Good is delicious as always!! Man, that baklava was fantastic!!! Service is great, quick, and they always get my order right!!! Ambiance is a commercial minimalist kitchen that produces some extraordinary food!!

Yallah Habibi - Canoga Park's Hidden Gem! 9042 Owensmouth Ave #32, Canoga Park, CA 91304 If you're craving bold Middle Eastern flavors, Yallah Habibi delivers in spades. The Babaganoush is smoky perfection, silky and rich with just the right touch of garlic. Their Lule Kebab and Beef Shish Kebab are grilled to juicy excellence--each bite bursting with spice and char. The Chicken Thigh kabobs? Literal mountains of tender, marinated goodness that'll have you planning your next visit before you finish your plate. Don't skip the Eggplant Kebab, a sleeper hit with deep roasted notes. And the Ras Nana--a 10-inch patty soaked in lemon juice and mint--is a zesty, refreshing surprise that balances the richness of the meats beautifully. Takeout only, but the flavors are full dine-in experience. Yallah Habibi is keeping the legacy of Kebab Halebi alive, and trust me, your taste buds will thank you.

These guys are great. The location is inside of the building it's take out only. The food is delicious no doubt about it, they really know how to make it home style and it feels like my family's cooking. Only thing I wish is I was closer because I want to come once a week, but I'm willing to make the drive. Keep up the great work!

Delicious kebab and side orders. Rice Pilav is so flavorful. So glad they are now nearby. Same great taste as Kebab Halebi in Van Nuys.

I recently discovered this place and keep going back for their lentil soup and chicken shawarma…read moresandwiches. A friend also said the lamb shank was good (comes with rice, salad, and hummus) but the lamb chops were a bit underwhelming. I only wish they were a bit more consistent with their pickles - sometimes they bring them and sometimes they don't but perhaps they run out. Friendly service, casual atmosphere, reasonable prices, tasty food - recommend!

Unfortunately, as much as I hate leaving low stars for family run RRs, this was really...not good. It was over-fried to death, extremely greasy and heavy saturated oil marks throughout the bread. Huge portion, but (zero x huge=still zero). Meat was completely tasteless, and the side salad + hummus was as bland as can be, zero dressing and flavor, respectively. A waste of calories and $25 bucks; left a very bad impression and no inspiration to come back and try anything else. Food was 1 star for the item I tried; I must be living in an alternative reality timeline because none of these other reviews are even close to what I experienced. Needless to say, didn't finish half.

We were attending an event at the bookstore next store so it was a no-brainer to give Pi on Sunset…read morea try. Mediterranean food is pretty consistent (ie the same) for my tastes wherever I get it so I was pleasantly surprised by a few elements of Pi. The pies, for example...I tried the Zaatar pie...honestly it was not much more then a thick, airy, freshly made pita with Zataar and olive oil on it...but it's sometimes the simplest things which delight. The Zaatar pie delighted. I tried the Lebanese red wine (I mean, when in a Lebanese restaurant, why not?) And it stood up to any red I'd had anywhere else. The Tabouleh (one of my Mediterranean standards) was fresh made, filling, and a nice companion to the heavier Zaatar pie. It was awfully nice, and unexpected, to get complimentary baklava at the end of the meal...2 generous sized pieces which were pretty indulgent and eliminated the need to get (and pay for) dessert there or anywhere else. Service was lovely...the manager or owner took care of us and made us feel he was truly grateful that we were there. It's also a hookah spot...so if you're not into that vibe or smoke of any kind, (I'm not really) you'll definitely smell that anywhere you are in the restaurant, even if you're not seated next to those using hookahs. If you've got a hankering for Mediterranean...especially a place that has some unique things not at other Mediterranean spots, definitely give Pi on Sunset a shot.

Unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The sandwich was extremely unappetizing. The bread was soggy and falling apart, and the filling looked and tasted like it had been sitting out way too long. It didn't feel fresh at all, and several of us couldn't even finish it. The fries were even worse, they tasted stale, like they were at least a day or two old, and had that chewy, reheated texture instead of being crispy. Definitely not something anyone would want to eat.

We found on Yelp, this restaurant named Lemon Zest. It is a restaurant that is part of small business center but Lemon Zest looks like a stand alone business. The interior was designed so nice with ample seating outside in the patio area and inside. This place is meant to hold large parties. The vibe is so cool for a casual date or dinner and drinks with friends. It is also cool to host a mixer or private party! At 9:15pm we were the only party and our server treated us so well. She didn't rush us but she did check in with us periodically. I wish we got her name so we can properly give her praise. The food was amazing. This is my first time here so I ordered the beef gyro plate and paid extra for loaded Greek fries. The plate was huuuge! Such a generous serving that is enough for two people to eat. The fries were crisp and the toppings worked so well. It complimented the thin, well-seasoned slices of beef. The pita was cut into triangles, making the perfect bite. My friends and I really enjoyed our dinner and promise to comeback!

Most importantly, the food was the greatest ever. My family would have been fine with just the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant-- it was hearty and creamy and garlicky, everything I have ever wanted in a dish. But of course, we ordered the super combo due to our hubris and paid the price (we took a bunch of boxes). They are not kidding when they say the Super Combo feeds 4-5, they must be talking about 4-5 men in their early 20s because it was way too much for us. Assuming you eat all the salad and rice and the bed if bread the meat is served on, I can imagine this feeding more than 5 people. It is truly the most value item on the menu, should you have the personnel to take it on. Highly recommended for anyone who likes mediterranean food! Try the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant!!

Since my son was coming over, I ordered two koobedieh combos (beef and chicken ) and a falafel plate. OMG, so good, so much flavor and huge portions. The rice is perfectly seasoned and fluffy, the skewers were juicy and tasty. The falafel, the best I've ever had! Perfectly seasoned, insanely flavorful, fluffy rice, and the shirazi salad absolutely slapped. All this for $15 in 2026 when gas is $6.30. And the service? So kind. The person I called taking my order was sweet, everyone at pickup was welcoming, and I swear someone's grandma was in the kitchen because the food tasted like a warm hug.
