Chicken thigh is my thing and I have had way better at several other places like Original Kabob Factory in Glendale. This would not be a 4 star review if that is all I got. Notice how different places spell it like Kabob or kebab? The star here is the shish kebab. That was really good. I would stick to that going forward. If I only got that, it would be 5 stars. Yallah Habibi is truly a hidden gem for Middle Eastern food in the SF Valley and has quickly become our go to lunch spot. Tucked inside a commercial building with multi kitchens, it's best to order ahead for pick up. The first time a coworker brought it back to the office, the aroma alone stopped people in their tracks. Within days, everyone was asking, "Where is that from?" Now our whole SF Valley office orders from here once or twice a week and we've been spreading the word to family and friends too! My personal favorite is the chicken thigh kabob lunch special: incredibly tender, juicy, and very well seasoned and marinated every time. I pair it with rice pilaf, hummus, a Greek salad, pita bread, pickled veggies, and their garlic spread... which deserves its own shout out. This garlic spread is everything! Beyond the food, William, the owner, brings such a kind and genuine spirit. You can feel the passion and care he and his team put into every dish, and it truly translates into the food. That's why when we recently catered lunch for a work meeting, Yallah Habibi was the only choice. William and his team went above and beyond: generous portions, incredible flavors, and nonstop praise from everyone (including coworkers from other offices who said they'd gladly drive over 100 miles to eat this food again). The catering spread consisted of humus and perfectly seasoned chicken to rice pilaf, house salad, BBQ tomatoes and jalapeños, garlic spread, pickled veggies, and plenty of pita; was outstanding. And dessert sealed the deal: flaky, sweet baklava and soft alfajores filled with dulce de leche, perfect with coffee or tea. We truly can't rave enough about Yallah Habibi. The food is delicious no doubt about it, they really know how to make it home style and it feels like my family's cooking. I'm beyond thrilled that Yallah Habibi will continue the legacy, delicious recipes, customer service, & flavors of Kebab Halebi! We were beyond heartbroken to hear that they closed, our family was dining there for 11+ years and also ordering a lot of take out from there, with family style platters. Everything here is all the same! You simply can't beat the flavors & portion sizes. Our go-to is the chicken thigh kabob. Some of the best kabobs you'll have in ALL of Los Angeles, guaranteed! Especially if you can't go all the way to Glendale for something like Mini Kabob. Their lunch special is always pretty amazing too, you can't beat it for the price & quality & portions! We also love the fluffy buttery rice pilaf, hummus, garlic sauce, all their salads, and the filet mignon/beef kabob. Unbelievably tender. So glad Will let me know that they're open! I only have ONE "negative"....they're only take out/to-go at the moment! I will be crossing my fingers, ordering, and hoping for their success so that they eventually are able to open a sit-down version of this restaurant again. We were so disappointed when Kebab Halebi closed down. We had been going there for years. We're glad William decided to open up Yallah Habibi, he even has the Filipino cook that worked the grill in KH. It's more of take out but he has a table outside that we sat on to have our favorite dishes. I normally have the grilled thigh chicken with rice, my husband normally orders the Lule kebab or the beef kebab with rice and of course the sides that make all the flavors come together, Armenian salad, babaganush and humus. Oops don't forget the garlic paste, it normally comes with the chicken but we just love it and eat it with everything. read more

Fresh quality food at a good price. We go out of our way to go there as we live in the South Bay. During our last visit, we ordered the Greek salad, Lula kabob and Ashta dessert. They were very tasty. The salad was fresh with a generous amount of olives and feta. The ashta dessert is absolutely my favorite. We also had some baba ganoush which was amazingly tasty.
