and redid our entire sump pump system with accuracy and great detail. Both experiences were very positive. The crews were fantastic and efficient with their time and also respectful of our property. They arrived on time and finished on time/early. During our project he took a week vacation, which he didn't tell us about before he started. In addition he took on another job and didn't show up for a week. He told us he had an opportunity to make a quick buck and was backed up on his child support so he had to take it. In the meantime our house was torn up. The other 7 weeks he averaged about 25 hrs of work per week. Between cigarettes every 40 min, not showing up at all, or working half days it is no wonder it's still not done. Our final straw was him working two days straight 3-4 hours and storming out after I called him out on the shower door being installed improperly. He agreed to come back and fix it the next day and finish installing the bathroom door (which was hitting the floor). He never showed up. He texted us in the afternoon saying he had a rough day and will be there tomorrow, Saturday. We adjusted out schedules once again, but Jason never shows up Saturday. I called and texted him and with no response. I decided to end the job before it was complete. I packed up the few tools he had laying around the house and put them outside for him to pickup. The headache of dealing with him is no longer worth it. He has no respect for a homeowner or their schedule. He does not stick to his word and seems to have an excuse for everything. His price was fair and his tile work was ok, but his foresite and planning a complete job bathroom job was extremely poor. If you have endless amounts of time to rotate your schedule and your home around Jason than by all means use him.
