Nothing but great things to say about this place. My bf & I went there a few times and we took his grandfather there for his birthday in September. Great service, food, clean restaurant and we will be back!

The food is bland. Salad tasted of soap. You get a kids portion for your meal. I paid almost 20$ for 4 shrimp and three pieces of shit steak. Not worth it. Next time I'll spend my money at sushi cafe in Fleming for decent Japanese.

So the food is good. It's a hole in the mall in a random plaza so they don't get as much business because of their location. The waitress is a sweet young lady who remembers our order each time. They do probably have the best clear soup this side of the state!! Please know I've had a lot of clear soup in my time!! Sushi is quite tasty! Portion size is actually appropriate. I finally stopped ordering two rolls since I'm not a fan of sushi leftovers.

Don't order the hibachi here, this is the "dinner portion"? Seriously??? I love the Sushi here and the Miso Ramen soup, but will definitely will skip Hibachi next time. 6 tiny pieces of chicken, 4 shrimp and a bunch of burned onions.

Cozy date night spot, we rolled in less than an hour before close on a Friday, we were only one of two tables of customers. Waitress is sweet and answered any questions, we lacked for nothing nor was hovered over. Will be back soon

I have been trying to find a good ramen spot since I moved back to Florida. I got spoiled in Japan. This spot was so close to the house and I had my first visit after living here for almost two years. The decor is very reminiscent of a Japanese local shop. The taste is authentic and the fish is sushi/sashimi is super fresh!! It is quaint, clean and service is great! I will certainly come back for more.

Really amazing sushi! Hidden gem for sure. Better than any other places around! They ARE open for dine in now as well! Don't sleep on this place - I promise you won't be disappointed.

Holy moly did I just stumble back into Japan! I was stationed in Japan for a few years and loved the food and scenery. Today my wife and I tried Yama and it is as authentic as it gets! Food, clean and fresh! The establishment is small but gives that cozy Japanese feeling I've been missing. I highly recommend this place as my wife and I now call it our new go to "sushi spot".

    Lunch steak hibachi take out

Great hibachi, mediocre ramen. Staff was pretty friendly, but it can get quite busy during lunch time. The lunch steak hibachi was excellent! The steak was cooked perfectly, and the fried rice was on point. I also thoroughly enjoyed their clear soup and ginger salad. The portion was also reasonable compared to the price. On the other hand, the tonkotsu ramen was a bit of a disappointment. The noodles themselves were average, and likely purchased from suppliers rather than made in-house. The broth was lacking in the umami flavor that real ramen broths should have. It tastes like something made from prepackaged powder rather than broth cooked with pork bones for hours. The meat was very dry and was probably refrigerated for several days. They only gave me half of an egg, and was mediocre. Overall, you can get a similar quality tonkotsu cup instant ramen from an Asian grocery store than what you get here. I still haven't tried their sushi yet. Hopefully, it will tastes more like their hibachi and less like the ramen.

I have to agree with the previous Yelper that this place is a hidden Gem! Hubby has frequent here quite a bit without me so we had our date night here. I was nervous at first as the photos from other yelpers show so much sushi, ramen, etc...... Service was wonderful!!! In regards to the Ramen, I had too much of in the military however Hubby just LOVES all types and still wants me to try as if it's our first time enjoying this entree. So why not, I love being adventurous! Very happy that I was!!!!!! They have an abundance of drinks to choose from. I had sweet tea and it was delicious. I chose to indulge in the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box of which the chicken was sooooooooo tender full of flavor. The fried rice was delicious too. Prior to the main course I was served soup of which was Clear Soup, mmmmmmmm. Hubby indulged in Tonkotsu of which I loved presentation. We also had the Alaska Roll from the Sushi Bar. Very tasty! Ended up ordering the deep fried pumpkin pie (for a limited time) for dessert. Yum, yum, yummmmm! Will definitely be back to try more yummies on the menu!

Delicious, a little pricey but worth it. The Spider roll and Shrimp tempura are my favorite. Loved the philly roll also.

Staff was friendly and engaged. Ordered a Hibachi combo, seafood soup, n plum wine. None disappointed. Well made. The fried rice (Choice option) was not overwhelming on its own which was ok in my perspective allowing a good mix with the suace from the plate. Ordered the side salad w Ginger dressing. Very cool temperature making it very refreshing. The seafood soup was more than plentiful if it's considered an 'appetizer'. My server Sierra was very attentive and ensuring any service need was filled. Professionally friendly! Definitely recommend n will visit again.

The service was great. I made a take out order of four types of cooked rolls. The waiter told me it would be about 15 minutes. Since I had my dog in the car I told him I would be out in my vehicle and would come back in in 15 minutes. I sat in my car listening to a podcast and just as I was about to go back in the waiter came out with my order. Talking about excellent service. I was very impressed that he went the extra mile to make sure I got my food in a timely matter. I went home to eat and unlike most quick eat places, they had included everything I needed to enjoy my sushi. The rolls were expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. I will return soon and if you are in the area it is definitely a great place to sit and eat or grab take out.

The noodles can easily feed 2-3 people, the hibachi and other entrees as well. Sushi was plated nicely. Service was great. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a surprise dessert "fried oreo". It tasted so good.

Finally managed to sneak over here without the entourage we usually have to bring (i.e., son,…read moredaughter in law, grand daughter...) to enjoy dinner together, just the hubby and myself. Usually on a Saturday night, this place is PACKED and not just for dinner! We've been once or twice on a Saturday and sworn we'd never go on that night again because of the half drunk women and men at the bar, the thumping music turned up loud so they're all yelling to be heated over the music...you get the picture... No so, tonight. Tonight we settled into our booth with the football game on (turned so low you can't hear it), the restaurant filled with the quiet murmur of voices of the other couples enjoy their meals...there was even a party of 15 seated at the long table up front with children (not that you'd have noticed since they were so quiet and well-behaved!) enjoying what looked like a family get-together. Can't help coming back here over and over...the food is CONSISTENTLY THAT GOOD. Sushi? Out of this world! Hibachi? Knocks it out of the ballpark! But omg...their clear soup is something you just want a kiddie pool size of so you can almost bathe in that stuff...look at our bowls! Yeah. There's nothing left!! Their house salads with that ginger dressing? Equally delicious. Their yum-yum sauce (they call it shrimp sauce) is on point and so is their steak sauce. We have never been disappointed with anything we've eaten here. It's always hot, freshly prepared, delicious! So much better than any other place I've tried...what's that saying? "Always copied, never duplicated". That's this place. I've tried so many hibachi places, sushi places...no place I've been to HAS BOTH under the same roof. The service is excellent, haven't found anything to ever complain about except the occasional drunk or obnoxious patron, but that's not the establishment's fault. That's society's fault If you love sushi...or if you don't, but you love hibachi...or tempura, or gyoza dumplings, seaweed salad...any Japanese dish you can think of or combination of sushi flavors...fried rolls or raw rolls....sushi or sashimi pieces too...try this place and you'll find your newest fav spot to have that night out!!
