Mice, mice and, apparently, more mice. Our neighbor recommended Yankee Pest Control to us. I found the office personnel to be helpful and friendly. Under our contract, they have been here three times in two months. The first was to observe our problem, set out baits and tell us about a few issues in our foundation, a couple of which they used a foam to close up and several others which we had repaired. The second time was to check the baits. They were all empty, but we hadn't seen any further droppings. He set new baits. The third time, yesterday, the baits were still all full, which means no mice!!! The house continues to be dropping free. We are satisfied and especially recommend their tech Sean who is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He suggested we set up a fourth visit in six weeks. My family as well as the attached house next door has been suffering from a bed bug problem for quite a while, it has been a living hell. Yankee Pest Control was recommended through a mutual friend to do the extermination. They were prompt and polite and were definitely here to get the job done. During a routine check-up for our neighbors (we had had ours days prior) one specific employee went out of his way to even knock on our door to see how we were doing he came over to accommodate our needs knowing that both houses were still having issues even though he wasn't schedule to. I didn't realize I had a mouse problem until Ed came to do a yearly seasonal inspection. He has been coming every month for the past year getting it under control. As of yesterday, no signs of any mice!!! He is great. Giving me his first appointment of the day so I don't have to miss work. He inspected my entire 2-family house, giving me advice and updates. He patched holes inside and out, put out traps inside and out, even climbed under my porches. He will continue to come by making sure they stay away. For the first time in 21 years, I had a bad mouse problem in my home. They were digging up the street in Boston, close to my home, during construction, and the mice were making folks crazy, as they found their way into the crawl spaces of the older homes. Troy, one of Yankee's service technicians, was able to work with me diligently to eradicate the problem. He knows his business. We started using Yankee Pest in 2024 when we had a small mouse problem in our attic. Sean was great and I requested that he come back for each follow up as he familiarized himself with our home. Each time he came, we were closer and closer to being cleared of our mice issue. He would come for each follow up and would remember where to go and what to check. Even better, when we had a bee problem in the summer, he came out and got rid of a few nests for us. He's friendly and easy to work with. I had a scheduled internal and external spring sevice this morning. Kendra, the service technician, was very responsible and did a thorough job. She checked and rebated existing traps in our basement and added more traps where needed. She did a complete examination and spraying of the outside of the house. She told me that there would be a follow up appt in 3-4 weeks and that Yankee Pect Control now offers basement cobweb removal as part of their plan. I found out the hard way I had a TERRIBLE mouse problem. Lived in the same house for 20 years and never anything like this! I was just gobsmacked! All of the technicians are very polite, knowledgeable, kind, understanding, and ready to help. I have had 3 techs over time (I can't remember the name of the first guy unfortunately), but I would like to comment on Sean and Cory. I hired Yankee Pest for rodents in my yard, under my deck, and in the back of my house, no to mention in the trash cans. Very knowledgeable and informative techs and reps. They came right away with tools that would provide a safe evacuation of said rodents-as we do have house pets and everyone I dealt with provided us friendly service! They came back within 48 hours to check traps and follow up. Couldn't be happier with Customer service over the phone, technician that came to my house (Chris) and the outcome of no more rodents! Fred is the best. I was having an ant infestation and was very concerned about the wildlife around my home. If you need to get rid of mice, Ed Johnson at Yankee Pest is the person to get. I had mice in my basement for years due to a dirt crawl space under a section of my house. Ed recommended a way to seal it up and then was persistent in filling other holes and making sure the basement is sealed. He has crawled through a very tight tunnel-like area to do his inspections, really going the extra mile. As a result, my basement has been mice free for the last two inspections. I am thrilled. We just hired Yankee Pest Control gto help us with a Rat problem; They were pricey, but they did get rid of the rats. Several years ago we hired them to deal with a bad mouse infestation, and they got rid of those as well, although they had to come back a couple of times, We did have a baaad mouse problem.
