A very comfortable and cool setting right by Petco park. Spacious outdoor and inside eating options. Their dishes are very copious, fresh and delicious. Reasonable price for the quality/quantity. Friendly service.

My first time trying Panini Kabob Grill. We went to the downtown location since it was walking distance to her place. We both ended up ordering the exact same thing. Grilled chicken Kabob with avocado romaine salad and bulgur pilaf. Everything tasted great and full of flavor and fresh. The chicken was grilled to perfection and delicious. I liked the hint of mint on the salad dressing. Bulgur pilaf was flavorful. I could only eat half of my plate and took the rest home for another meal. Our server was so sweet and kind. The place was huge but only 1/4 full at lunch time. Hope people keep coming so it will be successful location

I came here recently for lunch, as a place had recently opened. The sign has been announcing their arrival for about a year or more so I was glad to see it finally happened. There isn't really a parking lot, so you'll need to either be walking from the area nearby, find street parking, or use one of the paid Lots. The place was pretty empty and we were seated immediately. We sat outside because it was a really nice day and the inside area still smelled of paint. Our server was really nice and let us know they had just had a grand opening and over the menu with us. I ordered the shrimp kabob and it came with a side of rice and I got the Greek salad. We also ordered a side of hummus and pita bread. The shrimp was so delicious and flavorful, and the texture was good, not chewy. The rice was also good and had flavor, and the salad was amazing. It had that nice Tangy flavor from the olives, and the dressing was very smooth and had a slight sweet flavor that I really enjoyed. I will note that on a second visit I also ordered the same dish, but that day somebody was a little heavy-handed with the salt on the shrimp kabob. I've also tried the beef kebab which was very good. It's very tender, lots of flavor, and they give you a pretty big portion. You can get a entree that comes with two of them, and if you want to split it with someone, for an extra $4 they will give you each your own salad and rice. It's actually a pretty good deal. I also love the peach ginger iced tea they have.

Stopped by because I received a 50% off discount in the mail and have been wanting to try, and so glad I did!! First, the outdoor area of this place is so large and great to sit and people watch people going to a Padres game. The hummus trio was so fresh and delicious, the red pepper hummus is probably the best I've ever had, and the pita was so soft and perfectly seasoned. The chicken kabob was fall apart tender, with incredible grill flavor. The portions were big, especially for the price, I shared all this with my boyfriend and we couldn't finish it all! Our service was great, very quick but it also was pretty empty. I'd definitely come back here again!

Came here on Sunday evening after a Savannah Banana game with a large group of friends (10) and a baby. We were able to get seated right away. Our side of the table ordered the hummus appetizer platter and switch out the edamame hummus with tzatziki. We also got a family platter to share. We got the strawberry date salad and Mediterranean salad. Also swapped out of of the meats for koobideh. Very tasty!! High recommended and prices are very reasonable! Great for large parties! Definitely will be coming back.

I have been waiting eagerly for the new PKG to open downtown and was excited to find out they were opening today! I brought the family for dinner and we enjoyed our experience. They have a huge outdoor covered patio with fans and heaters and a decent indoor space as well. It wasn't very crowded since I don't think many people knew they were open yet, but we were seated quickly and had good service for the opening day. Our appetizer came out very quick. Entrees took a little longer, but nothing crazy. We ordered the Falafal appetizer, which was the way to go, as it came with 6 small Falafal balls, two sides of pita bread, and a good portion of hummus and tzatziki. For entrees, I ordered the flat iron steak kebab that came with a choice of salad and grain. The steak was perfectly cooked pink in the center. I really enjoyed the Mediterranean Greek salad and the Bulgar wheat side. My husband got the chicken pesto panini and avocado romaine salad. He would've liked the panini toasted a bit more, but said the bread was soft, and panini was warm throughout. He felt the avocado romaine salad was a bit plain. Overall, a great casual dining spot right near Petco park! We will be regulars!

Was really excited to try this newly opened location. I really enjoyed the hummus sampler it's a great way to try multiple things! The steak kabob was good and the rice pilaf was flavorful. The chicken kabob was my favorite, very flavorful and tender. Our server was nice and the outdoor seating was great! There are tons of tables both inside and out, good casual spot if you're in the area.

Post-Padres game perfection Panini Kabob Grill's new downtown spot is a MUST-fresh, flavorful food, huge portions, and prices that don't hurt. Our server Natalie took such good care of us and gave the best recs already planning my next visit!

I came here with a large group (10 people) on a Sunday evening. The staff was quick to get us seated and take our orders. We were given some awesome recommendations. The food was all cooked perfectly and came in generous portions. I will definitely come back after Padres games to sample more of the menu.

The staff were really friendly and helped with giving guidance on my order as it was my first time here. The beef kabob was so yummy and juicy and really complimented the Greek salad. I will definitely be returning

While I used to come weekly, I now make the trip monthly since moving--and it's absolutely worth every mile. The star of the menu for me is the beef koobideh--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and consistently delicious. The quality of the food here is excellent across the board, and the flavors have made me a genuine fan of Persian cuisine, which I didn't grow up with but now count among my favorites thanks to this place. The service is always warm and attentive, adding to the welcoming, casual atmosphere. As a small but appreciated touch, the NHL Network is often playing on the TVs--something that makes the experience even more enjoyable for hockey fans like myself. Grill House Cafe is one of those rare finds that combines authenticity, great value, and friendly service. I now eat here more than the friend who introduced me to this fantastic restaurant. Highly recommended

However, I also ordered the bottled carbonated doogh (a yogurt drink) and was given a bottle that said best by January 2025 even though I ate here May 6, 2025. I did ask for the bottle to be taken off my tab and the elderly gentleman who was serving us agreed, but also said "for yogurt this doesn't matter." I realize that best by dates and expiration dates are differently, but I expect a bit more from a restaurant. I personally would hesitate to return. I also found the TV blaring to be a little distracting.

I ordered the beef soltani with zereshk polo for $38.36, tahdig with gheymeh for $15.60, and a small side of shallot dip for $2.08. The DoorDash menu is misleading. They should really indicate the portion sizes in ounces. The "small" was more like a sample size, about the size of a condiment container and maybe two bites at most. The flavor was not even good, so I am glad I did not order a larger portion. Overall, the food was very average. Nothing really stood out to me. Since I did order on DoorDash, I will say it was packaged nicely, however they did not provide utensils or sumac.

The portion size was generous, the saffron rice was a nice touch, and overall the food felt rooted in tradition rather than toned down. Where things fell apart was the pickup experience. I drove about 20 minutes and still ended up waiting around 30 more minutes inside before my order was ready. The bigger issue was not just the delay, but how poorly it was handled. The front of house seemed overwhelmed, communication was minimal, and there was little acknowledgment of the inconvenience. So for me, Sadaf is a place where the kitchen clearly outshines the service. The food was good enough that I would order again, but the pickup process needs serious improvement.
