Fuzi Crispy Beef
Salman Z.

Verdict: felt the place was too overpriced for they're serving. Here's what we got: Apps: - Blue Crab and Cheese Wontons: very little blue crab and cheese. We could mainly taste the crispness of the wonton - Spicy Ahi Tuna with Asian Pear Summer Rolls: all we could taste here was lettuce and tuna and mainly the lettuce. Entrees: - Crispy beef: good but not worth $34 - Fuzi prawn: way too sweet. Side: - lo mein: For $9, I expected way more noodles than what we got. In fact, for that price, I would've expected the lo mein to include vegetables as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself was dimly lit and had thoughtful decor, but I don't think that should be reasoning for higher pricing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server was kind, but service overall was slow.

This establishment has a very relaxing ambiance, dim lights, and very great service. The crispy beef was the star dish of the hour, although their dumplings were also very well made and flavorful. Prices were fair, and I enjoyed my meal!

Kung Pao chicken

Really wanted to like this restaurant but was underwhelmed. I had the Kung Pao chicken and my wife had beef with broccoli. My sweet and sour soup was pretty basic and my wife enjoyed her egg drop soup. Kung Pao chicken was okay but the fried rice was undercooked and not seasoned. My wife thought her beef with broccoli was very tender but a little spicy for her. Spring rolls were good. Service and ambience were good but I was disappointed in my meal.

Went with a large group on Christmas. Service was excellent but food was bland and that was consensus of the entire large group.

We've dined here several times and the food and service is always excellent. The crab Rangoon is my favorite around.

High end Chinese cuisine, with one of the most impressive wine lists in all of Dallas. Always enjoyable.

We ate egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and soup, followed up by orange beef and beef fried rice. The crab Rangoon could have used more stuffings, but what was there was good. I thoroughly enjoyed the orange beef. The tenderness of the beef and the taste of the sauce was on point. Definitely don't pass on this one if you are craving Chinese food. Note: they do serve peanuts before the meal, so watch for that with allergies!

This place is absolutely made for a group outing, and we're already planning to come back with a group to take full advantage. The food was a delight. The Singapore noodles had this wonderful curry flavor that I absolutely loved, and the combo fried rice was just as satisfying. We also ordered the Peking duck (P1 on the menu). It was good, though not quite as flavorful on its own as we'd hoped. That said, once you load it up with the hoisin, cucumber, and spring onions, it all comes together beautifully. The bao buns that came with it were soft and delicious, honestly a highlight. We also sipped on hot jasmine tea throughout, which was the perfect, refreshing complement to the whole meal. A solid spot with great vibes, tasty dishes, and room to grow on us even more with a return visit.

All the food had amazing flavors so I would recommend everything. My only note was the beef in the noodles was slightly chewy so I would suggest another protein option. The service was great. Our server was patient with us while answering our questions on the menu and knowing the menu well enough to recommend us things that suited our palettes. The restaurant is spacious with many tables to accommodate different size parties so it did not take long for us to get seated.

If you live in the area, it's a quality spot to get your soup dumpling fix. My Overall Rating - 3 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, the first thing I noticed was Chef Sun's was very busy (great sign). The restaurant itself wasn't very memorable, and the table we sat at was next to a drink fridge and lots of traffic. 1/2 Star. Service - The staff at Chef Sun's was great, especially for a busy Chinese restaurant. The staff proactively kept our glasses full of water and were always on hand to help. Once we placed our order, food just kept coming from the staff as each dish was brought out piping hot and fresh. 1 Star. Food - The Xa Long Bao (soup dumplings) were nice and plump, freshly cooked and super-hot. This was the best part of the meal. The traditional Chinese dishes like their noodles were all a bit oily for my taste. Thee two appetizers - fried shrimp (very safe choice) were crispy without being greasy and the red dipping sauce was more sweet than spicy. And the spicy edamame was good. Overall plenty of good, but nothing super memorable. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Only if I'm in the area and I want soup dumplings. Chef Sun's Noodle & Dumpling has some oily noodles and great dumplings. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here, but now that I know they exist, I'll stop by next time I want soup dumplings. 1/2 Star.

It's so much better than chicken soup with the tenderness and flavor. They give you plenty of the pancakes and veggies. David is the absolute best everrr! He always takes care of us and knows just what to recommend. Pretty sure he sees us and just puts in the duck order at this point. Anyways, the pea shoots are basically one of the only vegetables I love to eat and I'm always so happy to see it on the menu here. All of the dishes are great and you really can't go wrong. But regardless, we didn't have enough skin so asked if we can get 2 more skins, even if we had to pay for them. The waitress barked at us that it comes in 10-pks and that she can't get us just 2 pieces. Fine, but there's no need to be annoyed and roll your eyes at us. The service was much to be desired. We ordered the A-Choy vegetable and it was awful, old and yellow and not cooked well. It's like they didn't sauté it in a hot enough wok so it wasn't crispy. So disappointing this time. Don't get me wrong, the Peking Duck and the soup that comes with it were still pretty good. Thus the second star.
