Our appetizers were delivered with our entree and our waiter never returned to check our satisfaction with our meal. The dining room is light and bright, the sushi area is a great place to watch and the bar is friendly. I've had both the Chinese menu items and would recommend Crab Rangoon and General Gau's Chicken while my husband recommends the Beef with Broccoli and chicken wings. The main thing that I LOVE about Yang Ming II is the sushi. Yesterday I tried a new item on their menu called "Phoenix". Oh my gosh, it was so amazing. After multiple flyers being sent to my home for months I tried their food. The worst Chinese food I've ever consumed. Chicken fingers all cheap dark meat and greasy. Mei fun chicken junk, must try chicken slices horrible, plain lo mein junk, special mei fun not so special ...one piece of chicken in it and wreaked of not menu listed curry. What a disappointment, was a going away dinner for my daughter to college. You people should be ashamed to serve this low grade food. Never again. This is my favorite Chinese place by far, the people are always so friendly and helpful. The food is always incredible and worth it. As far as price it's not terrible, it's definitely not the cheapest Chinese food but it's not the most expensive. But honestly I'd pay top dollar for yang Ming food. We weren't fans of the old restaurant that was there before but my wife and I went there while on vacation to give it a shot. So glad we did! The place has been completely renovated. The main dining area is bright an airy. There is a bar area separate from the restaurant and they also have a sushi bar in it's own room. We had some Sushi and drinks and it was fantastic. We ended up meeting the for lunch two days later to try their typical "Chinese food" and Yang Ming II impressed us again. Pricing was more than reasonable right in line with with other restaurants but the quality is so much better. I'm not going anyplace else from now on. On both visits the staff were EXTREMELY friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Food arrived quickly and presented well. Went here for the first time this week for dinner. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. There are sectioned off areas within it for the dining room, bar area and sushi area all appeared to be spotless. We ordered a PuPu platter, and everything in it was crisp and prepared to order not sitting around in a warmer. Also ordered some veggie lo-mein which came out with perfectly cooked noodles and vegetables. We were already impressed with our overall experience and as we were finishing up, we were approached by a gentleman, who I would assume is one of the management or owners, to ask us how we enjoyed everything? We mentioned that we loved it and would be back with some family members who enjoy Sushi. He took the time to show us, on his cell phone, some beautifully displayed sushi dishes that they have prepared in the past. Very impressive!!! This place is a keeper on our list for sure. read more

We were looking to get Chinese food for my husband's birthday, only to realize that the place we planned on ordering was closed Mondays. Whomp whomp. We quickly checked Yelp and found Yang Ming II, and even on the phone they were pleasant. We were feeding four hungry people, so we ordered a fair amount of food for delivery, and the fee was only $5...not too bad. They showed up on time (surprisingly not always the case!), and the delivery guy was very nice and friendly. What's more, they gave us a free shrimp tempura roll with our meal since we ordered so much food, lol. The food was AWESOME. The wontons in spicy peanut sauce were amazing, all the apps (get the chicken and beef teriyaki skewers!) and food was great. Some of the yummiest Chinese takeout I've had in a while. My daughter and I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. The staff is very welcoming, prices are reasonable. What we love about this place is that the food is super fresh and delicious. The fried rice is not the brown, dried out rice but a more delicate, lighter version that seems more authentic. The mango chicken is very good - thin slices of chicken breast, lots of mango in a delicious sauce. The sushi! It's excellent! I've been here several times and only once has been good. The reason I keep going back is because they have good sushi. The biggest issue with the place is the service. While the servers are nice, they are supper slow and not really attentive. Another issue is the regular food. A lot of time when it comes out it's barely warm or even cold which is very disappointing. Take out isn't much better either, I have waited an hour for my sushi even though I'm right down the street. Beautiful, clean spot. I like that the dining room is separate from the bar and sushi room. I've only been here three times since it opened and it has been decent. The only things I've had so far, that I wasn't crazy about, was the lo mein and the tea. Lo mein was very dry and the tea was served in a mug like you would get at your nana's along with a tea bag....jasmine tea. Not a fan. What happened to the old school metal teapot with regular Chinese tea?? Those minor issues aside, service is good and the other food I've tried was as well. Every time I've been here I've had a wonderful experience! Food is expertly prepared, looks beautiful, is delicious, is served hot, and in generous portions. . Service is neither rushed nor slow. The atmosphere is calm, relaxed and open. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive, but not hovering. The menu is broad. I have not explored the Japanese offerings, but they look very appealing. Tried Yang Ming last night, ordered take out. Seemed relatively quick as I didn't call ahead. Staff is friendly. I ordered the A1 appetizer combo which comes with 6 chicken fingers, boneless spare ribs and beef teriyaki as well as pork fried rice. Also added an order of chicken low mein. There was an impressive amount of food for one person. The beef teriyaki is the best I've had yet at a Chinese Restaurant. everything else was good and seemed fresh.
