The spot is cute and the girl at the register was super nice. However, the food was disappointing. The chicken shawarma fries had chewy chicken that was under seasoned, the fries lacked all flavor. The lahm bajeen was meh. I do give them props for the cheese pies, those were tasty! Oh btw it's a sit down restaurant but there isn't a bathroom.

This review is for a takeout order. Placed an order while we were headed to the car in Balboa Park. Food was ready in 10 minutes which was great timing. Got the Chicken Shwarma Salad, which was pretty massive and with generous portions of chicken. I think I would really like this salad at the restaurant, but the to-go version had the salad wilting a bit and chicken had dried out a bit. Nice flavors going on with the citrus vinaigrette and yogurt sauce. I'd recommend getting dressing on the side for a to-go order. Hummus and Pita - Hummus was a large portion - creamy and a crowd pleaser. The pita was a bit on the tough side since it was probably heated and then had the same issues with most takeout food. Happy with our takeout experience, but looking forward to going to the restaurant next time for a sit-down experience.

Super yummy and service was quick. Stopped by to grab a bite before a show at House of Blues. Got the cheese pies and hummus appetizers as well as the beef shawarma bowl. Everything was super flavorful! Loved every bite and will definitely be returning to eat when we are not in a hurry. There are no bathrooms so be aware.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a healthy for dinner (and kind of missing home food) when this place popped up on Yelp! It was literally a five minute walk (for me) right in the heart of downtown. It's a small quaint place with moderate indoor and outdoor seating. You can order takeout at the register or sit and order in at a table. The menu is plentiful with enough options to satisfy all dietary needs. I had the mixed grill plate, which was pretty generous and filling. It comes with a hefty side salad. All in all, the place is great with quality service and food. I didn't look too hard but I did not see a restroom available so that might be something to consider/double check. I also wished that this place didn't carry Coca Cola products, especially with the plethora of options available from our communities.

We stopped here because it was next to the hotel we were staying at and they were open on Thanksgiving. So glad we stopped in - we liked it so much we came back the next day. Mom had the lentil soup which was flavorful and rich. The baba ghanoush was smoky and garlicky and delicious when dipped in pita bread or over some of the meats. We got the mixed grill and all of the meats were full of flavor. Everyone working there is so sweet, friendly, and helpful. We really enjoyed our experiences there!

Oh my gosh. This place is so good, I highly recommend checking this place out…read more I had the Moussaka (Lebanese eggplant stew) and I throughly enjoyed it. It was so flavorful and the portions were pretty big. I also got to try the cheese fatayer, I loved the pastry it came it, it was great. This place has great vegetarian and vegan options along with some gluten free options. The menu is marked very well and they make it easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and the food came out fairly quick. The restaurant is on the smaller side. There was seating available for large and smaller parties. From the dinning area, they had a window into the kitchen so it was fun to be able to see the cooks make the food. They also had cute decor that added to the ambiance of the restaurant. There is plenty of parking available in the plaza that it is in.

Not attentive, not friendly, just kind of dismissive the whole time. We ordered a bunch of dishes and to be fair, everything we tried tasted great and was flavorful so you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The cheese knefe was a bit disappointing though. It's supposed to be crispy, but it came out mushy and kind of fell apart. The rose water reduction also made it way too sweet for my taste. Still decent overall, just not what I expected. But honestly, the service alone ruined the experience for me. I wouldn't come back. Food: 8.5/10 Service: 0/10

I just love the food, plenty of good parking in the back of the restaurant. Easy on your wallet with a vast menu......... No one cooks like the Lebanese. I'm an Egyptian, and we don't even come close. The Lebanese are the best at cooking Middle Eastern Cuisine, no question, Hands down. Try the dessert, Konafe, you won't be sorry.

The lady working there didnt greet us, ask us if we are eating in or taking out, she just stood and stared at us until we said something. It was a tad awkward. Rest of our time there was a bit similar, it just seemed like she really didn't want to be there. Second, the food was so bad. We got chicken shawarma wraps and they were 50% sauce, and the rest was lettuce, tomato, and boiled unseasoned chicken. My friend and I tried so hard to eat it but wow.. honestly worst wrap of my life. It was also on happy hour but we got charged full price anyway. At that point we were ready to go so didnt even argue the extra charge it was just a bad experience overall. Im so confused about all the good reviews! Maybe we just got the wrong thing..

The menu was a bit confusing, but I know that I like grilled veggies and Greek salad and then Ike was able to pick my protein that I wanted so that seemed easy enough. The base price with falafel or chicken Shawarma was Close to $16 but since I chose the meat, they added two dollars to my total. It took about 10 minutes for them to assemble my meal, but my veggies were cooked fresh on the stove, which was really nice. They tasted very freshly cooked just as they would as if I had cooked them myself at home. I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! The employees were working efficiently and the place was spotless and orderly.
